It's a cute and quirky spot with interesting menu choices. Nice lunch spot. Service is great! You order and pay and then sit down and they'll either call you up or bring it out for you.

I continue to love love TKS. I met two friends here for lunch. One had never tried it (she's in love with the food here too now!). I ordered my usual- Nonna's meatballs without the bread, cucumber salad, and the pear, gorgonzola, and pecan salad. This time I also added in a brown butter brownie for all of us to share. Delicious all around!!!

Was starving and needed a breakfast yelp came thru for me at the kitchen sink. Funky inside spot with local North Carolina flavoring. I gotta say the service was the star of the show with both waitresses being extremely attentive and helpful. Little small on the portion for being called the kitchen sink, but they gave me a to-go cup for my coffee so we're all good.

First of all- big shoutout to the service. Even though it wasn't busy, they took time to take care of our order, kept us updated when one of the items was made incorrectly and quickly fixed the error, and overall represented their business very well. The sandwiches were above average, having a nice blend of meats and toppings into some unique creations. It won't blow you away given the price, but after a day at the beach we were happy with what we got. The sides are what you'd expect (the fries were, surprisingly, our favorite part of the meal). Some clutter and grime around the store, but overall a fun spot not far from the beach.

All around the best place in Wilmington. The atmosphere, the workers, the food.... AMAZING!! They do a special brunch menu on the weekends though. I didn't know about that. But went and it was still amazing and delicious. LOVE IT!!!

They've updated this place a bit and it's really well done. They've added a small bar area for espresso or cocktails, and moved the tables around which makes more sense. They have great weekly specials! Of course, their food is just as wonderful as always. The people who work here are always pleasant and look like they enjoy their work.

What is there not to love about this place?! We are in town from NY. We stopped to grab lunch I got the sweet n savory with the house made chips. My daughter got the Mac n cheese and fries. Huge portions of fries were are mouthwatering. My sandwich has so much flavor and blended well together. The Lavender Lemonade is a must and refreshing. We ended up coming back my daughter got the same thing again but with the parm fries. I got the Goat which is AMAZING it was so yummy. The soup was really good too. We plan to visit again before we head home. This is our go to spot the next time we visit Wilmington. This place is a gem. The staff is so friendly. We felt so relaxed and at home here

Fabulous lunch date at the Kitchen Sink today. We love the eclectic vibe here. I had the Get Smashed sandwich...delicious. The bread is so good. My husband had the Meatball Sandwich. The person that took our order was very pleasant and our food was made promptly. I'll definitely be back.

We started walking around and my wonderful wife suggested Copper Penny. Absolutely! There was a short wait for a table, but we didn't mind. The inside is almost like we remember it. We did notice the menu is a lot smaller. The last time we dined here was around ten years ago. Definitely plenty of options. We went with the onion ring appetizer, Cobb salad, and the BBQ Burger. The atmosphere of Copper Penny is the same. Definitely missed this place. After a short wait our food was brought out. Everything was delicious. This is just an update, but we still love Copper Penny and will continue to return.

Very good and the fries as well. 3. Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich was very bland and had an excessive amount of spinach. Even the Au Jus couldn't rescue this sandwich. 4. The famous onion rings. Well they must of ran out of seasoning because these were more flour than flavor. Very doughy with no spices. Not worth the $9 * The alcohol mix drinks are pretty good. Definitely taste the flavor of each. Will give you a good kick.

The bbq pulled beef over homemade biscuits was topped with a spectacular mustard sauce with two perfect eggs and a side of sweet potato waffle-fries sprinkled with cinnamon, cayenne, and sugar... You guessed it, I ate the whole thing! My husband had the beet salad topped with blackened chicken, which he raved about the whole time we were there. I highly recommend this restaurant, it is small and cozy with a unique ambience, great service with a smile, quite loud, but worth the wait!

We ended up sitting outside because they didn't have seating available. Ended up waiting 34 minutes after ordering to remind the waitress to check on our food. She let us know it's going to be another 15-20 minutes because the kitchen was backed up. Which is pretty wild because all we ordered was burgers and fries. All in all we waited for our food for about an hour. Should have called beforehand to price check it because it's 100% not worth the price. Should have just cooked out on the bbq. I ordered the "Hot Mess" burger because it had decent reviews. The burger was decent size with a tiny portion of fries on the side. The service was mediocre, felt like the waitress / bartender was just damage controlling the small amount of tables in the entire establishment. On top of it all the ice tea was too sweet, we exchanged it for a water and still got charged. Overall, would not recommend, it was an absolute waist of money and time.

We were finally able to stop into RUMCOW on Grace Street in Wilmington this weekend!…read more We had a reservation. We were seated within a couple of minutes. Our server Ava knew the menu and read the table well. No overselling, no scripted recitations. She just took care of us. Thanks Ava. The Blackened Chicken Breast came with basmati rice, seasonal vegetables, black bean salsa, and a chipotle cream sauce that worked harder than it had any right to. The flavors didn't compete. They really settled into each other. The Rumcow Salad, loaded with mixed greens, carrot, tomato, onion, cucumber, and wonton strips, we ordered topped with shrimp. It was sharper and more interesting than we had expected. It's a newer spot in Wilmington, and it shows. In The Best Sense. We'll be back for sure!

We've been to Rumcow many times over the years and always enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive, and we started the evening with a bottle of Cambria Katherine's Vineyard Chardonnay (2023), which was a nice way to begin dinner. Unfortunately, the food this time around just didn't live up to what we remember. We started with the Asian Tots, which used to be one of the best items on the menu. In the past, the peanut sauce was poured over the top so everything came together as one dish. Now it's served in a small cup on the side, and there isn't enough of it to properly coat the tots. They also stopped finishing the dish with the salt they used to sprinkle on top, and even the presentation has changed -- the silver dome they once used is gone. What used to be a great appetizer has been reduced to something that's simply okay. For the main courses, the results were mixed but mostly disappointing. My blackened chicken was a little overcooked. My wife ordered the miso salmon, and that was overcooked as well -- which is especially noticeable with fish. When salmon goes past the sweet spot it quickly becomes dry, and that seemed to be the case here. None of the food was terrible, but none of it really stood out either. Dessert didn't help much. I ordered the carrot cake, but what arrived looked more like a small cupcake buried under a heavy amount of icing, with a large mound of whipped cream on the side. There wasn't much actual cake there, and it wasn't what I expected from a carrot cake dessert. One thing that stood out during the meal is that it feels like the kitchen may be constantly adjusting dishes -- moving sauces, changing presentations, tweaking things that didn't necessarily need fixing. In restaurants, sometimes the best move is to pick a lane and execute it consistently rather than continually modifying dishes that customers already liked. So here's the bottom line. Rumcow is not the Rumcow of yesteryear. Was the food terrible? No. But it was mostly meh, and that may be the most disappointing part. This used to be a place known for memorable dishes and small details done right. Right now it feels like a restaurant that has drifted away from what made it special. The atmosphere and service are still good, but the food just doesn't match the reputation it once had.
