Sad to say the Breznay's, who own this McDonald's have grown too large to keep up with their operations. This place used to be great, food and service was always spot on but last night I've eaten my last meal there. I have not had an order correct in my last 5 trips, my Big Mac had to be thrown away as the buns were as hard as crackers, the filet o fish was smashed and looked like it had been dropped in the floor and an order of 10 chicken McNuggets had 5. When I got to the window where you pick up your order I went over it once again with the young girl. All verified that I had a quarter pounder with pickel and onion only. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE WHEN I GOT HOME I FOUND MY QUARTER POUNDER HAD DOUBLE CHEESE, MUSTARD AND KETCHUP. IS THAT THE HELP JUST DOESN'T CARE OR PAY ATTENTION OR ARE THEY JUST THAT STUPID. Just experienced the absolute worst service at the McDonald's Morton Illinois location. Store number 6119. The female manager on shift as of 6:30 to 6:58 pm with the short black hair and 5 foot 2 inches tall black glasses SHOULD NOT be managing employees! When the employee who took our order screwed up she snapped at her and cut her down in front of customers. A gentleman from the parking lot who had been waiting 23 minutes for his order came in to check where it was and it was sitting on the back counter. She screamed at a girl named Atlas about not doing her job in front of customers again. Then HANDED SAID PERSON his food that had been sitting 23 minutes instead of remaking it. He looked at ys and said good luck, this place is insanity. After waiting 20 minutes for our own food and listening to her yell at yet another 2 people we demanded money back to leave. She refused to give her name and then threatened the other manager on duty to not give out her name. Your corporation needs to know you have an abusive, disorganized, manager at that store who harrasses instead of helps and who yells instead of does. Slow service...very slow. If they are going to run two drive-thru lanes, put an employee in the drive-thru that can handle it! Coffee tastes like dish water. I was yelled at tonight through the drive thru window by the manager after I kindly asked for the boy working the window to cap off the soda he handed me that was not filled all the way. All he or the manager had to do was tell me with a different tone and volume and it would have been fine, but the manager came over to the window, handed me my food, and proceeded to yell at me for asking for my drink to be capped off. At first I thought she was snarking at me that he couldn't fill it bc of sanitary reasons. I did not know that the machine automated with a setting for certain amount. Believe me, I know that now. Friendly staff and good service. My issue is the parking. It takes just as long to exit the parking lot as it does to order and sit down to eat your meal. The parking set up stinks. The lines of vehicles in line for the drive thru block your exit...can't back up to exit your parking space unless a vehicle is kind enough to allow you space. We were attempting to exit for about 20 minutes until finally someone allowed us to back up our vehicle (SUV) to exit. Never again! Normally I wouldn't write a review about fast food restaurant that I've only been to once but they rubbed me the wrong way. I went to the counter to order 2 shamrock shakes and a McFlurry. The person taking the order was clearly a manager by their uniform. Mid-order she walks away and passes the register to an employee who promptly asks, "Will that be all?" Yes it will. The order I received was 1 shamrock shake and a McFlurry. I don't fault the employee. She probably assume the manager got my whole order before walking away. I order 3 things. It wouldn't have been hard for the manager to complete the whole order. That would have assured my ordered was placed correctly. I had to get back in line. I overhead the people who were behind me the first time complaining about the place too. My little cousins enjoyed the playland though. That's all that really matters. This is a good location to grab something to eat real quick. Sometimes they seem to be very dis-organized. The drive-through can get backed up pretty far due to the small parking lot. Better than average McDs. They have renovated the place and it is nice. There is a kids play place. It probably is too big for two year olds and under, but it is nice. Seems new and clean. Food was hot. Place was clean. They have the new kiosks which seems to help them to get help where it is needed. Managers were on duty and kitchen floor and bathrooms looked clean. Agreed with others about the parking lot and turning back on, but had no issues. This is a nice on and off from the interstate if you are going from Davenport to Bloomington. It's actually not that far off (a mile or so) if you are going from Springfield to Davenport. read more

It's a typical McDonald's in small town Morton (quite possibly the only one I know of). They just built a new playground which is pretty awesome and their service is above average. If you're just swinging through the area, it's a nice place to stop by with a lot of gas stations in the area. read more

they pay no attention to food allergies. my friend, who is allergic to onions, was served onions in a snack wrap. i hope this was on accident but when it was brought to the manager's attention, she turned her back. said "those might be onions" and then turned her back. i called corporate to complain because when i called the store to complain, i was hung up on. my complaint call was chalked up to a prank call when the manager that she spoke to said that her being allergy to onions was a lie, which i know for a fact to be truth. the store manager laughed about it and that was the end of it. snack wraps do not have onions in them the way they are ordered, but no action was made to replace it. my friend had rashes and had to get an epinephrine injection just so her throat wouldn't close. if you have any food allergy, don't go to Morton McDonald's. read more
