    Tall brandy old fashioned

Great food and drinks at reasonable prices. I got prompt service even with it being a decently busy Saturday night. Different types of sports were on TV to watch.

Been here many times. I think something needs to be done about the cook. I mean the taller skinny fella. I asked for rare steak and it came medium well. Yuck. Usually the sandwiches are great, prices are a little high for what you get, in this case it sure was.

Pastimes have a large menu full of great food and homemade soups. The fish fry was phenomenal and the steak sandwich was tender and juicy. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The place is nearly always crowded and if you are lucky enough to find a seat at the bar, you will enjoy cheap beer deals and a full bar to satisfy your cravings.

Quaint dive bar in the heart of Ripon. Bar food nice and came out piping hot. The staff was delightful, and the place was nice and tidy.

As far as Bar food goes, we have had everything from mediocre tenders and fries in Waupun at that Prison joint, to just delectable and perfectly done tenders from here, 9/10!

The restaurant, which used to be Gus' Pizza, with the pizza prep area in the front window, was reconfigured and remodeled several years ago. We sat at the bar and boards on the wall noted drink specials, food specials, and mocktails. They also had about 10 draft beers available. We ordered some garlic cheese bread, and I had a red wine while we waited for our pepperoni sausage pizza. If seated at the bar, you can order there, otherwise there is a station where you can order and then head to a table to wait for your food or wait to grab carryout. They had two double deck ovens, and were busy, but our service was attentive. The dining area was full early on a Saturday night with families and sports teams. Our pizza, with house made crust, and hand seasoned sauce had delicious flavors with a sausage nugget carefully placed on each pepperoni slice. Despite the name, Roadhouse Pizza also features hoagies, sandwiches, burgers, and more. If I lived closer I would be a regular patron at Roadhouse for sure.

Our party of four had 3 appetizer sized small plates and 4 main courses (Walleye, Carbonara, and Bolognese). All the food was excellent, but the favorite for all of us was the crispy potato small plate. Our server was very pleasant, but she was new and not yet thoroughly familiar with the menu. It's a bit pricey, but I think the quality justifies the cost. One cautionary note: the menu, including the bar offerings, is relatively limited, so if you're looking for enormous variety you might be disappointed. I suggest you check the menu online in advance. We will definitely be back.

Excitement filled me as i aloud said "yasss can chat you up! Hello my 381st brewery!" I was warmly welcomed by friendly & knowledgable beertender Mikey. Staff Stephanie was nearby too. Mikey built me a flight. After making my way partially through the flight & beery chat, Mikey poured me a sample of Charlotte's Revenge Scotch Ale. Mmmmm so good!!! Of my flight, none of the six would i not order again but the Maibock was my victor!! Watch out for My Sophia....she is sly @ an easy drinking 9%. Mikey poured me a blue eyed blonde while telling me it was named for the owners wife. Boom....a few minutes later Mikey "thats the blue eyed blonde behind you". They had a brick oven but we didn't even discuss food. Mikey said they just celebrated 10 years last week, March 4th. They were originally right across the street as Mikey rattled off the store names where they were. Time got away from me so i didnt look @ merch. Thats my second visits task. I really like the tap room!! Spacious, lots of natural light, the exposed brick wall, the kitchen right there and a really big bar. The brew house just outside the tap room. I like the Wisconsin shaped flight paddles. When looking @ my flight list i asked the order? Mikey pointed out there is a tiny "map" on the sheet! I appreciated that w all the rising prices Knuth still offers a reasonable flight of $2 pours! I asked Mikey how to pronounce Knuth? Then forgot to ask its definition or how the owner came up w the name? Knuth checks all the boxes! Delicious beer, fantastic staff, comfortable digs, easy parking & just an all around good vibe! Thanks Mikey & Knuth for providing such a delicious & great experience; looking forward to my next visit, cheers!

As I continue to learn more about butchery and cooking, I more often than not find myself disappointed with restaurant fare - especially at a value price point. Prime rib starts with an excellent rib roast. That rib roast should have four distinct muscles. In inferior cuts of meat, these muscles get separated by sinewy, hard fat rather than thin fat that renders during the cooking process. This is super-important in prime rib because each of those muscles can sit at a different angle, changing the chew mid-steak. Also in inferior cuts, the ribeye cap - or spinalis dorsi - consists mostly of fat. In good cuts that cap if the best part of the prime rib. That did not happen here. The steak was OK as far as tenderness, but not great. It's actually such a small piece of meat that it really needs the bread and salad they do not serve just in order to leave feeling full. The fat and sinew between the individual muscles did not render well, and even the soft fat was inedible. I have eaten prime rib where I ate every single piece of that steak put on my plate. Here, I had to essentially cut out the heart of the ribeye (longissimus dorsi) and eat that alone. My wife reminded me that it was affordable. In the future, if the goal is affordable I'll just have drinks.
