About a year ago, I wrote a very critical review because, in my opinion, the restaurant had fallen far below the standard that made it a Green Lake favorite. That review has since been removed because it no longer reflects today's experience. With new ownership, strong leadership, and a renewed focus on quality and service, Norton's has made an impressive comeback. If you had a disappointing experience over the past year or so, I encourage you to give it another try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

We said something to both our server and the person who delivered our pizza and they both just kind of chuckled along with us. We didn't have access to the menu then to go back and see if it was our mistake or theirs. The salad was delicious though and the Margherita pizza was delicious but it was soggy in the middle so the cook put too much sauce on for the delicate dough. But great flavor. The wine was okay but for $20 a glass I have had better. Maybe it wasn't the wine for me. They only had one selection of truffles that evening. No salt on the tables but they offer you fresh ground black pepper and Parmesan. My lamb chops needed no salt they were seasoned perfectly. I'm a salt lover too. The tiramisu was okay I've had better. Their affogato is by far the way to go for a nice light dessert. Overall it was a great experience and I will try them again. You are paying for the experience as well. Just know you can't be in a rush-plan several hours. I'm also really upset they made us wait so long and didn't let us into the bar. I understand, not wanting to have an overcrowded restaurant and not wanting to rush the people who are there so I'm not really sure what happened because other reviewers talked about being able to get a drink beforehand. I felt like we weren't cool enough for the hostesses so we got set on the back burner.
