The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We sat at the bar and boards on the wall noted drink specials, food specials, and mocktails. They also had about 10 draft beers available. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. Pastimes Pub & Grille is hands down the best spot for a burger in Ripon. The food is top-notch, with perfectly cooked, flavorful burgers that hit the spot every darn time. The service is impeccable. Friendly, attentive, and fast. If you're looking for a great drink, their Long Islands are simply delicious. Whether you're a local or just passing through, you gotta stop. Pro-tip: they're closed on Tuesdays. Plenty of seats at the bar if that's your thing, and a lot of tables and chairs... also in warmer months they have a sizable patio. read more
