The staff were super friendly and quick to take out order, and you really cannot beat the prices! Overall, I would definitely go back to try their dinner/casual dining and have a couple rounds, some pull tabs, and the touchstunes!

Unfortunately, by around 5:00, they were out of prime rib sandwiches, but we found some seats at the bar and ordered a couple of drinks and looked through the menu to decide on something else to eat. I decided on he "Held Back a Year" a single smashburger and selected cheddar, mustard, and pickles as my toppings. Mr. R went with one of the double smashburger options after asking how many ounces the patties were, and a side of tater tots. The burgers were really good, better than those offered at a couple of places we frequent. The mister regretted the double patty choice, as the patties were larger than expected, and he'd wished he'd gone with a single. Our server was friendly and checked up on us regularly. The Old School is, shockingly enough, housed in a former school built in the 1870s, with comfy bar stools and some cute school decor. There are a couple of patios for outdoor seating, and space is available to rent for parties and meetings.

Roadhouse came highly recommended by friends of ours that have relatives in town. We were in Green…read moreLake camping for the weekend so we went on a Friday night to check it out. The service was pretty quick and the pizza was amazing. The place was recently remodeled and is very open, warm and inviting. We got our drinks promptly and our appetizers were hot and fresh. I was astonished at how the cheese curds are not at all greasy! Our son raved about the fried pickles. The pizzas were out of this world and worth twice the wait - which was surprisingly short for a Friday night. We ordered a Hawaiian which was perfectly balanced on all ingredients as well as a meat pizza (pepperoni, bacon, sausage, hamburger) and it was a delight as well. The real surprise was how light the meat pizza was - no grease and the taste was out of this world. All of this made an already reasonable bill for a group of seven even more of a deal. We will be back!

The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We sat at the bar and boards on the wall noted drink specials, food specials, and mocktails. They also had about 10 draft beers available. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. If seated at the bar, you can order there, otherwise there is a station where you can order and then head to a table to wait for your food or wait to grab carryout. They had two double deck ovens, and were busy, but our service was attentive. The dining area was full early on a Saturday night with families and sports teams. Our pizza, with house made crust, and hand seasoned sauce had delicious flavors with a sausage nugget carefully placed on each pepperoni slice. Despite the name, Roadhouse Pizza also features hoagies, sandwiches, burgers, and more. If I lived closer I would be a regular patron at Roadhouse for sure.
