Have extended their seating to include outdoor seating. I love eating outside, would love to see them create a divider between the outdoor seating and road, otherwise very nice. Had the Bloody Mary with chaser, slightly spicy, was very good. We started with the tempura brussel sprouts, absolutely delicious. We kept changing our minds on what to eat and we decided on the brisket grilled cheese and we were not disappointed. The Gouda cheese, brisket, and mushrooms were a great flavor. Server was amazing and very accommodating. All in all a fantastic lunch. Highly recommend.

My wife's meal however was a little lacking, it was a special that day, some type of shrimp risotto that was lukewarm and a little mushy, the side salad was also a wilted, not fresh. This was a let down, because I usually enjoy my meals at the Pig.... Especially the desserts! I'm going to say this was a one off, and will be back for the Honey Glazed Salmon, and of course, the desserts!

Our wait staff young lady came around quickly to take drink orders, then after bringing them out, she brought out the food. Broasted chicken breasts, ham, and beef tips with mushrooms were the main courses. Bowls of buttered corn, garlic mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots. Everything was hot, and tasted great, just as if they took you home for Easter supper. Our server, Maddie, came around numerous times to keep us full with anything we desired. The restaurant was filled fast, once 10 am came, I'd estimate 80-100 filled the booths and tables, mainly large families. It seemed really cramped inside I walked around all of the seating areas and it was the same everywhere. While they bill themselves as being on the water, you really can't see the water from any seat in the house from what I observed, even if you're out on the deck, which is terribly uncomfortable in July. We actually were seated at possibly the worst table in the house. In a back corner behind the first floor bar next to a window that only showed you the backside of another building and a sliver of grass. The upstairs seating is truly undesirable because they've converted an area that wasn't meant to have tables in. It is super cramped up there and also everywhere on the first floor. The only place with a little bit of elbow room is the deck. You know a place is to cramped when the servers have to negotiate moving between tables to avoid patrons and other servers.

I visited The Diner recently and had a noteworthy experience. Upon arrival, I was greeted promptly and seated, which was impressive considering the restaurant was quite busy and crowded. Our server arrived shortly to take our order, demonstrating efficient service. The food was served relatively quickly, and I must say the meal was delicious. I highly recommend the patty melt; the patty was cooked to perfection--slightly pink and moist, which enhanced its flavor. Additionally, the sausage links were crispy and well-executed, further contributing to the overall quality of the meal. The menu is also well-priced, making this dining experience not only satisfying but also affordable. My son and I went to the diner, they were full except for two chairs at the counter which we took. The waitress got us coffee and water. We waited a while, which I fully expected and she asked if we needed anything , I said "just to order". She said she wasn't allowed to take orders until the person cooking allowed it. We waited a bit longer and the other waitress was putting in orders. We asked out waitress about that and she said the other waitress want suppose to be doing that. I understand I was going to have to wait but they had absolutely no system to insure that orders would be taken in proper order. We paid for the coffee and left. I don't know if I will return. read more

My order showed up with three decent slices of gyro meat, and a generous portion of tangy tzatziki sauce, which was unexpected but appreciated. My eggs were appropriately over medium. We sat at the counter and service was good. I also noticed that they were advertising homemade desserts, but we didn't partake, and daily food specials. We were out for around $30 with tip for two meals with waters.
