The place was clean but the lady behind the counter was very rude to her workers. She snapped at at least 3 of them in the 7 minutes I was there. She was mediocre to the customers. It seemed like she gave me a small cup with my meal but I was too stoned to complain. Great location! It's right off I-5 and 5 mins walking distance from where I live. They have 24-hr drive thru. I ordered 3 egg muffins and one with value meal. So, how many egg muffins did I get? I got two! Obviously, the cashier didn't think I deserved 3 egg muffins. When the Arby's down the street failed me in the drive-thru department, I pulled on up to the window at this McDonald's. (It's open 24 hours, don'tcha know.) I was in need of a milkshake. Couldn't really understand what the disembodied voice coming through the menu was saying, but managed to order a small chocolate 'extra-thick' shake and was out of there in about 1 minute flat. 20 minutes and some of my best sucking later, I was finally able to get that bizness out of the straw. I visit this store occasionally when in a hurry, and usually I get a good experience. But today it was Ree-dick-u-lous! My order was simple: a grilled chicken chipotle wrap and a non-fat cappuccino. It took me FIVE tries for the "operator" to get the order correct. When I arrived at the window, he was Mr.. Giggle Pants with the other employees, and gave me my change while cackling , head turned, so of course, the change fell to the ground. My loss of $.52 for his stupidity. Oh, and did I mention the order delivered to me was incorrect? How does "chicken chipotle wrap" translate to "large fries". I hate to admit that I eat at McDonald's but after a long meeting that dulled my brain.. I made my husband take me here to get my sugar level up. This particular location is quite a pain as the turn out is essentially a right turn only. From there, you are right up against the I-5 ramps so your options are limited. I've never step foot inside as I've always been a fan of the drive-thru. The stop today was a bit of an adventure as the gal working the drive-thru didn't speak English too well so we weren't even sure if we would get the order correct (hold the mustard, etc etc.) The food is 90% of the time hot and they never give you lip at the food window over condiments (which some do). They also offer free wifi which is nice is you are in need of that for a laptop or itouch, etc. read more

Alright... What to say about a business that shouldn't be operating in the first place? Keep in mind... I've gone to culinary school, I've been working in the restaurant industry for a decade and I've yet to work behind the counter at ANY fast food joint (save for a short stint as a janitor at a Burger King in Arizona.) So! I go to McDonald's once every six months or so. When I was a kid, McDonald's was a "treat" that my sister and I got to indulge in once a month if my parents had the money (oh, boy, were we dirt poor.) So, every once in a while, I get a bit of a jones for something horribly bad for me. When I go, I tend to go with the Double Quarter Pounder with cheese, large fries and large chocolate shake. All in all, not bad. The "meat" tastes like meat, the fries taste like fries and the chocolate shake tastes like vanilla ice cream that someone has added WAY too much chocolate syrup to (and a cup of sugar for good measure.) The only time I've had a problem with this place (save for the fact that it's full of crap that goes right into my arteries, slowly killing me) was one of the times I went through the drive-thru. Got screwed out of a couple orders of fries (the one time that I was picking up stuff for myself and several roommates.) Oh, well... So, with that, I'll leave you with something a good friend of mine, Leo Getz, once said about drive-thru windows... "Don't ever go up to the drive-thru, ok? Always walk up to the counter. You know why? Ok, ok, ok, ok. They fuck you at the drive-thru, ok? They fuck you at the drive-thru. They know you gonna be miles away before you find out you got fucked, ok? Speed chickens delivered for a day of food indecisiveness. Signature fries that deliver the McGurgles and McPains slightly off as it stopped the pains of hunger. One note of observation is the revelation of the once dollar menu staple being transferred to the two dollar tier. On my lunch on Monday, me and my colleague stopped by to get some ice cream since it was so hot. (70 degrees fahrenheit is hot for Spring in Seattle). Neither of us like cones... Here's how the exchange went: Me (to Daphne): I don't like cones really... Daphne (to me): Me neither Daphne: Can we get two cups of vanilla ice cream? McD Employee: Okay two cups of ice. Is that all? Daphne: No, two cups of ice cream please. McD Employee: I got the ice, is there anything else you want? Daphne: No, we want two ice cream cones, but in cups instead of cones. McD Employee: Okay two cups of ice. Daphne (to me): How do I put this? Daphne: Can we just get 2 orders of ice CREAM in a cup? McD Employee: You want 2 ice cream sundaes? Daphne (frustrated): Okay yeah we'll get those. Me (to Daphne): I don't like chocolate... Daphne (to me): Me neither. McD Employee: Do you want any toppings? Daphne: No, just 2 plain sundaes... We finally get our cups, and yes, we had to pay the price of 2 sundaes for the amount of icecream we would have gotten on 2 cones... And they gave us packets of peanuts so maybe we weren't clear about no toppings? Or maybe McD needs to do a better job of training their employees? read more

Use cash! My total was 16.93 for a large meal and an extra sandwich. Theu charged my card twice. I was told that one would drop off after pending and i thought that would be the case since one was pending 3 days longer than the other charge. Nope. I was charged nearly 33 dollars for one meal and one sandwhich. I am having a difficult time getting through to mcdonalds and will now have to try and dispute the charge with my bank. I live next door and go here more than id like to admit and now wonder how many times ive been double charged without noticing. Tldr... use cash! read more

I go here because the drive thru is open 24 hours and they leave out the raisins in my oatmeal when I tell them to. Other than that, the workers at this location needs to work on checking the order before handing it to the customer, it's happened to me on 5 different occasions within the past few months. As far as I can tell, this is the creme de la creme of local McD's locations. Unlike the downtown or first hill locations, they don't charge you an extra fee for sauces here... not only that, but they've got restrooms that don't require a buzzer or a key attached to a spare tire to get in to... ooh la la! That being said, it's still Mickey D's... so it is what it is. I can't say I eat here much (I've seen Supersize Me) and when I do it's usually around 2:30 in the morning and I'm making my cab driver take me through the drive through after a night on the town... but it fills that niche. Now let me start off by saying McDonalds isn't smart eating, but I do like my nuggets or dollar mcdouble every so often. At first this review would have gotten one star and for good reason. I came to this McDonalds during rush hour. My order was taken correctly and efficiently and I drive up to pay and then the next window, given my drinks and had to wait a few minutes for my food. I get my two bags of food and take off...without checking my bags. BIG MISTAKE!! I had gotten onto I-5 South towards UW and my dad is looking in the bag and asks if I had gotten anything to eat? So I say yeah I got a mighty kids meal! He then says it's not in the bag! Sure enough, it wasn't. And leave it up to the one time I don't check my bag, for my order to be missing one whole $5 meal!! I was way past the exit for 45th street, when I had to turn around and go ALL the way back and get my meal. Now I'm sure you're wondering why I rated this McDonalds five stars? When I got back, I walked inside with my food and receipt in hand. Told them I was missing a meal and they apologized and said they would make a new one. Then the manager Letty asks what else I ordered and proceeds to say all of my food is cold and she'll have my whole order made over and hot and fresh. I appreciated that. Although it was very unacceptable, she managed to turn my frown (more like scowl) upside down. She did the right thing and was very very sorry about the mistake that was made. read more

I believe this is one of a group owned by the same people. Their McDonald's restaurants are all AWFUL. Overpriced and dirty with broken-down equipment and clueless employees. My latest visit was cut short when I found out their internet wasn't working. I told the manager, she offered to call later that day to find out what was wrong. I then called the owner. He wasn't in. They suck. No matter if you drive through, order from a delivery service or order on their app they can't get a single order completely correct or the right temperature to save their lives. At LEAST 50% of the time I am given the wrong drink. I've received my drink with no ice. I've received freezing cold hard french fries. I've received burgers that look like they've been dropped on the floor. I've received burgers with no condiments on them that are also freezing cold. Today I drove through at 3:00 p.m. and waited 10 plus minutes to get to the order board, and not because the line was long...I ordered a medium Coke and medium fries. I received a medium Cherry Coke and undercooked anemic looking french fries. There is no freaking excuse for this. You won't be getting any more of my money. read more

It's on the menu and it's cheaper than a double cheeseburger but all these morons could figure out to do was try and sell me a hamburger and add an extra pattie for an additional $1.00! I asked how much a double cheeseburger minus the cheese cost and they said $2.49 plus tax!!!! Really McDonald's? Let me start off by saying I don't expect a McDonalds to be the world class customer service Mecca. That being said...I would be nice to have SOME kind of customer service besides awful. 1) There are literally hordes of homeless people around the restaurant. I can't drive in without 5-6 people approaching me for money or food. Nightly there are 4 high, drunk or overdosed people passed out by the doors. 2) The people who work in the drive thru have the WORST attitudes. Between sassy mouthy people to people who seem like they can't be bothered to people who snatch money out of your hand or don't respond to thank you or on their phone or bad mouthing customers...everything. 3) McDonalds in general has gone downhill. Do People realize "large" sodas there are Smalls-mediums at other places? They "invent" over price burgers and get rid of classics..the McRib or snack wraps. You use to be so good McDonalds. I ordered the new spicy chicken sandwich. I had tried my first one at Popeyes and it was heaven in my mouth. McDonald's can't compare. They handed me my sandwich in a little thermal bag that made the whole sandwich and bun soggy. The smell was not appealing at all. It smelled like when I change my sons poopy diaper (I am not kidding, I'm pregnant and I'm very sensitive to smell and that was my first impression) it wasn't crispy and had a funny taste to it. This McDonalds is trash honestly. First thing, I walk in because the drive thru was taking forever and I had to use the restroom. They lock the restrooms and you have to interrupt customers and associates to have it unlocked. I ordered a 20 piece nugget, medium fries, and a frappe. My total was almost $16. The nuggets themselves were $7.29 and were soggy and barely warm!!!! I could have gone to an actual restaurant and had a meal for the same price. CHICKEN NUGGETS FOR $7.29 though!? For the THIRD TIME, I have went through their drive thru only to keep driving on through because of the rats playing out by the drive thru menu. Get your rat problem under control folks! Effing gross !!!!!! 09/05/14 I went through the Starbucks drive-thru this morning at 4am (Mcdonalds is right next door & you have a clear shot of the drive thru & garbage dumpster while waiting in the Starbucks line), and for the fourth time now I could see rats (just one this time) running across the parking lot near the McDonalds dumpster. If they have that many rats outside, you can be certain they get inside as well. This location is absolutely DISGUSTING! I actually sent a complaint to the King County Health Dept about them this morning. 091614 I received a response from the King County Health Dept, and the woman who emailed me said they did a thorough examination on 091214 & there were no rat dropping inside the building. She did say that this location sprays for rats outside the building monthly, and has rat traps out there as well. While I'm relieved there were no rat droppings inside, the fact that they have such a horrible problem directly outside their building to warrant monthly sprayings means I will never go back. I came here to buy some food for my crews after getting some construction material from Home Depot. I wanted to wash my hands before touching my food or reaching into my pocket for wallet so I walked to restroom in order to wash hands before ordering. Their staff stopped me and told me restroom is locked. So I went to order food first and ask for key to restroom. I was told I can just push to open and it's not locked. I can accept being told that restroom is for customers only and I planed to spend over $70 on food here for 4 people anyways but there's no need to LIE. read more

It's kind of a shame cause this is the only real neighborhood fast food place in walking distance from my home that isn't in the mall. McDonalds is never your first choice of a place to eat, but if you're looking to spend just $8 on lunch and be in and out quickly, it's always an option. The problem? This one is less of a fast food restaurant than it is a hang out place for the homeless. If they come in and buy a cup of coffee, they can just sit there all day and stink up the booths and use destroy their restroom. I was inspired to write this after the following exchange when a woman was trying to help her son with special needs use the men's room. The kid goes in, comes out and says someone is using the stall, the woman cleaning the tables said the stall shouldn't be used cause it's broken. They let the kid use the women's room as it's locked. So the homeless guy comes out who was in the stall and the lady working says to him, "I hope you didn't use that stall, it's broken." To which he replied, "I just needed a place to shoot up." Legit, he said that. And she just went back to work. He then sat at a booth and dozed off while I quickly finished my meal. They make it very clear you're welcome to just come in here and doze off, if they at least enforced a rule where you can't stay more than 5 minutes without buying something it'd be much better off. read more

Stunningly poor customer service in the setting of COVID. While the dining room is closed, and they are not allowing people to order via the their "entrance cashier", a maintenance man had managed to block the ability to access the drive-through intermittently causing customers to wait before they could proceed into the drive-through. Not impressive on the part of management for lacking the foresight to address the issue and have a backup ordering system. I gave up at 20 minutes wait and went elsewhere. read more

Most horrendous service. Completely unprofessional. As I walked in, they were talking about underwear and how they could see some of the cooks underwear. They had there faces away from us and we stood there for over a minute before they turned around. We ordered our food, and the older Asian lady turned right back around to talk about more inappropriate things. After we got our food, my burger wasn't even wrapped, they just folded the paper in half and slipped the burger in. We wanted sauce so we went back up to the counter and asked for sauce, that older asain lady once again, ignored us. We finally said Can you help me? & she rolled her eyes and got us the sauce. This general Macdonald is not bad. When the one manager is on shift the food is always fresh. I always get it fresh out the fryer. It really is hit and miss. But by far one of the better Mcdonalds I have been too. Good staff. Open 24/7. Which is a nice benefit. Could use a lot of improvement on quality of food with other managers. read more
