This is how our fish filet came. No bottom bun and more Tatar sauce on the box than the dried out filet

Ordered a Filet of Fish, drove 15 min home to find no bottom bun on a SANDWICH. More Tatar sauce on the box than the bun. Called to share my experience and no one would even answer the phone for 10min.

I always request "No Onions" and I almost always get onions anyway.

Do you want your Quarter Pounder without onions? TOO BAD... You'll get onions anyway! McDonald's food isn't known for being great... It's known for being consistent. A burger in Bozrah, CT should be the same as a burger in Burbank, CA... No surprises. Unfortunately the poor quality and service at this location often surprises me. This location doesn't have trouble serving: two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a ROCK HARD sesame-seed bun. The food isn't always bad, but it's often enough to know this location has a problem when compared to it's sister locations. When ordering at the drive-thru, don't expect special requests (like no pickles) to be honored and check your bag to make sure you got everything before pulling away.

Just wanted something to hold me over until I got home to the missus' cooking and I should've not tried to sneak in a quick burger and fries. I got some kind of BBQ burger with crispy onions and bacon and some kind of artisan bun and a large fry. The burger was lousy and barely warmed up and the fries were straight up cold. Supposed to be cheap fast food I get it but it should be edible and they should at least try. The only plus is that my server was really nice.

Disgusting old lettuce.

Decided to give this place a second try, and again I regret not going to a different location. I bought a crispy chicken southwest salad, with brown and wilted lettuce. Of course I didn't realize this until getting home. I picked out the chicken and added it to my own lettuce. Waste of $6.26

What do you expect!?

Shhhhhhh, don't tell no one but I actually liked my Big Mac. And it was served fast. Shhhhhh. I swear I haven't had big Mac for more than 12 months...Shhhhhh.

Friendly staff, well staffed (which is not something you see too often nowadays). I love the more modern feel, and of course the faint Frankie statue. The food was amazing, restaurant was clean, plenty of seating. My boyfriend got a hot dog with peppers and onions with steak fries. I got a grilled cheese and curly fries(same as I used to get a child lol, I was feeling nostalgic) He also got a soda and I got a water, all of this for around $22-23 About the same price (maybe a few dollars more) if we had gone to a regular fast food chain, but def worth the extra money. Plus I always love supporting a local business. It was also great to see they even had some of the old arcade games to play for free, I wanted to play but didn't, because all I'm thinking of is people eating with their hands and then touching the controls with unclean hands, maybe it's just the post covid era Only recommendation I have would be to have a hand sanitizer near the game. Such an amazing place!

I don't generally review fast food spots, but this is one of the most absurd drive thru experiences…read moreI've had in recent years. I used to like Long John Silver's when I was young and I haven't had it in years. I drove by this combo Long John Silvers and Taco Bell in Plainville and decided to hit the Drive Thru. There was no line to order and no cars between me and the pickup window. There was a fairly normal Taco Bell Menu and a separate low tech menu listing certain Long John Silvers combo meals. It didn't seem like it was a complete menu. I said "I'd like to get a Fish and Chips." The person taking my order said "what do you want?" I thought maybe they don't use the word "chips" at LSJ, so I said "a Fish and Fries." She accepted this order and said it would cost "$2.25", which seemed very low. I was in somewhat of a hurry, so I decided to just go with it, and I was curious about what they were going to give me for $2.25. I drove right to the window and paid. I didn't check my clock, but what seemed like about 10 minutes passed and a line started to form behind me. She asked me to drive around front and said she would bring my order there. I parked in front and waited about another 10 minutes without getting my food. Within those 10 minutes, another car appeared from the Drive Thru area and also parked out front. I had finally lost patience and time, and I started to drive away since I needed to be somewhere and didn't care that much about the $2.25. As I started, an employee came outside with a bag and gave it to the other car. I said "I've been waiting here for about 10 minutes for my food and about 20 minutes since I ordered. Do you have my food?" She said she didn't and that she doesn't "make the food". I told her I was leaving. So what would I have gotten for my $2.25 if I had had an indefinite amount of time to wait? I will never know. What did I get for my $2.25? A mildly interesting story. Very mildly. Maybe not even that. 1 Star

My visit was on a Monday at lunch time. I was one of 18 customers. Not busy, but enough to not eat in an empty restaurant. I ordered at the kiosk, grabbed a number, and waited a few minutes for my food to be prepared, which gave me plenty of time to snap a few photos. I ordered the double hamburger with bacon, fries, and a chocolate shake. Important to note a soda would have been cheaper... But... it's SHAKE Shack... I felt obligated. I wonder if I should have gotten the Reece's peanut butter cup shake. Next time. As you can see from the pictures, the atmosphere is sorta industrial complex/city space feel. The food was delicious. 1/4 lb smashed patties, crinkle fries, and a chocolaty shake. So good! Notes: 1. if I had skipped the bacon and gotten a soda, it would have been under $20 before tax. 2. Get napkins! The burger extends well past the bun. 3. I feel there should have been more fries, but the burger and shake compensated so I left full. Bottom Line: I'll be back!!!

For whatever reason, the Boneless BBQ Baby Back Rib sandwich looked good in the photo and sounded really good to me. Avoid it. At all costs. The "meat" was so dry and just not good at all. No bbq sauce on the sandwich. So much fat on the meat as well. The only redeeming quality of the sandwich was that the pickles were good. Ate two bites of the sandwich and even that was too much. Food poisoning the next day. The West Coast fries were....interesting. I'm not sure if it was the "secret sauce" but the fries tasted sour. Without all the stuff on the fries they were fine. Unfortunately however ours were absolutely covered in the toppings and not in a good way. He had a beer to drink, which tasted fine. We ordered on the little kiosk so an employee had to come over and enter a code to show we're over 21. The problem with that is that there were many 3 or 4 employees all already working the grills/fryers and one of them had to step away to help us. They should have a cashier to help! Based off this initial experience, I do not see myself going back. Definitely not to this location.

This place was well reviewed, so we decided to make this the spot this time around. Ordering was done up front, but there were tables to sit at. Missus ordered while I took photos, and the food came out relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. Sweet potato fries were the highlight. Hand cut, fried and seasoned. With ranch, they were really good. The burger and hot god were good in terms of quality and quantity. The condiments were a little overpowering though, ended up taking over a lot of the dish and really muddled the meat. The meat itself was lightly seasoned, relying on the condiments to bring the flavor. Not bad, but all elements should bring their own identity and add to a meal. The burger felt absent, and although flavorful was lacking that extra bit of salt or fat to make it truly shine. It's not bad at all, just lacking. Everything else was good, the price easily reasonable for the quality. It was just missing those finishing touches to be truly great

Honestly, after reading the reviews, I wasn't too confident I would even be able to eke on in for dinner, but my God was I able to get in, and thank the LORD I was able to find a parking spot with such a full lot of cars! What started as a solo trip to J Timothy's became a welcome table event when fellow Yelper Angie showed up with her husband and invited me over to their table. I'm SO glad we were able to have that happen! It became one of the best post-event dinners I've had yet. It did take a bit of time to decide between the three of us, but we eventually split our checks, with me taking care of my order and Angie taking care of the rest. We had Kate as a waitress, and might I say, she was not only nice and efficient, but she was very knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful and accommodating. I immediately requested a take-out box and she delivered just like that. She was even knowledgeable on what foods and such were made in-house and what wasn't, which is honestly very impressive! Also note, we all got to have a taste of everything that came in tonight, so we got lots of food to get to! We did have the wings for our appetizers. I did the 10-wing Dirt Style Honey BBQ Gold for mine, and they got I wanna say 20(?) Buffalo wings. They were cooked to perfection, and I was able to twist the bones off the flats. Both flavors were good, but even though it could possibly be my bias talking, I did prefer my flavor of wings. I will say the Buffalo had that signature spice level there, but it didn't overpower the wing, which is awesome! Oh, and there were also the potato skins which was rated perfectly, and that tasted really good as well. For the entrees, this is why I immediately requested the box. My order was the full rack of ribs. Angie got the chicken pot pie. Usually, I don't eat pot pies, but the one Angie ordered was honestly very good. Flaky, buttery crust top, and savory filling or chicken, potatoes, peas, etc. As for my ribs, whenever I tried to cut them, all the meat kept falling off the bone! That's how you know it was cooked properly! And dear God were these ribs were delicious, succulent, and delicious! Did I mention they were delicious? The BBQ sauce was a symphony of bliss that helped make each bite of rib taste like I went to Cloud Nine! The coleslaw it came with was good, but it's not something I would say can compete with the South. But good all the same. Drinks were great too. I got the Dragon Fruit Martini(?), and that was sweet and relaxing to have after a long summer and a long drive to Plainville. Oh, and we also got dessert! Again we picked different things: Angie ordered the "Not Fried Chicken" while I went with the Key Lime Pie. Wherever these guys get their key lime pie from, keep them coming and let me know so I can get some more myself! The raspberry sauce was a great choice for accompaniment and complimented the pie nicely. And the slice was divine! The Not Fried Chicken is a very innovative idea, and it tasted good as well. I can see now why this place gets so much love. It's insane how good this place is in just about every aspect! The sink did take a bit to learn, but that was about my only criticism, other than that this place easily gets 5 stars from me, and I am so glad to have had this dinner with Angie and meet her husband. #KeepYelping

We chose booth seating on the 2nd floor, which was cozy, and boasted a cool view of the downstairs area. For my beverage, I chose the Cherry mocktail, which was oh so fizzy, refreshing, and a nice mix of sweet and tart. We shared the Chili Dirt Wings and Fried Calamari. The Wings were fried twice and generously sauced. They were satisfyingly crispy and full of bold flavor with a bit of a kick. The Fried Calamari was light and crunchy. I had a tough time selecting my entree, but finally went with Taverne Grilled Meatloaf. This dish consisted of beef and pork meatloaf, loaded mashed potatoes, and mixed vegetables. The Meatloaf was cooked perfectly on the char-broiler, giving it a slightly smoky taste and bit of caramelization, then smothered in a tomato glaze. Meatloaf was delightfully tender and well seasoned. Loaded Mashed Potatoes was mouthwatering, covered in melty cheese, bacon, and scallions. Veggies included carrots, zucchini, squash and had a great consistency, adding a fresh element to the dish. For dessert, I had to get one of my favorites: Sticky Toffee Pudding. Their version was a moist, dense sponge Bundt cake with caramel sauce. It was decent, but overly sticky sweet even for me. Service was solid. Our waitress was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything came out in a timely manner. If I return, I would want to try the Shepherd's Pie, Boneless Braised Short Ribs, or Pierogies and Kielbasa.
