Three kiosks are by the front door. We do NOT like them. We ordered from a friendly young woman who was at one of two cash registers. We got the drinks riight away. Two quarter pounders and large fries took longer. In fact, we got someone else's order first - Big Mac and Double Cheeseburger with special requests and two fries. Husband took it back, and a few minutes later we got our order. Fries were fresh! Hamburgers were lukewarm. The place was clean and reasonably quiet. Available inside were, chairs, comfortable booths, with light music playing, and 3 TVs muted. No play area. The bathrooms were well stocked and also clean. That's important on a road trip. We came over here for a Global Access interview, and that was only a mile away from this McD. Parking lot was large & clean. The drive-thru was much busier than inside. read more

This is by far the most unusually decorated McDonald's I've ever been to not including the Rock 'N Roll one on Ontario street in Chicago because that one's practically a museum or a Hard Rock Cafe. From the outside this McD's is completely unassuming and you wouldn't be able to tell that when you go inside it's like you're in Margaritaville. You see I get it that Orlando is a tourist town, that it's in Florida and that you get all sorts of people from all over frequenting this city but the decor has almost nothing to do with the local area (Orlando) and really looks like it belongs on the Duval street in Key West... Why? Well this McDonald's is not in Universal or near Disney or any other theme park. It's on McCoy about a mile and a half from Orlando International airport on a service type road not really visible from the expressway. This place is hidden... around the corner from a 7-11 and a Clarion Hotel on a not so known strip. Grass roof hut like structure indoors? Check. Wall covered with Key West type attractions like the Most Southern Point market and the sandy beaches of the Keys? Check. Wait, aren't we in a commercial area near Orlando airport?... haha made you look. Now if one was to say drive to Key West from the location of this restaurant it would take a good 6+ hours or almost an hour and a half flight time. That's far right? That's like driving from San Francisco to Orange County. Boston to Baltimore, Chicago to Kansas City or Dallas to New Orleans. That's far! OK so Orlando and Key West are in the same state but they don't even have the same climate. So to sum it up, the prices here are about the same as any given McD's anywhere but the place makes you feel like you're on vacation. I was already on vacation but hey if you want a taste of the tropics this is a themed South Florida McD's in the middle of state. I didn't see them having the 2 bacon, egg and cheese biscuits for 3.33 but they did have 2 Egg Mcmuffins for 3.50 going on for their all day breakfast. read more

This McDonalds is near the airport. My first impression was having to negotiate a large pothole in the center of the entrance driveway. Service was decent-up to McDonald's good standards. Last night went thru the drive thru at 11:30pm and was told cash only, the night before went thru the drive thru at 10:15pm and was told the system was down and restarting. Tonight went thru drive thru at 10:25pm, there were 2 cars in front of me, I was asked to please wait and several minutes later was asked to come inside to place my order because they were extremely busy. Upon walking in there was a group of 5 people waiting for their food... that was it... the cars in front of me never went in and neither did anyone behind me. They seem to always have issues other night shift. I gave the manager a little grief, after all he said they were extremely busy and there was only 5 people in he lobby that had already ordered (there were also NO orders waiting to be prepared for UberEats,DoorDash, etc) so they were not busy.. Manager was nice enough to give me a free fry, but come on, let's be real, making people go inside stating your busy when your not is BS. I definitely will not be going back to his location after three nights in a row having issues. read more
