The mister regretted the double patty choice, as the patties were larger than expected, and he'd wished he'd gone with a single. Our server was friendly and checked up on us regularly. The Old School is, shockingly enough, housed in a former school built in the 1870s, with comfy bar stools and some cute school decor. The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. If seated at the bar, you can order there, otherwise there is a station where you can order and then head to a table to wait for your food or wait to grab carryout. They had two double deck ovens, and were busy, but our service was attentive. The dining area was full early on a Saturday night with families and sports teams. Our pizza, with house made crust, and hand seasoned sauce had delicious flavors with a sausage nugget carefully placed on each pepperoni slice.
