People will step up on the platform and walk extremely close to you. I had to ask a kid to stop throwing sand by us because we were eating our dinner. It was a little chaotic. We were extremely patient and understand, but I could see some people being very upset and annoyed. After ordering, our food came out pretty quick. I started with the coconut grouper bites and they were phenomenal. Light breading, lightly sweat, and flaky. I had the Gulf Grilled Cobia and it was phenomenal. The fish was tender, flaky, and light. No fishiness at all. The sauce on the fish was also delightful. My husband and son had the fajita skewers and both enjoyed them. My husband also had the peel and eat shrimp and said they were amazing at The Gulf. Our drinks were okay. We had better drinks at other places during the week, but they weren't bad. We would return, but try to come on an off-time that wasn't so busy.

I tried the Lime Margarita, Blackberry Mojito, and the Strawberry Basil drink. Every one of them was fantastic. You can tell this is a place that people genuinely enjoy working at. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the customers all seemed happy to be there. It's rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right, but Avenue Pub comes very close. I downloaded this app to PURLEY leave a review on this establishment. I am a man of pure etiquette and class. I came to the beautiful beaches of Alabama to consume copious amount of adult beverages and raise my BAC to levels no man has ever seen. As my trip and to an end, I awoke, and decided I needed to put some nutrients in my body in order to make my long travel home. I stopped at this McDonald's unfortunately. As a man of pure class, my peak male performance body was in need of a chicken McGriddle. Guess what they didn't have? You guessed. ANY MCGRIDDLES. Also, no FRAPPES? HOW??? THE WHITE GIRLS WERE GOING CRAZY. I did what any logical man would do, and settled for a chicken biscuit dryer than the Syrian deserts in May with Mia Khalifa standing in the middle. No big deal right? Wrong. I waited 45 minutes for this dry, breathing depriving, throat scratching biscuit, did I mention it was cold? I also order two large water for and my significant other, who I must mention happens to be a man. They refused to give us our second drink. He literally died after eating that biscuit. We had to hurry him out back behind the dumpster. Everyone was raging due to the fact their crotch goblins weren't betting their apples slices and chocolate milk. It was awful, waited 45 minutes for a biscuit that killed my husband. 0.5/10 do not recommend. Thank you. read more
