I rarely go to McDonald's, but this one was right on the way and I just wanted a quick bite. For just around $10 we got a cheeseburger and a spicy chicken wrap. The service was fast, and the food was pretty decent. Even the restroom was clean, which is not always the case. But here's what surprised me -- the place was almost empty, yet there was nowhere to sit because almost every table was dirty. You've got like 4 people per hour here, is it really that hard to keep it clean? I can only imagine what it looks like on a busy day when there are hundrends of customers. They forgot apple slices in my daughter's happy meal. They also forgot that there is a monopoly game going on and you can get cards with the game pieces. This place is a joke. Late night traveling through & the staff was so RUDE, refuse to take our order, only the kiosk was available to order, it took 20 minutes to get our food, the order was incorrect, fries were just thrown in the bag & soggy & they then refused to refill our drinks. Staff was cleaning up around us, throwing chairs & complaining about people being in the dining room 30 minutes until close. RUDE!!!!! Will be calling customer service. read more

Listen, I don't usually review fast food places, but this McDonald's is pretty good. We ended up visiting 2 times in 2 days while seeing the Grand Canyon. We don't usually eat McDonald's at all, but I'm a pescatarian and sometimes finding food on the road is a little difficult. (I got the filet o fish) The service is super fast and friendly, even though they were extremely busy both days. The food came out hot and fresh. Ambiance was good since it's been renovated. Came here for breakfast before heading to Grand Canyon. Ordered 3 meals, 2 of which were sausage McMuffin with egg - no cheese. First order had no sausage, returned it. Replacement had no egg. So I went up to the counter and showed them the sandwiches. The guy took those sandwiches, toss them and proceeded to make our sandwiches WITH NO GLOVES! He looks to be either the manager or assistant manager. I was too disgusted that I just walked away with the sandwiches and tossed them in the trash. As I write this, I am listening to a group wondering where their order went as they have been waiting a while. One of them got up to check and found out they have been bypassed. I only saw one person preparing the sandwiches, but someone has to be checking them before handing them to customers. The guy even delivered our order to our table instead of barking out our number. They brought us everything including the ketchup straws and napkin that other Mcd location would miss. We were standing at the counter after 3 employees noticed us and not one acknowledged us. My husband said no cashier? The shift manager comes over to take our order. What can i say about the food, it's McDonald's happy meal and it tasted just the way a McDonald's happy meal is supposed to taste!!! I used the app to get BOGO kids meals, shared with the kiddos and still had some left!!! Oh and they're now coming with THE CUUUUUUTEST mini board games that come in the kid's meals. I am a door dasher, I make my living off of it. when I'm wasting an hour of my time waiting at this store for a $4 order it hurts me. Everytime I've come here I have waited for over 30 minutes for small orders, you walk into a McDonalds and don't get greeted for 10 minutes? wtf is this the airport?? store is terrible and needs new staff, writing this as minute 30 of waiting for my customers food to even be started. if a manager reads this your staff is a failure. read more

But I just had to say service from the manager on duty at 8pm, didn't get his name but was in a blue shirt and tie. Was absolutely amazing and just made me have to give an review. This McDonald's is located off the I-40 freeway so it is very convenient if you are traveling to/from the Grand Canyon to/from Flagstaff or Williams. There is a park a block or so away, so you can have a McD picnic at the park on a nice day. It is also walking distance to the Howard Johnson Hotel, the Grand Canyon Railway (bring your food with you while riding the train to the Grand Canyon) and Route 66. I would personally try one of the local cafe's on Route 66, but McDonald's is always a favorite for the kids. We ate here for breakfast on our way to Sedona after spending the night in Williams at the Howard Johnson (read my review of the hotel). Only 1 self ordering kiosk was working, but the were people at the registers taking orders. The manager was either interviewing or training some new staff. She was focused on ordering the employees on the cleanliness of the restaurant as there were a bunch of flies in the restaurant that morning. The manager could be heard telling the employees to sweep the floors because she can see fries on the floor and it was breakfast and fries were not served for breakfast, meaning that the fries were from the day or days before. She also had the employees wipe down all the tables and windows/sills. Food came out fast and was accurate with appropriate temperature. I gave this McDonald's 3 stars because of the broken Kiosks, the unusually high amount of flies (most likely due to lack of cleanliness) and being able to hear the manager ordering the employees to clean, but not follow up and checking if the area was clean (still saw fries underneath the bench seating after an employee attempted to sweep under). Overall, it's a McDonald's, so you know what you will be getting interns of food. read more

Awesome customer service. Our fries felt a bit over cooked and the guy there, I think he was the night shift manager made sure to remake them for us with light salt as we requested. He made sure that we were happy with the new batch before going back in. I wish I knew his name. He was awesome and should be given a raise for being such an amazing employee. MC Donald's. First of all, it's McDonalds, so this is in comparison to other fast food. I'm not suggesting it needs a shot at a Michelin rating. I'm just saying that the food was in line with McDonalds standards and that Rico, the person who served us, was awesome. He was the epitome of customer service. I've never been to another McDonalds that was so crazy busy, jam packed with people and with a massive wait. Now I understand that part of that might be due to volume of visitors - but somehow everyone else manages - I don't know, more staff perhaps? I saw people just jammed in the drive through going nowhere the entire time I was there.. and I eventually gave up and left before I even got served - so the food might be great, but I'll never know - and I'm writing this review so that if you are thinking about 'fast food' this certainly is NOT the place to get it fast, if ever. read more

I know what you're thinking, but hear me out. This place was a breakfast blessing, truth to tell. We'd gotten our rental car jump-started after the batter died, and we were cold and hungry. My friends and I, when we are together, seem to have a collective weakness for McDonald's breakfasts. Their lights were off, but we knew they were opening soon, so we drove into the drive-thru and parked at the window and waited. 6am hit, and they were not ready. HOWEVER! Bless their hearts, they took our order and let us pay. Being the first customers of the morning and being the first to sip their orange juice, munch their hashbrown and bite into their sausage egg McMuffin was bliss. It was phenomenally good. I'm sure there's an additive or chemical reason for the addictive ways of McDonald's breakfast, but we chocked it up to new oil for the deep-frying ways of magical McDonald's breakfast. Seriously, folks, why doesn't McDonald's do All Day breakfasts already? Probably because evening oil is not as good as morning oil? I 'm not sure.
