I'm not the one to typically whine and cry about service at fast food chains, so this should tell people something. Why is it that you can axe to verify your order, yet with all the reassurance they give you, they still manage to fuck up a simple ass task. Simple order: 2 Large Dr Peppers. Screen said Diet Come. At the window, asked if it was dr pepper and not diet coke. Was told yes. Asked at window 2 if it was dr pepper, again, told yes. Pull away. Take a drink. You guessed it. Diet Coke. I went into this Mcdonald's, wanting fries and a shake. The service was awful because they did not acknowledge me standing in line for 50 MINUTES. There was no reason to be waiting this long. We decided to just open the door and leave the place and go through the drive thru. The second we went through they were rude and ignorant. They denied placing a second order because of no reason. McDonalds in general is a huge ripoff!!!! $10 for a two cheeseburger meal, which is two tiny, thin burgers, a fry (which is hardly ever filled all the way) and a frozen coke! McDonald's is so damn expensive these days and the quality is crap, usually the food is slightly warm at best. Many times I believe the food sat there for hours. We visited here tonight and what an awful mess it was . The floors were filthy . Every single table had stuff spilled on it and garbage on several tables . The bathrooms smelled and toilet paper everywhere in the women's stalls. The men's washroom employees just walking in circles texting . The play place was so so filthy . Use to go here every morning for breakfast on the way to work . Happy people . Great service . All a sudden open/ not open . I go to work at 4:30 am . Was perfect .It says 24 hours ... a lie . First off manager was a total jag off, I told her they got the order almost 100% wrong and she's like well what do you want. I almost said to her I want you guys to make the food right you people want $15 or more an hour how about getting orders right then I mean this is not rocket science or brain surgery. When I went in to get my fries workers were standing there on the cell phones and remembered exactly what I had ordered but I never got them in the drive thru. Also last week I ordered a daily double and got home to a daily single. I know it's only McDonald's but if you can't get an order right how can you ask for a prevailing wage. I stopped in for a quick breakfast at this McDonald's and it was, by far, the BEST experience I've had at a McDonald's in my entire life; and I have a long history with MCD (I used to have birthday parties there as a kid!) Upon walking in I already had a feeling that this was a special location, one that was really loved by its owner and staff: there was a big sign up stating that their 40th anniversary was approaching and all the events/specials leading up to it plus what to expect on that day (a visit from Ronald McDonald himself!). First off, 40 years is pretty darn cool. And second, all the events (cheap burgers, etc.) were going to be really fun for families to attend. I walked up to the counter and the astonishment continued: there was a tiny line but my wait was minimal. After promptly placing my order I was handed my receipt and told I could pick up my food at the counter next to me. I had just enough time to enter my transaction into my phone (breakfast budget, heh) before I was handed a bag with my food. Wait, WHAT? That was FAST! Easily the fastest I have ever experienced. Now, one could easily say "all you had was a #1 with an extra hash brown" and that is why it was so fast, but comparing to every other MCD breakfast I've had this was FAST! But the joy didn't stop: this was a wonderfully constructed Egg McMuffin and my hash browns were hot, fresh, and crunchy! Wonderful execution! As I ate I experienced the true beauty of this location: the staff. Regulars of all ages would roll in and the staff greeted them by name and asked how they were doing (truly interested in the answers, btw - continuing the conversation and showing emotional reactions, etc.). Not only that, they had the regular's orders on-hand and ready to go! Wow. Just wow. This location is how McDonald's should be. This location should be a model for EVERY location. In fact, it was so enjoyable that I didn't want to leave. I wanted to just hang out there all day b/c it truly had a warm, fuzzy, homey feel to it. This location is a gem and I cannot wait for another chance to return - I just wish I didn't live so far away. read more

Love McDonald's coffee. Hot and iced. Quite frequently stop by the drive thru just to grab a quick coffee while running errands. Stopped by to grab an iced coffee today and received a large chunk of mold or some miscellaneous blank gunk while taking a sip. I like to think that corporate places have strict cleaning and sanitary policies. Clearly are not being enforced here. Making my coffee at home from now on. The employees were friendly and the women's restroom was clean, but the food could have been better. I ordered a Sweet Chili McWrap w/grilled chicken, and the lettuce seemed wilted. The flour tortilla was also soggy and stuck to the roof of my mouth--this could be true in general for the tortillas if they come from a central supplier for all the McDonalds, though... It also took what felt like forever to get a fish filet sandwich (okay, around 10 minutes). But at least the employees were apologetic about the wait. It also felt a bit crowded inside, which seemed odd for 3-4 pm. Whenever I tried to get around, there was an employee mopping the floors or high school students blocking the exit. read more

While trying to find a quick bit after a long day at work, I decided to go with my old pal, McDonald's. Obviously, I went through drive. Too tired to get out my car and order inside, but not lazy to complain when my order was wrong. Anyways, keep in mind, I was with a my significant other. As we ordered our food, and payed for it, we met this kind guy named Kieth. Not only was he kind, but his sense of humor was off the charts; I really did enjoy my time while it last there. Kieth even hooked us up with and extra fry and drink from the previous order that we discarded. I am calling him out by name, because I want him to be known to the world, that he's one of the best people out there you'll ever meet. He deserves a raise or something! read more

Dirty. This is one of the dirtiest McDonalds locations I've seen. There are definitely more out there like it but wow, this place even smells terrible too. Even when there aren't any kids in the play place running around, it smells like an animal shelter recently soiled. The walls even have caked on food and grime. If you like McDonalds food, keep driving, because there are more on Route 30 that are actually clean. Aside from the hygiene issue, the food is regularly served old and soggy. They clearly don't rotate out the old and new sandwiches enough in their warming areas. read more

I used to come here a lot awhile back. A man by the name of Helmke... Mathew Helmke I believe was a true gem to the McDonald's establishment! He was always so nice to my kids and I whenever we came in and was a very kind young man from what I remember but I am pretty sure he doesn't work there anymore , hopefully he comes back and adds to the wonderful smiley faces of the new lenox McDonald's again!! read more

There is absolutely no reason this McDonald's drive thru after 12 should be this slow. I made a yelp account just to write something about this place in hopes that someone in charge of it will see this and retrain their night crew, it's frustrating because when u pull up to the window there's like 5 people . I work at 5 guys where everything is made from scratch and I can make a burger in fries in under 5 minutes where everything is made fresh nothing is frozen and 5 mcdonalds employees with a manager on shift can't get my mc pick 2 out in under 27 minutes? Ordered a double hamburger and received a hamburger. Went inside to have order correct. Received a double hamburger with 1 1/2 patties.
