This place was great for a McDonald's!!! It was one of our first stops in Alaska and it was worth it. They had a lot pictures on the walls from community related events. They had Valentine's Day stickers and decorations everywhere. I really liked the fact that they had a special needs employee. read more

Best, hottest fries I've had in a long while-better than the ones in the Lower 48. Mocha frappe and iced coffee were made to order and delish. Service was friendly. And the views-can't beat em! read more

Wow, it's Veterans Day today and there are restaurants giving out full meals to vets for free! However this location couldn't give me 1 sweet and sour sauce for free on Veterans Day after spending over $40 on 3 meals, wouldn't even allow me to purchase one because I was at the second window they told me I had to go back through the drive through! Why does McDonald's hate their customers? read more

Food is always hot when you order. Staffing are friendly and quick. Inside is also very clean

The slowest it's ever been even ordering ahead online I waited for almost 25 min. They usually are faster. Sometimes they don't have stuff available. read more

Literally the worst experience I've had with a McDonald's, to preface the staff working was One black haired, white skinned, manager with a receding hairline. A slightly dark skinned woman working the drive thru, and a skinny white male making the food, this was on December 24th at 7:15 pm I went thru the drive thru and ordered a few items including a quarter pounder with bacon and a double quarter pounder with cheese, the initial issue was that I did not get either of these items after I was given my order, I did get two other items but they were not the right thing. Now it must be kept in mind the lobby was closed Now me having had this Situation another day at McDonald's in Palmer I went to the window and knocked until somebody saw me and let me in to get my food. I knocked on the window and held up my receipt clearly showing that I had ordered food and I'm not some crazy person. The white manager with a receding hairline looked at me, saw me and my receipt, contemplated for Atleast 3 seconds and returned to ignoring me, about twenty seconds later the woman looked at me and returned to work as well. I'm pretty sure the manager said something to her, while she was looking at me, along the lines of "ignore him" My father then got out and also knocked on the window, really loudly btw, yet they just continued to ignore us Very annoying situation, the McDonald's in Wasilla let me in to get my food situation rectified when It happened there, Manager doesn't deserve his job I didn't get the food I purchased and the drive thru would've taken another thirty minutes to go back through. Pretty annoying read more

I know it's McDonalds but the service should be as close to fair as possible. Terrible service and raw fries

I asked for a Sausage Egg McMuffin with sausage instead of bread, because I'm a low carb weirdo. They wouldn't do it. Fine. So I asked for it without the bread. They gave me an enormous platter with a patty of meat and a circle of egg in it. Ok, A+ for being inventive! Put, there was no slice of cheese! C'mon, you're going to give me no bread, no cheese, and charge me the same, that ain't right! Next time I'll probably just order a bunch of sides of sausage and scrambled eggs. BEWARE: this spot isn't a 24 hr location, they open at 6am. read more

Fast food is fast food, and that's basically all it's got going for it. But when you take the fast away, what's the point? I spent 20 minutes waiting on two sandwiches and a hash brown today. People arriving and ordering 10 minutes after I had received their food before me. When I asked why, I was met with the confused shrug of a teenage employee who simply turned around and walked away. After three more minutes and another person who'd ordered after me got their meal, I was finally handed my order. No apology, no explanation, no one cared. Horrible service. read more

I love this McDonald's. it's the only McDonald's that have gotten my order right honestl.

The staff, specifically the woman who was expediting the morning of July 26, are incredibly rude. They were a little busy but she went out her way to ridicule me when I was being nothing but polite. It's no surprise to see this location has two stars but in my opinion that is being generous. Do not come here. read more

false advertising. on their board you buy a big mac and get one for $2. I ordered a big mac meal and tried to get the one for $2, and was told no. Can't be in a meal. I tried to ask for the owner's number so I could contact him/her, and was told no. I was told if I had a complaint to contact corporate. McDonalds are privately owned?? Worst customer service, didn't care what the customer complaint was. read more

Fail! Fries were lukewarm. Coke seems to have no syrup in.. And the pickle goes on the INSIDE of the bun! McDonald's you let me down big-time! read more

The grease needs to be changed more often. The Polynesian woman(manager) on the morning shift, isn't pleasant. She was taking my order and in the middle with the mic still on, was telling another employee to come over and look at how something was done. After she was done talking to them, she asked if that was all I wanted. No, there was actually more to my order. Another time I waited a little over a half hour for eight breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. Was told to pull around to the front. When she finally came out with my order, it was to open the restaurant door and yell and hold my bag up for me to come and get. read more

They have very bad customer service! First they messed up on the burger, ordered a plain hamburger and came w everything on it. Ordered the meal and didn't give us the drinks that we PAID for. Then gave me grief and wanting compensation for it. They wanted to charge us more to fix it! Last time I'm spending money in Palmer for any type of McDonald's! read more

In line 20 minutes. The cashier at drive thur handed me my change $17.42 all wadded up and falling out of my hand. I requested a manager to get a reply of what for. Got home called McDonalds manager said I am so under staffed and he hung up. Maybe that's why I don't go there very often. read more

ok...I have been eating mostly a carnivore diet, I WAS vegan for many years. I wanted to treat myself after a 48 hour fast to something that is comfort food, so we went and ordered 4 burgers, onions and cheese and mustard side. they threw 4 burgers in 4 containers, Hucked cold cheese and threw in some onions. it was too cold right in the parking lot. Wow! I didn't think McDonald's could be so incompetent, but I digress. My biscuit from there was the WORST I've ever had. It was hard as a friggin' rock and completely inedible. My daughter ordered a smoothie and lo and behold, she threw it up later that night. I'm guessing that their machines were not clean and full of bacteria. This establishment is currently remodeling, and I suggest that they use some of that money to pay their employees to do a better job at preparing food. Shame on you, McDonald's for serving such crap! I will never eat from this place, again. read more

Typically where I go for mcdonalds, due to cleanliness and product. Today waited 25 min to get two McGriddles. No apologies. Nothing. Super annoyed. First world problems I know. However I go through fast food thinking it will be fast. Now I'm late, along with my daughter to school. read more

This McDonald's needs to update their hours on internet searches, because certain searches bring up the store being open 24 hours and others saying until 11 pm. This is one of the worst establishments I have ever been to, absolutely nothing here was satisfactory, the employees were just playing around, I am sitting in the booth and next to me there are two employees just socializing while doing an half-a**'d job at cleaning the tables, all of the booths were filthy, a costumer infront of me complained about the state of the tables, and they made HIM clean them instead of doing their own job! At the front counter, some cocky worker kid was interrupting people while they order, he wasn't even on his shift, he was just floating around annoying people with his constant banter and disrespect for people's personal space, the bathrooms were horrorendus, and messy. My food was a dismal wimpy Smokehouse, with barely a strip of bacon on it. The box it came in was filled with scrap bits of crispy chicken. The sandwich was tasty and was given to me right after I had ordered, but was so messy and rushed it was disappointing. The atmosphere at this establishment is run down and feels poorly managed, messy and plays inappropriate music. While I was eating, a worker left the maintenance closet door open and didn't even come back to close it. I will definitely not be coming back to this chamber pot of a McDonald's again read more

Great service! We were quite parched from a long hike on a warm day and we ordered a LOT of cold drinks. The drive thru crew delivered and we all left happy! read more

It's McDonald's, what else is there really to say? You know exactly what to expect because like most McDonald's the menu items are identical, the staff are usually teens with a few adults supervising, and the cleanliness is average. The drive-up service is fast, as you would expect from McDonald's. The one really cool feature that's different from other chains is the photos on the walls inside the store. They are a local tribute to the fact that the Palmer McDonald's supports many children's activities and is a partner in the community. read more

Online it says that this location is open until 1am, but I suppose that the workers decide that they close at 12:30?? Anyway, it's nice to know that the staff has authority over management, supposedly. read more

When I ask for four hot mustards and I only get two because the shift manager feels that is all that's needed for a 10 piece McNugget. I'm the customer. I'm supposed to be satisfied. I haven't posted about the semi warm cheeseburgers or fries that are usually sold. Don't have too large an order either, they are sure to leave something out that you will have to go back in for. Need to train their management at this place in customer service and lose the attitudes on mid shift. read more

Every McDonald's has their problems, but, this one screws the order every time. It's nothing new. It's been going in for years. Mcflurries only half full of ice cream that aren't even mixed, chocolate shakes with no chocolate. They even messed up my BLACK COFFEE! I mean, pour some freakin coffee in a freakin cup!!! read more

This location is where I would go to for McDonald's. The crew provides good customer service/friendly and they seem to work as a team.

Google says it's 24 hours but they close at 10:30 sometimes and other times at 11 ... get it together For chrissakes

Horrible service even by McDonald's standards. They just don't care about customer service, and your lucky if you get what you ordered.

Training store obviously. Everyone is too textbook in uniforms fresh outta the package. Though I respect learning, a whole crew of newbie's is a bad business decision in my opinion. I'd recommend Wasilla or Eagle River. Eagle River is the best in my opinion. read more
