The last two trip to this restaurant has been very subpar. First trip the meat which was steak was so dry. It was hard to chew and swallow. The second occasion the flour tortillas were so flaky that when you picked them up, they basically fell apart, and all the meat fell out of them and had to be eaten with a fork. I ordered over $600 worth of catered food and none of it was right. I called to complain as was told it was what we ordered and I was wrong. None of the dishes were correct. I could understand one item off, but to have 3 meat items wrong is unacceptable. I did not receive a discount of anything. I used to love this place, but won't be ordering from them again. Ordered the steak taco dinner and added sour Creme and pico d gio to them. So good and full. The rice is also very good. Cheese quesadilla has a nice amount of cheese. Drove passed the narrow drive through and decided I needed to try it . Quick u-turn and I was in the drive up line . Randomly ordered cheese fries , corn in the cup , chimichanga and gorditas . I enjoyed it all . The food was piping hot and best eaten right away . Steam turns to numerous water droplets in the Styrofoam container . The chimichanga turned wet and limp . I still liked it but waiting for dinning area to reopen before I order that again . The person who took my order was very precise about how I wanted it prepared and repeated the order back . First thing I said after "I'd like to customize a burrito" was "No beans, no lettuce." I HATE refried beans and soggy lettuce. First several bites of my burrito? Beans and lettuce. I am very clear when I order, I'm loud & specific, and the nice lady acknowledged what I said so I don't think it was her fault. They DID add the rice that was supposed to be INSTEAD of beans. There was a little onion & cilantro as requested, but no tomato that was supposed to be there, and no chunky salsa as I asked for. (We discussed what kind. The good chunky kind they serve with chips. She was on board.) And I ate 1/3 of the burrito and have yet to run into any of the guacamole I paid extra for; maybe it's at the other end? Don't know but the total was $14 with the one burrito, a small horchata & nothing else (well, 3 small cups of the standard runny green salsa; not NEARLY enough for a burrito of this size) and I live too far to go back so...here we are. 2 points for it being hot, fresh, pretty good carnitas, and almost 2 pounds of food, and 1 point for the nice lady & the fast service in the drive through. The manager should be fired! I am done with this place!! Placed an order through Uber eats last week. Part of the order was two chicken tacos on flour. There was no option to check for cilantro and onion so I put "only onion and cilantro" (very common way to order tacos) In the notes. The order arrives with the two chicken tacos plain , chicken on flour tortillas. I fed them to my dogs. I called the manager who said there was nothing she could do because they did nothing wrong! lol. Really?? Nobody read the short note!!! I asked for a credit for two tacos (a whopping $8.50) and she wouldn't do it. She said the owner would call me but that never happened! I was thinking an owner is going to call me to argue about $8.50?? lol My family went to this place often, probably an average of three times a month. So do friends of ours! We are done with this place! I'll inform the others as well! There are much better options in the area! My taco is 100x better! CATERING MENU REVIEW (DURING COVID) Bought two nights cater menu for over 125 first-line responders total. The nurses and hospital assistants loved their "Meal Train" events. Ray, the manager was very helpful in setting up Holiday catering meal for hospital staff, and was able to change to individually wrapped and packed taco meals, in place of a large cater trays. The fajitas were also a big hit. Positive experience, as Ray was also flexible to help with a few vegetarian and gluten-free requests. I've eaten in and done their VERY reasonably priced catering. Delicious to say the least. The restaurant is clean and bright and not too noisy and good for eat-in. The catering is inexpensive and tasty and flexible. The offer multiple choices within a fixed per person price. Staff is friendly and accommodating, especially for the catering.
