This is my local McDonalds. As the parent of two kids under five, the Golden Arches make a more regular appearance in my life than I'd necessarily prefer, but when chicken nuggets buy domestic tranquility, you do what you have to do. Unfortunately, North Bend is home to the worst McDonalds on planet earth. Ask any local what they think of this location, but only if you have 20 minutes and there are no children within earshot. Slow service, crappy product, rude, drug-addled, slack-jawed and/or gross staff, the list goes on and on (and on). Simply put, it's where dreams go to die. Today's outrage: It was a three event day for our four year old. Gymnastics, soccer, and a birthday party. By the time we left the party it was 7:00pm and we had a wet, dirty, hungry toddler who was closing in on bedtime. In other words, exactly the kind of scenario where we say "to hell with the organic carrots, let's hit the easy button and get a brown sack of cheap calories." North Bend is a "travel" location in the lingo of the fast food trade--it's highway-adjacent businesses are particularly busy on weekends. Ski area traffic, campers, road trippers, North Bend is in the ideal location for anyone heading over Snoqualmie Pass who finds themselves in need of a gas and grease top-up. With this in mind we placed a mobile order. We pulled into a numbered slot, clicked the "we're here" button in the app and settled in for a wait (been here, done that). 10 minutes passed. 20. 30. There is a window of time a toddler will wait patiently for a chicken nugget, and 30 minutes is at least 25 minutes past the green zone. Desperate, I contemplated going in, but watched several fellow woeful patrons approach the door only to find it locked (another favorite trick of this location is locking the doors anytime they sense they may be pissing people off, which is to say, always). So we waited. It could have been that the kids were watching the second Ice Age movie in the backseat, but I swear I've seen glaciers move faster than the service was moving tonight. When at long last, a harried employee emerged from the restaurant with our little bag of crappy food, she breathlessly explained they were short staffed. I asked, "how short", and was informed there were a total of three employees working in the restaurant. Three. THREE. At dinner time. On a Saturday. In the summer. At the last exit on the Seattle side of I-90 with any services for 50 miles. Incompetence, plain and simple. The couple who own this McDonalds own a raft of Golden Arches locations. This one in particular should be a mint for them. Unfortunately they have literal morons running this place. If I was them I'd be considering burning the place down for the insurance money. But if they don't have the stomach for that here's an alternate idea: Sack every single employee and start over. read more

I don't care for ordering from a kiosk, but no one is available to take your order. The menu tracker wasn't working. McDonalds relies too heavily on technology and not enough on customer service and satisfaction. read more

They were all extremely rude. We attempted to ask about the ice cream and they mumbled yeah yeah it's broken as we had just watched someone leave with ice cream. Mind you we have kids and have been traveling for hours. The store was messy. Trash all over spills on the table. The bathrooms were gross. No body even said hi welcome nothing. Boys were excited to try the new Travis Scott special. Imagine the disappointment when we got home and opened lunch to find just a bun, cheese, vegies and sauce. I don't understand how it's possible to fail so badly at operating a McDonald's and how corporate hasn't done something. Over the past 1-2 years, the lobby is NEVER open...the drive-thru is always down to one lane and it takes 30+ min to get thru the Drive -thru. Better to skip this location and head to either of the two in Issaquah. read more

They continually close the lobby on a random cadence and it doesn't seem to streamline anything. This McDonalds is always long lines due to lack of efficiency. Update your hours online if you choose to close early daily. read more

This McDonald's has gone down hill. Closes before 10pm, lobby is always closed, orders often get mixed up or things left out.

DIRTY. Literally every table was disgusting, food all over the floors under tables. They make you place your order at the kiosk, and have you take a table number, then they make you walk up to get your food. read more

Right off I90 very convenient pit stop. Due to covid the dining room was closed. Drive thru only at this location. The staff were nice enough to let use the restroom when I asked at the door. The restroom was very clean. The drive thru had two order lines. We ordered a couple of coffees for the road. read more

this mcdonald's sucks!! you would think that they would try to be open as much as possible since so many people stop here after a long day of skiing. It's quite the opposite. They literally never have the lobby open and will close it at random times with people inside. They also close way earlier than stated on their hours most nights. Nice McD's but sllllooowww, however, not knocking them for that because they had like 6 lanes and were crazy busy. Huge parking lot here, especially for a fast food place. ...it's McDonalds, not much to expect. You would think the place would be somewhat decent, but you're wrong. Sure the food is bad, but the staff and dinning areas must be nice...you'd also be wrong. This place is mainly where "white trash" teens work. Every time I've come to this awful place some high schooler ends up giving me my food. I grew up around the area and am raising kids of my own in the area. I'm 47, and for over 20 years I've come to this McDonalds. I got a lot of experience with this place. Just want to say this off the bat, I'm either extremely unlucky or this McDonalds is extremely lazy. For over 20 I've tried to get ice cream from this damn place and was only answered by "the ice cream machine is broken". Maybe this is just me, but I haven't bothered to get ice cream at all in 2022 at my local McDonald's. I normally come here after work so I can eat and then sleep. I ordered a chicken sandwich one time, I got a Big Mac instead. I don't recommend this place. Go somewhere else...please. read more

I've been to this McDonald's a few times. If you're here any time between 11 and 3, expect a long wait. The location is a popular one. It's right off I90 and is a last stop of sorts for people headed East over the pass. Although the service can be slow, I will say that my order has never been wrong. Cars backed out to the road at what seems like all times, thirty minute wait times. It's a very busy location, I get that. As a business, you need to prepare for that and do something about it. Worst experience I've every had at a McDonald's... If it was possible to give a a negative rating I would. I'll start by saying that the McDonald's app/pick-up always fails, which requires you to go inside for assistance. Inside, you'll be met by long lines and rude staff. Over the weekend, the app had an issue with my order again... With that said, I followed the apps instructions and went inside to the counter. While waiting in line for help, the staff was telling customers that they needed to use the kiosk instead. Other customers needed help using the kiosk and the staff refused to help them. When I explained that there was an issue with my order, they first told me to use the kiosk, then told me they couldn't help me and I'd need to wait for a manager/supervisor. The manager/supervisor said that they were busy and that they couldn't help me. When the manager/supervisor finally came over, she said "What's your problem?". I then tried to explain the issue, but she refused to listen and kept interrupting me. She then proceeded to answer the phone while I was trying to provide additional details. I ended up just walking out because the experience was so bad and the supervisor was so rude. The final straw was when I decided to go through the drive-thru to place another order and they were out of happy meals lol... This location is always out of something, extremely slow, will forget items in your order, always has an issue with the app and operates and random hours. DISGUSTING MCDONALDS! NEVER come here unless you want to get food poisoning. The chicken inside my chicken sandwich was rotting BLACK. This the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. I had one bite and could taste that something wasn't right. I looked at my sandwich and could obviously tell that the chicken inside was not edible (as you can see in the pictures provided). I called to let them know about the incident and the lady was obnoxious and rude. All she said was that she could give me a new sandwich, AS IF I'D EAT FOOD FROM THERE AGAIN. After I rejected her generous offer ‍ to give me a new sandwich from the dollar menu, she continued to seem bothered and angry about my call. They spent a whole lot of money renovating this location when they should have just used all that money to hire people that actually care about their job. Most of the people who work the drive thru are rude and lacking in very basic communication skills. I once asked for apples and the lady on the headset was like "apple WHAT?!" SERIOUSLY?! Obviously apple SLICES. You don't serve apple coffee or apple cheeseburgers, do you?! Idiot. I've been to this location on many occasions. Sometimes mommy doesn't feel like cooking dinner and my kids like chicken nuggets so whatever. ‍ the location is convenient but I will NEVER return. Last night, we went to the movies and picked up McDonalds on the way home. When we got home, we opened my daughters happy meal to discover her chicken nugget box was full of tartar sauce and God knows what else. How does that even accidentally happen?! The man who finally answered was allegedly the manager on duty and had just gotten in. His name was Aaron or Eric or something like that. I calmly explained what happened and asked how that could even happen. He said "uh well I don't really know.. I just got here.. so um when do you want to come back to get another meal? Or uh like how we fix this for you?" Really?! That guy is the manager?! What sort of response is that!? No apology. No promise of looking into the situation and reprimanding whoever thought that was okay to do. I don't care if your shift just started. Couldn't get order correct at the drive thru then order was wrong at the window and when I went to fix it and walk in they demanded I bring the food back so I had to walk back to my car and grab it. Then as I waited over 15 minutes for my smoothies they got that wrong as well!!!!! Awful management and people there!!!! read more

Everything we got was delicious and the restaurant is up to date, detailed, and amazing! Loved our time here. We got the McDouble which was 2 for $3, fries, and an iced coffee. This is the worse McDonald's I've ever visited. Long lines around 7pm on a weekend night. Server was unable to scan code and also unfamiliar with how to enter code for coupon manually. After a long wait a manager was called who successfully was able to read the code. Order was wrong and the food was cold, likely had been sitting for quite awhile. Go to the nearby Taco Time or Burger King if in North Bend. read more

Extremely RUDE staff! I was accused of trying to get a free sandwich because I complained that my Quarter Pounder with cheese didn't have ANY cheese! This was after they gave my my order but minus the two Frozen Hawiian Punch drinks that I paid for. After I returned to my car and began eating the burger, I noticed that something was not right, There was no cheese on it! I went back inside and complained that it was one of the worst burgers I've had and was immediately accused of trying to get a freebie,, without any prior discussion of how to resolve the issue. In summary, first I'm served not what I ordered and then I'm accused of trying to take advantage. So I guess their policy is that I should just shut up! read more

Awful, no, just no. Shorted my change, food was cold, burger wasn't assembled, refused to warm or assemble the meal and refused to refund cash paid. This entire experience was while working with the manager Betty. I was forced to leave the restaurant empty handed. I promptly drove around back and cut into the drive-thru. The first window refused to help me. I produced my cash receipt at the second window and demanded a refund. Betty initially refused to refund my money. After a short stalemate, she gave me a pile of quarters as change and shorted me a dollar. If you're desperate enough to eat here and require a legitimate refund, be sure to ask for Betty. read more

We come every weekend with my family and every time we wait more than usual. every time the bread in the muffins is overdried, do not bite me, an adult big man. every time they forget about the mcnuggets sauce - we check later with my wife, I never have it, if these errors happened once, it's okay, but it's constant. and it's inconvenient to check in place, to delay the drive queue. understand that I am starting to feel bad about this place. poor, non-friendly inattentive and slow service. read more
