It's just McDonald's but I review the food I eat when eating out so here we are! My friend and I decided to put on a little weight on a Saturday night close to midnight and drive here for the HUNTRIX meal as part of their K-Pop Demon Hunters collab. Scratch that, make it a lot of weight because we EACH got their Big Arch burgers in addition to the meal! Both of these are also limited time items as of this writing. - The HUNTRX meal has Ramyeon McShaker fries with seasoning, a 10-piece chicken nugget bag, both Hunter and Demon sauces, a medium drink of your choice and a collectible card of the characters in the movie. I actually came in thinking this meal would be like a Happy Meal and have 5 pieces of chicken nuggets and not 10 so that caught me off guard a little. I do love the McShaker fries and the way you make the fries taste like ramyeon though. The card is wrapped in foil like a TCG booster pack and comes with one member card and a generic Derpy card. Food quality is average for everything in here otherwise. - The Big Arch has two beef patties, cheese, onions, lettuce and a mustard-like sauce all smooshed between two sesame buns. This isn't a high-quality burger in any way but it is large and filling. It's bigger than their McChicken and comes at a really hefty price for a chain restaurant burger at $10 before tax. Because we came here close to midnight and the dine-in area closes at 11pm, we ate in our car so no comment on the ambience of the place. This has got to be the nastiest and worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Genuinely considering filing a lawsuit on this location after my experience. Please check the image I included as the burger i received is just too fucked up to describe. Lady at the drive thru speaker completely ignored my request for a bacon cheeseburger combo and gave me a hideous normal burger. Burger was uncooked and for some god damn reason part of the patty was bright green. McDonald's - The meat is 70% of the bun! Losers! - Fast Food Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I hadn't been here in about five years; today I was quickly reminded why. First, the drive-in access is completely insane. Unless I'm blind, the Northgate Way entrance is completely blocked off from Northgate Way's westbound lane(s) by a lengthy barrier curb that forces you into the parking lots of the adjacent businesses (was it always like that?). You then have to navigate multiple streams of traffic within those parking lots (which is NOT a trivial endeavor), exit, turn back onto Northgate (because said parking lots don't actually connect with the McDonald's lot, natch), and hang an immediate right from Northgate into (finally) the Macdonald's parking lot. 2. This location has been extensively remodeled, and was even closed for a while, but the weird curb by the order mic that almost always manages to take a bite out of your rims in spite of your complete awareness of it and best efforts to avoid it: completely unchanged! How'd they do that?! They must've really had to put in some effort to preserve that. 3. The waits between stations seemed much longer than the waits at individual stations, but this might have been a byproduct of the fact that the guy in front of me was apparently ordering for nine people. 4. Employees were reasonably quick and efficient, although they seemed sad and depressed; but who can really blame them if they have to work here? 5. My small order was pretty expensive, but that's how it goes now. Then more waiting (six minutes for me) and navigating multiple traffic streams within the parking lot, and if you're lucky, someone will eventually let you back onto Northgate and you can drive home. Don't count on it, though; Seattle traffic has worsened markedly in just the last year or two, due to decisions from City Hall that include the increased use of "road diets" ; the installation of hundreds of pointless, overly elaborate new bike lanes; lower speed limits across the city; speed bumps everywhere; and the addition of an increased number of (usually unnecessary) unmetered or only partially metered mid-block traffic lights whose various functions and (frequently unexpected) actions have no demonstrable relationship with the existing traffic flow. As in most blue cities, these things are done not to increase traffic efficiency and reduce the use of fossil fuels, of course, but to make getting anywhere in a car as stressful, inconvenient, and time consuming as possible, in order to force drivers into the supposed panacea of public transportation. Also as in most blue cities, City Hall does nothing to keep public transportation safe, so you're literally forced to take your life in your hands to satisfy the blue fetish for public transport packed with homeless people, criminals, and drug addicts. Be careful, as Seattle drivers would much rather risk accidents and constantly block you and cut you off than take a few seconds to let you back into traffic. 6. The food was OK, I guess. This is a liminal space McDonald's. I'm not sure what the deal is with this location, but their menu items are different and missing some things from other locations. The employees here are friendly but clearly undertrained and can barely hear you order in the drive through.. I ordered a McGriddle and a medium iced coffee. I was given a McChicken biscuit and the strangest wish.com-esque coffee I've ever received: undrinkable. McDonalds manager, if you were reading this, we are all in restaurant businesses together, and please do your best to take care your customers especially we all understand how difficult it is to be open during this time! I run a local restaurant near this location, so I was able to drive back right away. Since most people do not check all the items when you order via drive through service, but I encourage you do and keep your receipt! I had a fairly large order, I received four bags and thought I had them all. I went back for the first time mentioning one of the burgers was missing, and showed them the receipt. The manager took away my receipt and gave me the burger. Unfortunately I had to go back the second time because the 20 piece nuggets were missing as well. I'm glad I used the mobile app because it saved my order record. Since no one is allowed to be in the restaurant, I had to wait outside by the entrance. I was a bit upset because their body language looked like I was scamming for more food! I don't like to write negative reviews, this is just something I'd like to share with all the other people who order through drive through, definitely check all the items before you leave the lot, because this wasn't the first incident I encountered. On the way home, I used the drive-thru to order a Big Mac combo (minus beverage) and requested changes to the condiments. After confirming the order, I paid the first drive-thru window, then proceeded to the next window. As McDonald's, like so many fast-food businesses with a drive-thru, have issues with meal modifications, I double-checked the order for accuracy. The order was inaccurate. Because of this, I returned to address the inaccuracy and was told I could either return the meal and they would change the existing sandwich or return the meal and they would remake it. I elected for a do-over. During this exchange, no attempt beyond correcting the error was made. Normally, in a situation like this, I would probably just give the mistakenly made food to someone who was homeless. But because they required the food be returned, I had no option. Thoughts. Over the years, the experience at this location has been painful to rewarding. This recent experience has forced me to re-evaluate supporting this address. It's clear the operating margins are so slim they cannot afford to go the extra mile. And no, remaking your meal is not "going the extra mile". So, if you like friendly drive-thru staff and occasionally hot food, then this is a fun spot. If you abhor businesses that make you feel like you've done something wrong by complaining about order accuracy, then avoid this location. read more

Apparently this location needs to train their workers on how to use the mobile ordering because this isn't the first time I've had issues with them at this location saying that a mobile order wasn't paid for, that it didn't show up on their screen, etc., etc. Tonight I placed an order for my husband to pick up. They insisted I had to be present, so I had to walk roughly a quarter mile at midnight to meet my husband at the store. Never mind I'm two months pregnant and have been sick all day, these idiots insisted that the phone had to be physically present even though he had the mobile ordering code and I'd clicked the check in (which weirdly the app let me do). After waiting through an extremely long line for a second time, the incompetent window cashier insisted I had to pay AGAIN at the window even though I'd already paid through the app. Again, not the first time they've tried to get me to double pay for one order. And of course... the charge went through but the two idiots working don't know how to process a mobile order. Avoid this location; go to Shoreline or Ballard or anywhere else. This is one of the only fast food restaurants in my area open 24/7. I think there are maybe 2 others in North Seattle. That is important. I have heard of the mediocre service through these reviews. I think most people should take them into some context. It is difficult to get anyone to apply at a fast food job right now. It is also difficult to get some people to apply for a job that they have to leave the house right now. I think that drive-through customers are increasingly more aggressive and blame employees for situations out of their control. Like price. Or speed. If you do not have enough employees to apply, you cannot have speed. But this location has done the best they can. The employees are never rude to me. They did make a mistake a year ago on my order. I told them about it and they fixed it. It is not a perfect system. When I need fast food at 3am, they are open, they are polite, and seem to be working very hard. If that ever changes, I will let them know. Right now, I am happy with the service I got 30 minutes ago. If someone is willing to work in Seattle between midnight and 6am to get you your food, think about being thankful for it. I worked in fast food restaurants 20 years ago. They don't participate in any special seasonal offers or anything. The drive thru line seems extremely slow every single time. Ordered a couple of happy meals via UBER eats for the kids and they not only forgot to include apple slices that were ordered but they had given out ROTTEN coagulated milk. We called McDonald's right away and asked to speak to the manager who REFUSED to give his name. He pulled up our order and confirmed the entire order to which we explained the apples weren't delivered. He could care less. His response was "uh...ok." Then proceeded to explain to him the milk being handed out to CHILDREN are rotten. He went on to ask for the dates on the caps. I reiterated that the dates don't matter if the milk wasn't stored properly bc I have pictures of the coagulated milk poured out into my sink. My child also stopped drinking it bc she stated it was SOUR. Again, "uh...ok. Ok." That was his only response and then hung up! No wonder he didn't want to give out his name.
