    My Grand daughter
    Mark o.

I stopped in to add a little Christmas cheer with my grand daughter and heard wild cuss words in the kitchen area .. not a family environment !!!! The employees have no manners dropping F bombs !! How embarrassing my 2 nd grader had to hear such smut !! Merry Christmas to all

This is a dried up beef chalupa

I ordered a beef chalupa and I get a dried out overly cooked beef chalupa. Also when I opened my bag one of the tacos wasn't wrapped good and it all fell in the bag so that wasn't good either.

Thanks for both peices of meat.. this was more like dog food but I wouldnt insult my dog like that. What a waste of money

Wasnt looking for a high end experience.. but cmon. This was barely edible and just gross. They did me a favor by not putting any of their dried out meat on it.

    Drive tru

This Taco Bell is top notch food is always good and service is nice I even eat here when I'm sober!!

    Cheesy Roll Up

Bruh sent me unmelted cheese in a raw tortilla. Didn't even put everything in my bag and it was all cold. Didn't even pick up the phone when I tried to call either. Let me catch whoever was working.

Messed up my simple chicken and cheese quesadilla order. Waited 15+ minutes for it and window girl was rude. Never gonna go here again.

I felt like her smile was hypnotizing me and all the sudden in my head I heard get some more tacos, so before I knew it I had ordered four more HARD shell tacos.

It has about what is expected which is margaritas along with burritos and tacos. Good enough. The prices are kind of high for being average as well as portions. Big restaurant with lots of room for groups. It's got a bar area along with the rest of it. There was more than enough space as there was hardly anyone in it though. Even with it being in the evening. We were the only ones at first then a few more came later. A few pretty good things here. It's about $11 for a margarita. Got the Prickly Pear and it was pretty good. They at least use strong tequila. It's about $16 for a burrito. We each got the Veggie Burrito, which is one of the few options without any meat. Comes with cheese and crema which I left off, but still had enough in it. There were beans, lettuce, and tomatoes and it came with beans and rice. For sure it's pretty okay for Americanized Mexican food. It's not authentic but it's still way better than Taco Bell junk. There's many other restaurants around here with the same kind of food at better prices meaning we aren't in a hurry to get back here soon.

The interior is modern, festive, and inviting, with a lively bar and an open, clean layout. Right off the bat, we were treated to complimentary chips and salsa, and let me tell you--this might have been the highlight of the night. The salsa was bursting with flavor (hands down the best I've had at any Mexican restaurant), and the chips were clearly fresh, not just poured from a bag. For drinks, we tried the Santo Horchata and the Coconut Margarita. Both were strong, balanced, and refreshing--no watered-down cocktails here. We ordered a spread of dishes to really test the menu: Tortilla Soup, a Chicken Burrito Bowl, and five different tacos--Al Pastor, Crispy Pork Belly, Shrimp & Chorizo, Tajin & Agave Chicken, and Carne Asada. * The Tortilla Soup was immaculate--rich, flavorful, and carrying just the right kick of spice. * The Chicken Burrito Bowl was generous and far superior in quality compared to chain restaurants trying to do the same thing. * And the tacos? Worth the hype. Here's how I'd rank them: 1. Crispy Pork Belly - an unexpected standout, tender and packed with flavor, elevated even more by the sauce. 2. Tajin & Agave Chicken - no wonder this one won Best Taco. 3. Shrimp & Chorizo - unique and hearty. 4. Carne Asada - solid and flavorful. 5. Al Pastor - tasty, but outshined by the others. All in all, Don Joses is easily the best Mexican restaurant we've had in New Lenox. From the atmosphere and service to the unforgettable chips & salsa, strong drinks, and outstanding food, this spot is a 10/10 must-try.

A lot of them don't even need any help from alcohol. They're just naturally annoying to be honest. Coming in here the first time it had a crowd. It's more than the staff can handle. This is a place to expect to wait to be greeted, wait to place an order, wait to finally get food, wait to get the check, and wait to get card or change back and then can't wait to get the fuck out. Chaotic. It's about $6 for whiskey. Has a crap ton to choose from. There's food but it's nothing good really. It's about $10 for appetizers such as the Pretzel Bites. Unique take on it as instead of being made from frozen pellet things, this instead was like a torn up pretzel in pieces. Most of the rest of the menu is meaty. They have BLT, Italian beef, and others. Great place for watching sports if there's also a contest for who can be loudest. It's located in the plaza with a few other things but most of the cars are of people in here it seems. This place is chaos at all times.

We ordered for pickup and the food was ready in just 15 minutes. The inside felt modern and minimal, with limited seating and a steady crowd of diners and takeout customers, which is always a good sign. We tried the shrimp spring rolls, chicken Pad Thai, drunken noodles with chicken, and the chicken pineapple fried rice. First off, those shrimp spring rolls? 10/10. Super fresh, light, and the perfect way to kick off the meal. The Pad Thai--Oy's signature dish--was the highlight. Easily the best I've ever had. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The drunken noodles were right behind it--loaded with flavor and a sneaky little heat. We went with the normal spice level, but beware: those little red peppers pack a serious punch. (Keep a tissue handy... or a glass of milk. Or both.) The pineapple fried rice was solid. Not quite as bold or savory as Chinese-style fried rice, but still tasty and a nice complement to the spicier mains. Overall, Oy's delivers some of the best Thai food in the south suburbs. The menu is short and sweet, but every dish is cooked to order--and it shows. If you're new to Thai food or just looking to level up your takeout game, this spot is absolutely worth it.
