Passing through on 4/26 at about 11am and stopped to get a coffee and a Mocha Latte. Went through drive through to place order and we were told the machine was down and opted for another cup of coffee instead of Mocha. When we got our drinks the coffee was super cold. I had to walk in for refund and as I was standing there waiting I witnessed employees on their cell phones, drinking soda, and eating food. I know for a fact this is not acceptable in the areas where food is being handled! Who knows is they use proper hand washing requirements after touching cell phones. I am new to the area and tried to come in to have lunch one day around 2 o'clock. Nobody was working the front. They just had the kiosks open, which is fine given that they are busy and cleaning during that time I'm a restaurant person so I understand. However, I only had cash which presents an issue with the kiosk. Someone did come over and offered to take my order at the front desk. Great. I got the food. They called my name twice I went and got the food the first time and my burger was deplorable. That's all I can say I've eaten McDonald's my whole life and I am 55 years old and that was the worst burger I've ever had from McDonald's. I got fries and a drink. Fries were Cold. Upon being at home and wanting to order some food again being new to the area and not knowing much and working a lot of hours I ordered McDonald's to be delivered. I could not use my app at certain offers with this particular McDonald's, which was frustrating. I finally ended up only ordering a cheeseburger plain and a small fry. It took over an hour, and then some for the order to even be "on its way" And in my head, I knew that it would be horrible and cold by the time it got here, even though I was giving them a second chance to redeem themselves. I canceled the order because after an hour and 15 minutes I no longer wanted it. It had been in the person's car for at least 45 minutes. I never got reimbursed. They took the points off of my app and I am hideously disappointed I will not be back do better. read more

Be careful when going to this McDonald's. Terrible service and only the guy that was asking for the order was fine. After they gave us our bag of food, 4 out of 9 items were missing; they also told us that our order was done in the drive thru. This happened to us before so we parked on the parking lot to check our food, and again the items were missing. We had to go back out of our car and ask for our items and they just gave us the bag and didn't even say sorry for the inconvenience. read more

My experience here was with the drive-thru, and it was a pleasant experience. They were patient at the ordering point when it took us more than a few seconds to make up our minds, and we had no problems with payment or pick-up. The food was fresh and hot. The biggest issue here is the parking lot, its overlap with the drive-thru area, and that sharp turn you have to make just before you get to the ordering point. Watch for people walking to/from their cars! read more

I am saddened to have to leave such an awful review of a usually consistent/huge and well-loved company that is universally known.... McDonald's. We came in tonight at 7:30pm.. a quiet Sunday evening in Truckee ,Ca. First off, the bathrooms were disgusting and a complete mess. No toilet paper, feces in the stall garbage can??!!! and just dirty everywhere. I ordered a regular hamburger, big Mac, McChicken , small fry, coffee and vanilla shake. The big Mac had paper thin and very!! dry meat, the cheese was not melted.. Same from the chicken. The chicken patty tasted hours old ,was cold and very very dry. Ugh. Really?? Small fry was TINY . The only saving grace was our vanilla shake and coffee. Thank goodness those were the standard! For just over $20 , I was so upset leaving there having had the worst McDonald's food ( and higher priced than most) we've ever eaten in our lives. Not kidding nor exaggerating. It was awful :( :( So bummed.. Needless to say we will not be back at this particular location ever again. It was not only dirty but the food was the worst :( read more

We frequent this McDonalds a couple times a month since my little kids love getting a happy meal but that is all we usually order. The fries are always cold and flavorless (except for one time) and we always go during lunch time when there is a good amount of people there hence food should be fresh. They constantly get our order wrong and either don't give us condiments even when we ask multiple time or just give us the wrong ones. I have found better service going in to the restaurant but that isn't easy with two little kids. The drive thru workers tend to always sound pissed off when taking your order or will say order when ready and then just won't listen to you and tell you to wait. We will continue to go back as the quality of food doesn't seem to bother my kids but don't expect anything special here. read more

If the door says 7am, I expect McDonalds to open at 7am. We were told at drive thru (drive thru signs says drive thru opens at 6am) that the sit down area and restrooms open at 8am. They need to update their door signs and yelp info with the correct hours so that people aren't standing outside waiting to be let in. read more

Pulled up to the first window and she was sticking her head out the window and told me that I should have informed her I was using a mobile code. Tried to take my friends kid here for a quick drive through order. The Associate answering the drive through window was so exceptionally rude to me that I refused to complete my order. I know it was intense for her as I was being super friendly and polite, just trying to ask for a chicken sandwich, plain with cheese for the kid. She was so short and curt with me I was shocked. I live here locally, I am not a "Karen", just a regular local trying to order a kids lunch. I was able to speak to the Manager who was friendly and polite. She thanked me for my comments. If I could give a negative number I would. Ordered 2 mcChickens, large fry, large drink and a #5 medium. Got our order and no McChicken...at the price of the order it never occurred to me that my order was rung up wrong, though it was repeated back to me correctly. So when we noticed it was incorrect I went to the kiosk and ordered the missing items because it had gotten busy. Fries were unsalted and cold, nuggets were cold and now we had to wait for our sandwiches to be delivered. We ended up having to walk up to the register to get items that were supposed to be delivered only to receive Luke warm sandwiches. While eating I our disgusting food I went to ask the managers name and the register person did not want to give it to me. How dare the cashier assume because of my skin color I don't speak Spanish. While here we noticed 2 of 3 exits are blocked by trash cans and when a customer ask them not to block them because it was against fire code they argued with them. And the staff wants $19 an hour to make crappy food and violate safety code. Needless to say we won't be back. read more

Atmosphere - Very modern McDonald's and looked great. Food Drink - Mocha, wow was it sweet. Perhaps I drink too much black coffee now. Breakfast - My McDonald's downfall is the Egg McMuffin with Sausage, I had two. Probably the best ones I ever had. The English muffins were fresh and toasted with a crisp insides. The sausage patty had the mild spice but was still moist. The egg was cooked well. The sandwich, each part was excellent, together was poorly made into a sandwich. But boy it did hit the spot. Service - What you expect from McDonald's. The register area could have been cleaner. Someone was rude and did their creamers and sugars right where they provide you with your food but the staff did not take care of the problem. Future - Sure but hope not to. read more

But there's another guy that had a blue shirt on young Mexican man and he was super rude to me, saying why are you looking at me? He repeated like 5 times very aggressive! I didn't say anything. Worst customer service ever! It was super hot in Truckee on the afternoon of July 25th. We walked up to the counter and asked how much their sundaes were and the (male) worker said in a super snarky tone, "We don't have any today." I said, "Ice cream? You don't have ice cream?" He said with this gnarly grin, "no, not today." Then in a sarcastic tone, "Can I get you something else?" I looked at him and said, "NOPE."
