Came here after seeing a family member at the nearby emergency room. Prices are a bit elevated for a McDonald's given the remote nature of the area. However they have a deal at the drive-through where there's a mix and match McDouble or McChicken for about $4, not too bad. I ordered a bare McChicken for later consumption and it was made as requested. The McDouble came as ordered also - extra onions! It was hot and didn't taste stale. Always a plus. The icing on the cake (and arteries) was...the McDouble was really just a double cheese burger. That's right- TWO slice of processed American cheese for the price of a burger that normally only has one slice! I can't give 5 stars out of principle for the gouged prices that exploit this rural area. But if you want fast and still somewhat cheap, this isn't a bad place to stop. read more

I went there last year on the way to Vermont and the service was slow and bad. I decided to stop this year thinking that it was a fluke last year and I'll give them another try. The service was actually worse and the ice machine was broken. I was warning people as I was leaving that you're going to be waiting a long time for your order. Avoid this place unless you want to wait 30-45 minutes for them to get your order wrong. What a poorly run establishment which most of Mcdonald's are. They have to be losing money nationwide which they deserve. I will avoid this place and advise others to do so as well. read more

First, if I could give negative stars I would I am 64 years old and this was my worst experience in a McDonald's in my life. STAY AWAY from this McDonld's. I went inside and ordered my food thru the kiosk because I have in other McDonald's and in all my other times I would have my food in under 5 minutes. Not this time....after waiting for almost 10 minutes I went up to the counter where it was at least 5 minutes before someone said "Someone will be with you in a minute." Almost 20 minutes later still no one came over. 2 drive thru customers came in because both their orders were wrong. they waited about 10 minutes and 1 left totally disgusted. The other person finally yelled to get some service and someone came over and corrected his order. I was able to grab their attention and ask about mine and after another 10 minutes she came over with mine. She brought it over but an item was missing. No apology no nothing except for her to tell me she only had 3 people in the kitchen and she was trying to get ready for lunch. WTF!!! You have breakfast going on and you're worrying about lunch. The last time I was here was several years ago but now that I'm in Yelp I have to share. This may be the cleanest, friendliest McDonald's I have ever been to. I'm usually a Wendy's guy but the closest one is an hour away. The staff here is truly patient and amazing. At breakfast there was a bug eyed older guy ordering a sausage biscuit and he wanted it extra crispy. It's not like they're making the biscuits fresh but they went through ALL the biscuits to find him the darkest one. When I came back for dinner it was the same thing. He was there getting ice cream and he wanted an extra crispy waffle cone. Again, the staff was very accommodating. I know they say "have it your way" at Burger King but they don't hold a candle to this McDonald's. read more

I stopped here at lunchtime on a Tuesday in February. This is the only McDonalds in the area without having to drive to Warrensburg, so I was expecting a little bit of a wait with the local lunch crowd. I used the drive-thru and placed a custom order. There were 2 vehicles in front of me and some customers inside. Both windows were open, which is even hard to find in some of the more densely populated areas. I paid and received my order within maybe 2 or 3 minutes. My order was 100% correct, and the food was hot and fresh. The employees at both windows were friendly, efficient and worked quickly. Although I did not go inside, the outside appearance was clean, kept up, and no garbage laying around. Despite recent heavy snow and significant ice, the parking lot was cleared, dry, and free of ice. The parking lot was better than some of the local roads. This is one of the better McDonalds I've been to. read more

I havent been to this place in over 4 years, but decided to order a quarter pounder and snack wrap for lunch to split with my daughter. The quarter pounder tasted fresh and juicy. Upon entering into this mcdonalds I had my normal expectations; so as not to get my hopes up. Immediately stepping into this fine restaurant chain I went back 30 years to the mcdonalds of my youth in Tupper Lake, ny. The floors of the establishment in addition to the urinals (full length to floor) in the men's room have not been updated since the 1960s when this establishment likely opened. The only changes I noticed were the LCD menu screens, flat screen tv displaying a local battlefield reel, and a dyson airblade brand dryer, but likely because the old one broke and they couldn't find the old model to replace it. After an entertaining/annoying wait time of fifteen minutes I was able to place my order. While waiting an additional ten minutes for my food I continued to watch the chaos of serving five customers over a twenty five minute period. The six workers scurried about while avoiding eye contact with everyone waiting, they seemed to be running around like a sworm of bees having their hive being kicked down a hill. To the employees credit: A) the average salary was $8.50/hr (as evidenced by the message board sign outside the establishment looking for new hires) (that should have been a sign to keep driving, but this is the country) B) some of the dumbest questions were asked by customers in front of me including: customer: "excuse me, I ordered a medium fry and I got a large fry!" Employee: "well it's okay, you can just keep that" Customer: "but I wanted a medium fry!" C) while the staff was polite, the service was extremely slow... 25 mins for a 10 piece (?) mcnugget? As to the quality of the food; it was as to be expected. I ordered a ten piece nugget but much to my surprise 5 miles down the road I discovered 8 chicken nuggets and my copilot'a simple meal of two "only ketchup" double cheeseburgers had mustard remnants all over the wrappers, thankfully no allergies here! Overall, I give the food 3 of 5 stars ( -1 star for missing nuggets, -1 star for mustard), and 1 of 5 stars for service, equalling an average of 2 of 5 stars. *Disclaimer: the above rating should only be rated/compared amongst other mcdonalds dining establishments, and not traditional restaurants.
