I arrived at 8:15PM, Feb.15,2025. I bought four McChickens for our dinner and my next morning breakfast. The machine didn't spill any receipt, the guy just confirmed I already ordered four McChickens, I just had to wait, which was fine. There was no customer inside, only two cars waited on the drive thru passage.

The cheese that stuck to the wrapper. It's almost the whole slice.

It was busy when I entered. I dont usually use a kiosk unless I'm forced to. I hate them as much as I hate self checkout at the grocery store, but it was busy, so I placed my order. Apparently I forgot to up the coffee size for my husband's meal but put in the number of sugars for a large, so I had to place another order. Since my son decided he wanted sausage burritos, I made it a meal. That made three meals purchased: two of the double sausage-burrito meals and one steak bagel meal. I ordered the coffees with sugars for all and cream in one. I assumed they would all have the items inside and be stirred. I assumed wrong. The sugar was a clump at the bottom of my cup and I had to get a straw to stir it. My coffee was weak, so my cream and sugar were too much. Odd though, because I have ordered my McDonald's coffee the same way since 2009 and this is the second time it's been as weak as dishwater, the first being yesterday morning in California. Standards are important. Consistency is why restaurants like McDonald's are successful. Lose consistency and you lose your market share. I love the steak, egg, and cheese bagel. It's my favorite breakfast at this chain. This one did not impress me at all. The bagel was blackened around the entire rim and there was a burnt spot on the side. The cheese was stuck to the wrapper and I had to restack it to have everything in the sandwich instead of hanging out the sides. The meat was salty, too salty. The cheese, as I mentioned was attached to the inside of the wrapper. The egg was boring and the sauce was shared between the sandwich and the bag's cheese. It was the driest most blah bagel ever made at McDonald's. I looked for the hash browns and there was only 1. Three meals and we got one hash brown? Seriously, I could have eaten at a diner for less than the $42 and change we paid here for breakfast for three and got what I ordered. The restroom was clean, so that is one star. The counter staff was nice enough, so that is the other star. The food gets zero stars. I will be getting my coffee at Love's for the next few days on this road trip. McDonald's you owe me at least 2 hash browns.

Well you know a bout to! If you need a MDs fix and my husband did. Had a fish sandwich and fries. If we are back in town we will visit again.

Only drive thru was open, not the lobby. The outdoor seating is really great!! Lots of tables and you can park your car right next to it. I love that set up. I had a Big Mac and my dog had the McDouble.

Super fast service and really good sweet tea

Listen, I don't usually review fast food places, but this McDonald's is pretty good. We ended up visiting 2 times in 2 days while seeing the Grand Canyon. We don't usually eat McDonald's at all, but I'm a pescatarian and sometimes finding food on the road is a little difficult. (I got the filet o fish) The service is super fast and friendly, even though they were extremely busy both days. The food came out hot and fresh. Shout out the the management and people working for keeping this place running smooth when you are slammed.

Quick stop on our way to the Grand Canyon!

I got an iced nonfat Copper State (caramel and cinnamon?) latte. I like that their iced drinks go up to 32oz and their menu clearly states how many shots are in each size. The menu has a good variety with both food items and drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies, sodas, etc.). This was our last stop before hitting the road back to Vegas, and it was strong and tasty. There aren't a ton of coffee options in town but it's easy to see why this is the favorite.

Brewed Awakenings was really doing the business the day we came with a line out the door. The drive-thru line snaked on forever too. My husband and I decided to get a simple coffee and a pastry to go so we wouldn't have to wait. The very, very sweet cashier misunderstood me asking about a bear claw (maybe she didn't know what it was?) and steered me towards something else with almonds. It wasn't my first choice but ended up tasting pretty good. I was just impressed by how kind and nice she was even though there were so many people waiting to order.

I had a smoky old fashioned to start my night and I kept going back to how great it smelled and how smooth the taste was. I chose to have it with their own house bourbon. Food wise, we went with their Canyon Tacos and shared an order of tots. The frybread was crispy and pillowy, the meat was very well seasoned and the pickled red onion really brought the whole dish together. The tots were nice and crispy without being too oily. The place itself was like walking into Williams itself. Lot of wood and mountain core decor with a small creek/wishing fountain. The front part of the place is where you'll find their gift shop. There is also some games upstairs. And they sell their beers and spirits. This is a great place to spend a few hours.

Every single time I come in here, the food has another dollar added to the price, or.. heaven forbid you want French fries with your cheeseburger. You can absolutely forget about it, it's al a carte my boy. That is French for- that'll be an extra 6$. Also, their "avacado" for an additional 3$ is nothing more than a prison spoon scoop full of mashed up avocado spread on to one bun about as thick a Peasley Pubic hair. Lastly, you'd think for how much they charge, you would be able to eat your food without expiring in sweat or needing goggles for my brow being absolutely drenched trying to eat my 26$ cheeseburger al a carte. Thanks guys, I also had to hit the bathroom directly on the way out. BTW - you need a plumber to come out the toilets barely flush! And I will finish with this. I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.

I walked into Fred Harvey expecting the usual sad hotel buffet vibes--lukewarm mystery meats and…read moreregret--but instead, I got pleasantly schooled. This place is surprisingly decent, and in buffet land, that's basically a Michelin star. Breakfast? Solid. Dinner? Also solid. They're pulling double duty like a champ without breaking a sweat. The bread is fresh-baked and dangerously addictive (I may have committed carb crimes). The pasta station had me twirling happiness, and the omelette station was flipping out perfect custom creations without judgment. But let's be real: the true MVP was the soft serve. That creamy, dreamy swirl machine had me acting unwise. I went back for thirds and zero shame. Shoutout to the staff--they're genuinely nice and accommodating, like they actually enjoy their jobs. Rare as a perfectly cooked buffet egg. Whether you're fueling up before a day of whatever you do in this area or winding down with dinner, Fred Harvey delivers without the usual side of disappointment. Pro tip: Leave room for the soft serve. Trust me. I'm basically a professional now. Would return. Might marry the soft serve machine. 1 Star - Fred Harvey Gift Shop: Where the Souvenirs Are Fine, But the Racism Is Vintage I came for some overpriced keychains and maybe a magnet to remember my surprisingly decent meal at the attached Fred Harvey restaurant. What I got instead was a masterclass in selective hospitality from an old white-haired lady behind the counter who clearly moonlights as the neighborhood gatekeeper. First incident: Restaurant's closing, gift shop too. My son lags a few steps behind (you know, kid stuff), so we're casually browsing while waiting. Out comes the yell: "We're closed!" I politely explain we're just waiting for him. "You need to get out." Cool, cool. Right then, a white lady and her daughter stroll up. Same situation--waiting for hubby. Suddenly it's all "Oh ok dear, no problem! Take your time!" The contrast was so stark I nearly got whiplash. Round two, breakfast the next day. We actually wanted to buy stuff this time. Walk straight from the restaurant (it's connected!) into the shop. Another white lady enters from outside. "Darling, we're closed." She says she'll just grab a couple things--boom, "Ok that's fine!" Then my son swings around the corner and it's instant yelling: "WE ARE CLOSED! You can't buy anything!!" I jump in: "We came from the restaurant, we were already in here." Her response? A legendary "SO!" My white friend (who could pass for Latin) had to step in and point out the obvious double standard before she grudgingly let us shop. At that point? Zero desire to give her a single dollar. I wanted to vault the counter and test if that hair was a wig, but I'm a lady who respects her elders--even when they don't respect basic decency. For context: My kids are half Black, half Spanish. Beautiful, polite, and just trying to buy some tourist junk like everyone else. The racism was so blatant it ruined what should've been a harmless five-minute transaction. The shop itself? Meh souvenirs. The experience? 1 star and a lifetime of side-eye. Racism is alive and well in the gift shop, folks. Skip it unless you enjoy vintage prejudice with your postcards. Would not return. Might mail the manager a mirror instead. I would be giving the restaurant a 5 star review for the amazing service and pretty impressive buffet experience, but the gift shop ruined that guys.
