My first time coming to this location. Didn't go thur drive in decide to stay and eat. I used the kiosk to order my food it was quick and easy I paided cash. When it was time for me to pay at the register I had to wait awhile no employee was at the register they where in the back and I was the only person paying cash. I didn't like the fact it wasn't crowded I shouldn't have been waiting more than 3 minutes to pay for my meal. I ordered the 2 for $6.00 sausage, egg and cheese Mcmuffin the food was prepared quicker than me paying for it. It was nice and hot tasted good. The tables was nice and clean I like the establishment. I didn't give 5 stars because the wait time paying for my food. read more

I usually do not go to this Mcdonald's but decided to go with my brother after we were influenced on Tiktok to get the Minecraft meals. I got the minecraft kids meal which is a 6 piece, small fries, chocolate milk and the apple slices and honestly this is the perfect size for me. We ordered on the app and despite it being busy, we had no issues getting our food and everything was perfect. No sauces missing and no order messed up. The food was hot as well. It all was good and the toy was cute lol. I also recommend the new flame sauce if you like some spice it was great! Overall I'd come back to this location read more

Hi Friends. I'm so happy to find an old school McDonalds! This neighborhood McDonald's is warm and welcoming with real Golden arches and REAL folks to take your orders.( Don't use the robot kiosk) .. This Mickey D's is A retro throw back to the 70's. I love it. I sat at the windowside counter located at the front of this MD's Here you can relax and enjoy checking out the people stuck in traffic. Really like that old style counter. The food was freshly cooked as I ordered, wonderful. The fries insanely crispy and hot, everything was perfectly consistent and on point. Time to eat! I don't enjoy McDonald's as often as in my youth. So I was Soo looking forward to my freshly cooked Mickey D's lunch. Yes, my lavishly delicious lunch was everything that I expected it to be. I'm loving it.. a Classic McDonald's with meal specials at budget prices (2 big Macs) for $6 bucks! If I was in college still, I would have ordered a dozen. Hahaha. This is the closest McDonald to me and what i will say is that the food is good but the service there is terrible. Most of the time it is really busy inside and the drive thru is worse there is always a line at the drive thru and sometimes they mess up my order. Consistently terrible drive-in service-oftentimes amazingly slow (I usually only stop by late at night when no one's there to avoid the waits). Time-after-time, they get your order wrong. Not to mention the general shadiness regardingMcDonalds' fries and how it's apparently physically impossible to fill one of those containers appropriately. First and foremost this McDonald's always overcharges. Any special you see advertised in the media will be at least $1 more here. Additionally they currently won't allow you to pick and choose which items from their 2 for 6 promotion you want (2 for 7 here). They force you to buy two of the same item. The drive through is usually long and they usually ask you to pull off to the side to wait for your order. Don't go inside to avoid the line, it won't matter. Don't come here if you're on tight time constraint. If you have special requests it depends on the time of day on whether or not they'll get it right. Weekday, daytime, non lunchtime, after school or rush hours are your best bet. Yes, they charge extra for sauces. The inside remodel is nice and clean but that's the extent of superlatives I have for this location. Overall it's not the worst franchise location in the general area (the 365 Rockaway Turnpike holds that distinction) but you'd be better off elsewhere like the BK on Merrick road or the Green Acres Mall food court. read more

When I went back to the counter for a remake I got the triple but with about half a teaspoon of onion and a single slice of pickle, which wouldn't be enough even without a special request. As a member of the service industry I am usually very patient. I waited 40 minutes for a Big Mac Meal in the Drive Thru Reserved Spot. Never once was I acknowledged. I called the store and nicely explained that I had been waiting a while for my meal and was hung up on. I drove back through the drive thru, and the employee was very nice. The drive through is ALWAYS slow. They mess up your orders more often then not. Their prices are higher than other stores in the area. The employees are disinterested in the customers. The drive-through window has a one way decal that blocks the employee from view and they close it on you while you are being served. If you park in their lot, they have a tow company that will boot you if you step off the property even for a moment. Definitely one of the worst managed stores I have ever seen. read more

I will have to admit with other reviewers that the drive thru line is probably one of the worst that I have been to. The employees are friendly, but I feel like the drive thru is unorganized as they continually give you the wrong order and you have to correct them or you could end up with someone else's food. I haven't been in McDonald's in years, I read about them trying out fresh meat, not frozen for their quarter pounders, so I wanted to try it out. I was not disappointed with the quality of the quarter pounder. Comparing the value to other restaurants, it's way better. I give the quarter pounder my personal highest score of 4 stars, my 5 stars is only reserved for above and over the top experience, but the drink and condiments area was filthy and needs to be cleaned and maintained, 1 stars for that, so I give them a total of 3 stars. The drinks and condiments area shouldn't be in an area where the employees can't see it. I've seen kids come in this location and mess around with the drinks and condiments because they can't be seen messing with it. read more

I never imagined in my life that I would write a review of any McDonalds, because come on, it's McDonalds. It's pretty much all the same. It's fast food, it's cheap, it's kind of gross but you love it. Why would I write a Yelp review? But I do have to say something about the employees at this particular location because they really amazed me recently. Last week someone's car broke down IN the drive-thru line. (I can't even imagine the nightmare if that was me.) Now that scenario alone would give any employee reason to be in a bad mood that day, but on top of it, this happened during the lunch rush and it was very hot outside. But the McDonalds employees rallied! There was a poor guy running around the parking lot in the heat directing traffic into the drive-thru from the side of the parking lot (going around the car that was blocking the entrance). He also had a tablet and was taking orders from the parking lot to help speed up the process. If I was him, I'd have been in a terrible mood but he was so friendly and almost cheerful (probably fake cheer, but hey, who would blame him it was hot and sunny out and a totally stressful scenario - but he totally kept himself together). The woman in the drive-thru window was also very friendly, even though I'm sure she wasn't having a great day due to this. I witnessed other customers giving the staff attitude and one woman got out of her car where she was waiting for her order to complain about what was taking so long. (Just then someone emerged holding like 5 milkshakes or something, so um, that explains it, haha.) After that kind of stress I'd have completely understood if the staff was starting to lose their cool, but they were so nice about everything and seemed really apologetic even though someone's car breaking down in the drive-thru is literally not their fault. There was a slight delay in getting my food to me so I had to pull forward and wait about two minutes, but honestly, it wasn't much longer than I've experienced at other fast food drive-thrus on a normal day. I'm pretty sure I've waited longer at Wendy's for no explainable reason, so this was completely acceptable. Everything in my order was correct and cooked properly as well. Now, maybe the service and food isn't always 1000% amazing, but it's McDonalds, what do you expect? The employees make close to minimum wage and customers treat them like garbage, so if that was your work situation, you'd probably mess up occasionally too. But I think you can really judge a place by how they handle a crisis and so I had to come onto Yelp and write a review of McDonalds like a weirdo to compliment how they handled this situation. I can think of a lot of really expensive restaurants that would not have handled a similar crisis nearly as well, or with nearly as much class. Now before I comment on why this place received two stars let me first say the employees are cool the food was hot and fresh no complaints. Now on to what I witnessed about two hours ago: I went in with my son and it was fairly empty I would say 7 costumers including us. Most who had already ordered. So a employee who was supposed to be tending the register wasn't there due to miscommunication no problem. Another employee who was also a cahsier told him to take our order. He came and he was very cool took our order 25sec we were done. Now about 5 mins later while I was defending myself from a barrage of karate moves my son was hitting me with and next thing I know I hear some commotion behind the register and this black lady who was clearly the manager starts to rip into him in front of the customers about staying at the register and she is clearly trying to make an impression in front of a older guy who was just as upset as I was. Now I own businesses and one thing you don't do is yell at your employees and definitely not in front of customers. That was very unprofessional of her and that is not how you boost employee morale. If I really felt for the kid who looked nomore than 17-18. I don't know how she got her position but It has bothered me since. read more

The staff is very nice here but the service .... I said the service is horrible!!! The long waits on the drive thru line is ridiculous!!! I'm sure we can all agree. Theres always a car in the drive thru line that had to pull over bc of slow service or giving out the right food items!!! The mangers look like they don't have a clue! One of the mangers was asking a new employee where was the French fry button on the menu........No one smiles and greets you. There's only one person on the register at all times. You might get lucky and have two on the register! There's a total of four registers if you include the drive thru computer. There's always a broken machine !! Never a certain soda... because the machine is broke.... you want ice cream... guess what... that machine is broke too. The overall seating sucks because you are viewing cars on sunrise driving pass and watching you eat. The other side by the bathroom you are facing a gym.... making you feel guilty about the food your eating (lmao) . The kids that work there are sweet. The management is horrible. read more
