I am crestfallen to report that the Bains have sold this location to a new owner who wasted no time in raising menu prices dramatically, about 30% on meal items. To start things off, the food was very cold which was probably because i sat there and waited for it for over 45 minutes while the staff stood there making themselves milkshakes and delivering food to people that have been here for literally five minutes. and to add on the place was disgusting even though the manager walked around "cleaning" and making no progress what so ever to make the place tidy while she could've been making the food that she saw me pay for about an hour ago. overall experience, terrible. read more

This is our local McDonalds. We go there out of sheer convenience. This is also the last straw. For at least the last two years they've gotten our order wrong 8 out of 10 times, and that's no hyperbole. I write to corporate and they say "Sorry, we will talk to the team." I call to complain and get the same exact answer from their manager who is a nice person, but nothing ever changes. They habitually either leave out food that I paid for and the. expect me to go back to get it, or they give me something completely wrong. I'm not asking for anything special. I'm literally just ordering off of their menu. No additional requests. Last week I ordered a Big Mac meal and a McChicken. They completely forgot the McChicken and gave me my Big Mac with two middle buns instead of a bottom bun, thereby causing it to be an unwieldy mess. This morning my wife and I ordered two Sausage Egg and Cheese biscuits. Wise to their dysfunction, I looked into the bag to check before pulling out. Yep. They're labeled correctly. We get on the road, open them, and they're both Bacon Egg and Cheese biscuits. How? It's even labeled right yet still wrong. By my estimation I've easily been had for about 100 bucks this year alone. I am appalled by the behavior of the staff. I was in the car with my son when we pulled up to the first window. We were met with a man with a scruffy beard and were greeted with "hey hey hey welcome to Mc donalds" which I know for a fact is not what your supposed to say. He produces to ask my son if he wants whip cream, he says yes and as he's handing it over, since there was whip cream coming out of the top, he was enthused to tell us "sorry for the titty nipple on the top!" Excuse me what. He proceeded to blatantly curse infront of my CHILD like it was nothing serious. I am absolutely disgusted this is not okay at all please correct his behavior. read more

Pulled up to the drive-thru the other night. There were about 4-5 other cars in front of me, and no one was there to take their orders. Customers were getting angry, screeching their tires and driving away. I pulled up to the speaker and still, no one answers. Must've sat there for 5 minutes. Finally, I drove away. As I passed by the front door of the restaurant there were three employees standing out front with the door open. I asked "Are you open?" No one would answer. About 15 seconds later, a guy who was standing with them said "Technically, I'm off the clock, so I can't answer that." Great customer service. to be honest i have come here my whole life and they are just so slow and mess up the order all the time. But as of recently i went to dine in with my friends and they said take out only. so i proceeded to order my food on the self serve kiosk, i go to the register to pay with cash and i got completely ignored for 20 minutes. I ended up leaving but on my way out a door dasher was coming to pick up food and they locked them out. completely disrespectful and didn't pay her any mind when she calling asked to pick up the order. McDonald's has always been one of my favorite fast food chains. I have always had good experiences at McDonald's locations across the USA. Which is why I was in shock when I got screamed at and kicked out today. I was just trying to throw out my trash, when an aggressive worker started screaming at me and my friends to leave. We were just trying to enjoy our McDonalds experience, and it was very unprofessional for a worker to do so. I am not going to sue, but I will be giving this location one star for the emotional damage these people have caused me today. I do not recommend this location with young kids. read more

The best McDonald's in the Philadelphia area, in my experience! But it appears that many of you disagree, and have had some bad experiences here, From the other reviews, I see many negative old reviews - before the restaurant was renovated and newly staffed. But there are a number of recent negative reviews; so I can only speak of my own experience: I recently stumbled into this McDonald's a few months ago, with how bright & shiny new the very recent renovations were; it appears they fully gutted, or leveled, the old version of this place. They have everything you'd like in a McDonald's - a modern interior, 4 different digital ordering boards, a nice drink area, and my food has always been served fresh and hot. I'm used to waiting a bit, because the Quarter Pounder is always my go-to sandwich. McDonald's recently upgraded the Quarter Pounder to only use fresh, unfrozen beef, and cooked-to-order. But having a fresh burger is always worth the wait to me, rather than those little frozen, dry patties on a Big Mac or regular burger. I went the other day, and it was almost as if they forgot about me - after I waited for about 15 minutes after placing my order. A huge group of boys were in ordering just before me, so that might be a reasonable excuse. But I was promptly served when I stepped up to the counter with my receipt, and they quickly pushed out my order with an apology from the super-nice restaurant manager lady - they accidentally wiped my order from the menu board, in the flux of the big group before me. So there's that. But this McDonald's is in a great Haddon township location, just off the busy Cuthbert Blvd, and right near a brand new Target shopping plaza. Very easily accessible, right between Collingswood and Haddonfield, and not far off Haddonfield Road. When I need to get my McDonald's fix on, this is exactly where I come each time now. read more

I really miss the play area that used to be here since it brings back some nostalgia of taking my son from when he was 1-3 years old to get breakfast in the mornings. But play areas are a dying commodity in the fast food business. The only place you'll find them nowadays is a Chic-fil-a. Overall, it's just a McDonalds with upgraded technology. I know they're trying to make McDonald's friendly with the little light up vibrating disks you hold onto so they can tell you your order is ready. What they need to understand is that friendliness starts with people. I don't go to McDonald's that often, but this morning I stopped in to place an order and it becomes A back-and-forth with the cashier barking out 1 word commands that I have to answer. I say number three without looking at me "drink" I say coffee again without looking "size" without looking "here to go" without looking and then the price. Maybe it's easier at the drive-through UPDATE: I came in at a slower time a few weeks since they've opened. Not many employees and a lot of dirty tables, even though there's only about four people sitting in the restaurant. They make a production out of giving you numbers for the table to bring out your food, yet there's a number sitting at vacant tables and they're dirty. I'd rather carry my food to a clean table. On the plus side, the atmosphere is really nice, clean, brand new and overlooking the lake. So I'm sure they can toughen up their standards and present them selves as the McDonalds they want to be. read more

Staff is very friendly. Definitely a 360 from when the building first got renovated. Horrible staff with miserable faces and conveniently the shake/sundae machine was always down at 7-8pm. Once in a while we get cold fries now but I would say overall everything goes smoothly and food is good for a fast meal. The woman that makes shakes and sundaes does a fantastic job and always has a smile and a warm hello. If the staff there keeps up the good work I think they should get a bonus or raise. This restaurant was torn down and rebuilt a couple years ago. The new building is terrible. Seating is arranged poorly, and the restaurant is surprisingly small. Entering and exiting the building is dangerous due to traffic pattern. In this area, the best McDonald's is located at 801 Route 38 where the interior renovations are so much better and the management and service are clearly better. read more

Theresa (at breakfast) is the best order taker by far. She has gotten 110% of my orders right, strives for the best, and always makes sure I get the way I ordered. In my opinion, the second drive through line doesn't really add anything for the customer except the potential for a road rage incident because some of these people think they should be served before you even after getting there behind you which makes no logical sense. After your order is taken, the line also moves slowly as a result of there being twice as many meals to distribute. Food quality is inconsistent but I'll keep coming back for convenience and the above average staff. read more

This was the McDonalds that started it all for me. The first McDonals I ever went to as a child and I blame it for starting the love affair. As a child I craved this place more than any other food. I grew up and I'm still guiltily enjoying their food. Shame on McDonalds for marketing unhealthy and addicting food to children! I am another victim. Visited again this week on a trip home for Xmas and was pleased to see it still was serving good McDonalds food. Kinda slow through the drive thru, so I gave it only four stars. Nothing too crazy, if you have kids they have a play area that is inside. There's a regular bunch of older people that congregate here in the morning. If you're in a rush for breakfast, going inside vs. doing drive through is the way to go. For whatever reason, prices are a little lower here than at some of the other locations, like Voorhees. read more

I don't have any problem with the food..the food is average for a McDonald's. The problem I have is with the extremely RUDE woman working there. I was here around 1:30 pm with my daughter and her friend. My daughter proceeded to file her nails under the table quietly while she was waiting for someone. The overweight woman, blonde. Wearing a grey McDonald's sweatshirt came over and said to my daughter "you can't do your nails in here. It's a sanitary issue. Also are you waiting for someone" which was not that rude but she said it in a rude tone. i am extremely dissatisfied. first of all, i had gotten a medium mocha frappe, only to get it half frappe half whipped cream. when i went back into the restaurant to notify the workers of this issue, i was told repeatedly that it was not a small it was a medium. when i explained the amount of frappe on the cup was the same amount in a small or even less, i was told that the whipped cream had "melted" when that's how it looked exactly when i got it and i had not even put a straw in it. Yes this place is slower than the average McDonald's, but that is not the major issue. When using the app. I changed my location to this restaurant and the price went from $41 to $52 for the same order. I changed to twi other locations within 5 miles and they were all around $41 or $42. There is no way this location cost anymore to run and it is the slowest of the 4 locations by far. Went thru the drive thru and ordered a 10 piece nugget entree not the meal and a large cup of water as I have done at many McDonald's. She says my total and it was just for the nuggets. I go to the window and get told by this lady that I'm going to be charged for the water. I told her it's illegal in NJ to charge for a cup of water.
