Terrible "service" from Jose at the drive thru, before 6 am 5/26/21. Ordered an apple pie and a cinnamon roll, and we were told it would take twelve minutes to prepare an apple pie. We said that was ok, as the line was long and very slow, we figured it should be ready by the time we arrived at the window, and we were not in a hurry. But when we finally got to the window more than twelve minutes later, no pie. They had not prepared it, and Jose at the window became quite belligerent when we told him we would wait in the parking lot. He clearly did not want to make any pies at all, and he kept coming up with all sorts of excuses for not doing something he needed to do anyway. It would've been nice to know what he really intended from the beginning, rather than think that our patience would be appreciated. Terrible experience at this McDonald's. read more

Driving a long road trip late night I though I would stop in Reno and get a quick snack, and I'm glad I did because I got to experience the absolute worst McDonald's location in America. Everything the other reviews say is true, and I had plenty of time to read them waiting in the 2 HOUR line at 2 am for the second time, because they gave me someone else's order. At the moment , I'm sitting in the drive through (again), with someone else's cold order, honestly and genuinely baffled at what they could be doing in there?? Demonic rituals? An o*gy? Drugs? I could have been in Las Vegas and ordered from a McDonald's there by the time I finally get my order, but there's no backing out now I guess, due to the awesome parking lot design. Waste of time. Waste of fuel. I wish literally anything else in this city was open instead of this excuse for a store, If it's a franchise they deserve to have it revoked. It pains me to give a 1 star review, since my kids love the Play Place, but I have to share this. We went to play Sat afternoon, and in the cold winter months my kids get indoor playtime for the price of lunch. This day we chose the Keitzke location, since their play structure is massive! Unfortunately, I will never return here! I observed a little girl have a potty accident, and I alerted her dad, who barely looked up from his phone before letting her resume play. Both he and the mom had McDonald's employee uniforms and name tags on. So he allowed her to go back to the climbing structure and smear her wet pants down the slide, and ignored a puddle where she wet herself. Several kids were playing without socks, too...eeeewww! I gathered my kids and made for the exit. From the parking lot, I called the store, to alert management to the issue for cleaning. The staff member that answered, Mikayla, a manager? hung up on me as I described the situation!!! Boo, Keitzke store! From here on out, I'd rather drive to Carson for a large play structure! At least the Pyramid & McCarran location closes for cleaning, and actually cleans! Total disfunction... Working nights , and typically the only place open. My fault for continuing to submit myself to the torture. Very slow due to " being understaffed " Last night card processor down so you better bring 20 bucks for a combo. Damm near that price anymore. Writing orders down on a piece of paper and honestly , when I got to the window and she asked what I ordered I had forgotten the combo number. This was about 30 minutes later with 3 cars in front of me. When I said the biscuit combo , worker very rudely said " there are a lot of biscuit combos " I guess she figured it out when I mentioned I ordered a diet coke and extra hash brown , which they forgot to put in bag. Sandwich cold too. Have had my coffee full of grounds here , and when I mentioned it , the young " I don't give a shi# worker " just shakes head with a dumb look on her face. Well today I met a fellow Yelper, and since our meeting was more about meeting then about lunch, and she had her (adorable) 3 year old we opted to go to a McDonald's so the 3 yr old could play! We chose this particular McDonald's because it has the glass enclosed play station - you know those slides and nifty tunnels for kids to play in. Well we all got food, and it was exactly what you know your gonna get when you go to McDonald's - nothing great, but something to eat! I have a couple of complaints about this place that REALLY need some attention. Starting with the minor complaint - the self serve ice machine didn't work so I had to get them to fill the glasses with ice - seems like they would have known this and gave us ice when they gave us the empty glasses? No big deal My main complaint about this place is the play area was FILTHY. All of the tables were dirty, the floor was dirty, and it had a funny smell in there. We sat there for a couple of hours talking and never did any staff come out to clean off the tables. I know that kids are generally resilient creatures, but I think McDonald's should put a little more care into the sanitation of their children's areas or just DONT have them! Right now with the swine flu going around killing people, everyone, and every restaurant no matter if its McDonald's or a gourmet restaurant should be taking EXTRA steps to keep tables sanitized and things clean - this place was just really out of line, it needs a GOOD scrub down and more attention all the way around! I think a picnic or take out and the park is a better choice next time! At least the rain washes off the tables at the park!! BTW - it was awesome meeting a fellow Yelper in real life, and she is just as cool in person as she is on Yelp!! This McDonald's is a disgrace to the franchise and to fast food restaurants everywhere. Complete MESS of an operation. My girlfriend and I came here for a late night snack and were literally trapped in the drive-thru for an hour after being told at the order box that they are only accepting cash and were trapped in by multiple cars behind us. Zero consideration at all to at least put up a sign to notify customers before entering the line. The situation was made even worse by the fact that this McDonald's location literally has a slower turn around than your average sit down restaurant. It almost seemed as though they were intentionally slow. Worst fast food experience I have ever had, if you could even call it an experience considering that I literally just sat in a line for an hour for no food. Do not come to this McDonalds. read more

I also bought some apple pies that normally they are soooo good but she gave me old ones that were stale and had no time on it. Pretty sure that's against the health code violation. Ho. Lee. Crap. Slowest, most inattentive service I've ever gotten. And don't start with that whole, 'Well, heh, you went to McDonald's, so what did you expect?' Bullship. I've been to my fare share of McDonny's in my time and on average, the service is just fine -- quick and efficient -- especially the drive-thru. No no, not this one. First of all, a few factors weighing into this situation but not necessarily the review rating: 1) You know how they have one of those split drive-thru ordering thingamabobs? One of them was coned off. 2) Their order screens were down and were doing some Matrix-y type number sequence. Kept wanting to pick up a phone and Dial in ala' Keanu but I was busy being super pissed off because I was speaking with a moron... which leads to... 3) The moron taking my order. The car line was from the pick-up window through the one semi-working order screen out through the parking lot. I'm three cars back and I look ahead to see what the hold up is. You know when you make those late night food runs and there's always the perpetual car full of college kids who just had their first beer trying to order one of everything? Yeah. I'm like, 'WTF IS GOING ON. JUST ORDER YOUR GOD DAMNED HAPPY MEALS AND GTFO OF THE WAY, KIDS.' I felt like yelling it out but I'm glad I didn't... cause it wasn't their fault. It was the jackoff working the drive-thru. When it was my turn, I spent ten minutes reading my order to him repeatedly (two #3, regular size, one with no pickles or mustard, the other with no onions, and two regular cheeseburgers). Finally we go for the finish: He goes, 'Does your order appear correctly on the screen?' Me: 'The screen's not working..' Him: 'Huhhuh, oh yeah. That'll be $9.37 at the first window.' Me: 'So can you read my order back to me?' Him: 'Yeah, one second. (long pause) I have a number three and three Diet Cokes, and that's all I got.' That's the problem with these drive-thrus: you're trapped. Nothing you can do. You're stuck at the mercy of this dipstick and his ADD. Another couple of minutes working out the order, I get my food -- my burgers are cold. I thought nothing could make my sleep deprived, two hour drive back to Sacramento from Reno at 11:30 PM more enjoyable, but boy was I wrong. When I took my first bite of the first of the two lukewarm cheeseburgers made sloppily and without care, I realized that my night was complete. Absolute slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. Did curbside so I wouldn't waste my lunch break, and while I was waiting (app said it would be 5 minutes) it took over 15 minutes to get my food. Keep in mind about 6-7 people went in and got their food and left in the meantime. Very unhappy. read more

This is by far the worst location I've ever been to. They are always slow. A quick trip through the drive-thru always seems to take at least 30 minutes. They seem to hire the most incompetent people. Tonight was the last time I will EVER be going to this location. The person taking orders in the drive-thru has no clue how to operate the dual lane drive-thru. The person in the other lane went before me and I should have been next. Instead this worker took 2 more cars orders before she was going to take mine. I can't believe the attitude of the employees at this establishment. They are beyond rude to customers, it's incredibly slow and the food is always below McDonalds specified quality. I just sat several minutes at a drive through speaker with no cars around and then they helped the car that pulled up after me. They didn't help me until I said "seriously". At the window when my food was being handed out by a manager I mentioned it. Instead of a half hearted apology I got some bull about how busy they were with a whole bunch of attitude. We stopped here in a hurry to feed the kids. Problem was we were in a hurry... The service was pretty slow and it took them FOREVER to actually take our order. Despite how big it looks on the outside its pretty small on the inside with 75% of the resturant being the play place. It is also EXTREMELY COLD if you sit anywhere near that playplace. Even though it's fast food, I'm writing this review because I was SO impressed with the graveyard manager/employee Jared! He was fast, extremely patient (I had to count out $8 in loose change) and genuinely friendly - all qualities I look for at top of the line business's! If I had my own company, I would head hunt hi.. This establishment is always full of surprises. Will today be the day I ask, eager to head over to my favorite corner of town where the drive thru pulls directly out into busy traffic. I get in my car and make way over to the local watering hole. McDonalds. I pull into the drive thru and order the same thing i have been ordering for the past few weeks consistently. This is no ordinary McDonalds though. No matter how clear i make it, nor how polite I am, they will always get my order wrong. Its like a special power. I go to McDonald when I'm in need of a quick snack or coffee. I understand it's McDonald so you can't expect much. However the experience here was so horrible I'm not even sure how they are still opened. If I can rate this place zero star, I would. I got into drive through and there were barely any cars. I pulled up to the station to place my order and the lady tells me "one second." Sure thing. I proceeded to wait for a minute and another car pulls up to the other station and I hear a male voice taking the car's order. Now I'm getting a bit annoyed since I've been waiting for two/three minutes (which is pretty long for "fast food") and they're taking the order of another car that just pulled up. I yelled out my window "Hello" and the lady responded again "One second." I wanted to leave but a car was now behind me. I eventually placed my order which was a hash brown and a coffee. I go up to pay and when I get to the second window two workers comes to the window and asked me what I ordered. I told them it was a hash brown and a coffee and they're both frantically trying to find it while arguing....She then tell me she needs me to pull to the side of the building so they can make me my order. At this point I'm super annoyed. I tell her can she also include two ketchup in my order and as I start to drive to the side of the building she tries throwing the ketchup in my car! I had to brake and tell her to put it in the bag for the hash brown. I couldn't believe it. Who does that!? I pull up to the side and it takes another 3min. I decided to just refund and leave. If they are this incompetent and unorganized, I do not want to eat their food. I went inside and told the cashier I wanted to refund and when he went to grab his manager, two of the managers were bickering about not wanting to do the return. SERIOUSLY?! One of the manager finally comes over and apologizes and wants me to take the food instead. I said no and she gave me my money back. When I counted the refund, she gave me the incorrect amount. I had to correct her and then she gave me what she shorted me. It wasn't until I was in the car that I realized she also gave me the incorrect change. Can this experience get any worse? Honestly, this order should've took no longer than 5-10min considering it fast food but this whole ordeal took 15-20min. Whoever is training at this McDonald needs to do better.
