Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. It's taco and broasted chicken night. Good food at a good price.

We had to wait a moment for our table, but got a spot at the bar for two very affordable drinks (a dirty martini for me, an old fashioned for him). The service was great and the meal was to die for. We had steak and seafood with a wedge salad to start and it was so fresh and delicious. I'm happy I researched and stumbled upon this establishment.

There are two levels, with bar and dining downstairs, with more seating upstairs. It's dark inside. Had 6:00 reservations on a Wednesday night, and got right in. Our server got us set up with menu, and drinks right away. We ordered a couple of appetizers including the meatballs, and a sampler plate with fried mushrooms, duck strips, chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. Our entrees included the filet, rib steak, bbq ribs, scampi, and french dip. The appetizers were okay. Not a fan of all the heavily fried items. The meatballs were tasty and probably the best of the items. (although the presentation was not very appetizing). We also got served warm bread sticks, and honestly I love warm bread but they seemed over warmed and tough. I did not finish mine. My Lobster was very good. The other parts of the meal were subpar. The salad seemed whilty and the vegetable medley was over cooked and flavorless. Tried some of the items. The filet, and rib steak were both excellent. The bbq ribs were okay, but a little overcooked (i like to have a little chew). They stopped over with the dessert tray and were very persuasive. Did save a little room for the Peanut Butter Brownie Torte. That was very good. The evening was kind of mixed bag. The service was spotty and some of the food items were not remarkable. If I went back I would skip the appetizers and just focus on the steak and lobster choices. The prices are reasonable, so perhaps its a good value for some customers.

Decent size parking lot available for diners! This spot is a bit rurally located, but a treasure in the rough. The interior is uniquely Wisconsin, blending dive bar with supper club to create an approachable, laid back atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and conversational, yet kept his distance when not needed! The Old Fashioned menu was large, with unique spins on the classic Brandy-forward drink in this neck of the woods! I went with the Haunted Brothel, which had a lovely nuance of chamomile tea and ginger beer to give it a distinct taste! I'd absolutely go back to try another one of the many offerings on the menu!

They have a robust old fashioned menu--all made the Wisconsin style. We ordered the barrel aged old fashioned and asked if it could be made in the classic style (and specified without soda). Our server said, 'of course!' Annnnnd--then we got our drinks and they were both Wisconsin style. Not a huge deal and we did enjoy but a word of warning to those who favor a classic old fashioned with no wash--might have a hard time with that here. For our second cocktail, we got Manhattans which were better! For an appetizer, we were waffling between the spinach artichoke dip and the brussels sprouts. Our server recommended the spinach artichoke dip so we went with that. The dip was flavorful and the tortilla chips are house made. It was good! For my main, I got their eggplant parm, which was ample, saucy, and served on a bed of pasta. I definitely couldn't eat it all in one sitting. It was delicious. Our server was attentive and the prices are reasonable. Get to it!

We got on the list and settled in with a couple drinks. Despite my misgivings, it only took an hour to get seated. They took our order at the bar and we were seated by the window overlooking the lake. Unlike so many places back home, they actually had bottles of oil and vinegar for the salad. The Vegetable Soup was good and solid, nothing fancy. The Poor Man's Lobster was made with haddock which is fatty enough to work without being too dry like cod can. My husband loved the Chicken Cordon Bleu and the taste of that I got was so good. I finished with a slice of Cherry Pie and we took a long look over the lake before heading back to our cabin. Thank you for helping us make memories on our anniversary.

So for $90 we got 2 drinks and a perch and a combo meal. THE PERCH WAS SIZE OF MY THUMB!!! 4-GOLD FISH SIZED shriveled up and flavorless, And all the food was absolutely dripping/soaked with grease and we couldn't eat a third of it. I showed the waitress how small and horrible it tasted and said "I ain't eating this SHIT". She apologized and gave me $5 off. I am serious that we left like half+ our meal. What a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and to wait like 10 years to finally get there and an hour drive. What a kick to the JUNK. screw your Jim n Linda's... WORST FRIDAY FISH EVER!!! Any local pub would be cheaper and BETTER than your crap!! Shoulda ate at CAPONES down the street!! I will leave a bad review anywhere I can. Talking to a few friends already and they had similar experiences.
