Just like many other places in Eastern Kentucky, you won't find teenagers, you will find older employees. You would think that with age comes at least a mere appreciation for the job that they do have. Not here. Each time that I come here I get the sense that I'm a burden or they would rather not not have patrons at all. I only come to Paintsville once or twice a year and if I'm hungry and in a rush, this is where I stop on my way. This Memorial Day, I ordered a small fry and Southwest salad. That's usually my go to at any McDonald's. The lettuce was browning and the fries were cold. And they charged for a water. I get it, the fee is for the cup, but it's still harsh. The only good thing that I have to say about it is the location... being on the main road, right after the Mountain Parkway ends. read more

McDonald's - Southwest crispy chicken salad... The glaze and lime are so good that I don't use dressing - Fast Food Near Me - Salyersville, Kentucky

Honestly, the only thing I get at McDonald's is coffee. Everything else is overpriced anymore for what you're getting. It's disgusting and you pay almost 350 for a cheeseburger or double cheeseburger that used to be $1.29. And you make everything disgusting or unhealthy. You don't have any healthy options besides a parfait or apples or a cheeseburger with no burger. read more

It was freezing in this place. The two people in front of me commented, then I told her I would eat outside because it was so cold. Her comment, the employees in the back get hot so we keep it cold. What service industries need to understand is the patrons write their paychecks. If we are that uncomfortable we won't come back. read more

This used to be the best McDonald's around but the past few years it's went down hill fast. It's OK but not the best, I guess it depends on whose working "maybe". read more

Service was bad it took 3 people to get our order so having to wait 7 mins then another 6 just to get our food so we were late to our destination. We though we be in and out the drive fast but no read more

What used to be a wonderful place is gone with the wind, I was the only car in the drive thru and ordered just 2 meals and was pulled into a waiting space. I noticed every single other car was as well and after a bit of investigation on facebook it happens to everyone. Fast food is no more, and this is Slow Serve. It reflects on leadership, management, and most importantly new ownership. I blame the ownership. read more

The man who took our order was getting aggravated with how big our order was and proceeded to say "is that all Because I sure hope so", and when he was giving back the change he did it aggressively and the change fell into the floor. I thought maybe it was a accident until he did it to the elderly couple after us also, and he didn't even try to help them pick the change up he just looked at them.I am not from here but I've never experienced someone so rude at my local McDonald's. read more

What once was one of the greatest McDonald's in eastern Kentucky has now turned to the worst. due to new ownership hamburgers are now under cooked. bags are terribly put together with French fries spilled all over the bag and when I was waiting in the drive-through there was an employee Going through our food unwrapping hamburgers and showing it to other customers asking if that was the right order. in the age of coronavirus that's truly disgusting read more

Pretty much everything that I get from there, especially the burgers, are always amazing!!! I'm picky about my restaurants, but I trust and love these guys!!! read more

This is probably the worst Mcdonald's i've been to. I ordered breakfast for my mother and when it arrived EVERYTHING WAS BURNT! Why in their right minds would they give a COMPLETELY burnt egg mcmuffin to a customer?! and don't even get me started on the service. I had someone call me while i was ordering and i politely stepped back for a second and i already knew that the cashier had a sassy attitude and what do you know...they erased everything that i ordered and had someone else go in front of me. I am NOT going back and i suggest you not go either. read more

Most fast food restaurants are typically predictable and consistent. The Salyersville McDonald's isn't much different. The biggest issue with this particular location is that they are notorious for being slow through the drive-thru and you need to make sure to double check your order before pulling out. More times than not they do not give us the correct order. Despite that, they do seem to be very busy. I am not a frequent flyer for fast food, but when I do eat, I usually go to one of the others in Salyersville. I will eat here if everyone else in my party wants to eat here, and you will get a typical McDonald's meal. read more

Best Mcdonald ever! I got a 10 piece chicken nugget that had 13 nuggets!!! I also got a large fry and a blue slushee. Was all great. Super happy about the 13 nuggets! Food tasted awesome. Service was slow though. Probably because they were putting 13 nuggets in my meal. So i'm good with it. read more

I have heard so much about the buttermilk chicken tenders and finally decided to give them a try for the first time. I ordered the six piece and was happy that the box came with slots to hold the sauce. Immediately when I opened the box, I saw that the tenders very very dark. I picked one up and tried to bite into it and almost broke my teeth. Hard as a rock. Is this the normal because it was not a good first impression of them. Either they were way over fried or extremely old! Not happy at all considering I had to throw away the whole box!! read more
