I only came here because I was staying close by and wanted something quick for dinner. Most of my experience here from start to finish was done without any interaction with an employee. I placed my order on the mobile app and went inside to wait for my food. I only saw an employee when she came out of the kitchen area to give me my food. Look, I didn't go inside but we eat McDonald's on road trips due to it being easy and it appeals to everyone. McDonald's as a whole usually gets something super wrong with our order (it's for 4 people, it is a long order, and we have special requests). We've come to accept that this is just what happens when you go to McDonald's. Fast forward to today, INCREDIBLE!!!! Best drive through experience of my life (no exaggeration). - Everything came as ordered - Polite cheery woman took our order - Fully competent people - Before taking payment a gentleman read back our order with the modifications to make sure correct - Fast - thoughtfully plated our bunless burger without being asked, and provided a drink carrier- also without being asked. Never thought going through a drive-through could be this easy and accurate. I don't know why there are so many terrible reviews.... I'd go out of my way to make St. George a stopping point when coming through Utah just to go here. read more

This McDonald's is by far the worst fast food establishment I've ever visited. They take forever and the service is terrible. Every time you go through the drive through they make you pull forward and park with your tires hanging off of the street into the busy intersection because they want to "complete" your order fast. Then you have to sit there for an extra 10 minutes until they make their workers run food out to you in the street. My mom just went through the drive through for me. Food is decent (it's McDonalds I don't expect a ton) Customer service SUCKED!!! I was on the phone with her the whole time, and the woman at the drive through constantly interrupted her and wouldn't listen to her at all. Then she got to the window and asked to have it repeated again, had to retell her the WHOLE order and reiterate certain parts 3 more times. Then when she got the receipt she went over it and it was missing the bacon, 2 fries, the no mustard portion, and the light onions part. Then when my mom had to re-explain it to the kid at the second window he WALKED AWAY while she was talking and then she finished talking to him about it, he then repeats it all and got half of it wrong AGAIN, then proceeded to walk away A SECOND TIME after she re-explained it again!! That was extremely poor customer service even for McDonalds. We're extremely dissatisfied with the amount of effort it took to just try to get our order right when it could've all been solved if the first lady would've stopped interrupting and actually listened. Felt like a little kid getting all excited with the huge touch screens. Kinda bummed that they only serve breakfast in the morning even though I really wanted some nuggets. Food was standard micky dee deliciousness. The tables and bathrooms were clean and the kid's playground even had rock climbing walls! The place has a nice environment. Definitely one of the fancy McDonalds I've been. There are some good painting and pictures about Utah national parks on the wall. The chairs, tables and lights are all pretty new. Food is OK, typical McDonald's food. Not bad and not great. Main reason I give it a 2 star is the parking lot. At the time we're leaving around 10Pm, some employees taking break were playing and laughing at the parking lot. It gave us a hard time backing up from the spot because we were worried the car might hit them. Not very considerate for the customers. read more
