Just moved down here on Sunday!! Spend a lot of money on this place- asked for family meal=2 Big Macs , 2 cheeseburgers and 4 fries- 25 min later was told out of Big Mac sauce - do I still want them, I said No- that's why I order them- so u don't have mayo relish and mustard- so went to quarter pounders- they must of been under heat lamp for hours, don't go here during winter, owner, manager and employees don't seem to care!!! Should have bought a steak mash potatoes and corn at store!! Burgers were so overcooked can't get taste out!! Will not waste money again read more

Ordered breakfast at 10:15. Arrived at the drive through slightly after 10:30 to pick up my food but they hadn't made it and said they wouldn't since breakfast was over at 10:30, even though I had pre ordered the food when breakfast was still being served. Probably the nicest people at a McDonald's I have ever encountered. My kids didn't want food from the local bagel shop I ate in, so of course we had to get fast food. Two lines for the drive thru and they moved quickly and efficiently the way they're meant to. The woman that took my order was so friendly, it felt like a family owned business. I forgot to order my daughters McFlurry and even offered to drive around through the drive thru again, but the cashier added it to my existing order at the window. Wow. I just had possibly the WORST McDonalds meal I've ever had. I don't eat it very often, but occasionally I'll treat myself. The McCrispy chicken sandwich was a last minute change. Mistake. Nothing crispy about that slab of chicken. 3 pickle slices all together in one spot, and nothing else, just on a dry bun. It was absolutely horrible!! I spread out the pickles but when those 3 bites were gone, the rest of the sandwich went in the garbage. At least the fries are always amazing, right? WRONG. Not at this location! They so desperately NEEDED SALT!!!! I've never had that problem at any other McDonalds. So they were tasteless. All the fat and calories with ZERO taste! This is five stars relative to a McDonald's! Obviously the food is McDonald's food, but I think the staff are great here and the play place is awesome!!! This is one of the updated places with the touch screen self-ordering, which I personally like because it makes it easy to customize things the way you want. I didn't even know all those options were possible! When my husband got my order wrong anyway, they were very nice about it and happy to fix it for me. The play place has an area for the little ones with a small slide and a very cool self contained climbing area above for slightly older kids. My three and a half year old was up there by herself the whole time no problem. It has a slide too, and some other very fun features like a cylindrical mat you can stand on and run in place while holding onto the handles on the side. There is also a separate climbing wall just tall enough to be fun but not so tall that it's dangerous. read more

It's a McDonald's, so my standards aren't too high. But this has to be the worst in Delaware. I've lived here for years and been a few times, always with bad service or bad food. But this time was the last. I went through the drive through and they got my order wrong, then told me I would have to come in to fix it, on a Friday evening, with a very long line. No apology, didn't even make eye contact. I just took what they gave me and left. What I got was dried out and hard nuggets and a burger that looked like someone threw it on the floor and stepped on it. read more

Although the interior is nice don't let it fool you into thinking this restaurant is good. Employee working as cashier was extremely rude and unhelpful she had no idea what she was doing. Then not only did we witness the manager be super rude to a child when asking for a toy replying with ' stop saying can i can i can i did you pay for it?' And then when the cashier was having difficulty's finding a mobile order and the manger was called over it replied " if it says it went through then it did. A male employee at the drive through window handed us our ice cream cones and was not wearing gloves. This happened 4 days ago with a female employee but she had long nails and I thought that was the reason. Neither of these employees even wrapped the cone in a napkin before handing to us. It's a mixed bag at this Rehoboth Beach location because last week a female employee wore gloves plus handed us our cones in a holder so she didn't even touch them which I thought was great. Very inconsistent during these scary times with Coronavirus and food should always be handled with gloves regardless. This is a training/management issue. I do not blame the employees. read more

Another classic McDonalds experience. In an attempt to try and be Chik Fil A (I'm talking about the number they give after you order), you sit down and wait a good 20 minutes for "fast food". The customer service at this McDonalds is shit, I ordered 3 sweet teas, 2 rootbeers, and a large fry through the drive through. We paid got our drinks and the rootbeers tasted bad because the machine was out. I walked back to the drive through window because I didnt have a shirt so I didnt want to go inside. I told the lady at the window that the rootbeer was out and if she could go to the other machines in the front to get me new rootbeer and she couldnt understand English and was saying that she could give me new cups. So I just took the cups because I couldnt deal with her. I went inside and those rootbeers were out too. So I went to the counter and said that they were all out and the only response I got back was a sassy I know when I wasnt even being rude to her. I just wanted my rootbeer, why cant your employees have common sense and tell us that the rootbeer is empty or why couldnt they fucking change it when they all knew that it was out. So then I wouldnt have to get out of my car to come inside without shoes and a shirt on just to get told I know when the drinks were out. read more
