I'd never been before, but I'd been wanting to try it for a long time. As soon as I walked in, I noticed two ordering kiosks with people waiting in line. Before I could even figure out what to do, a young lady with the biggest smile greeted me and asked if she could help. Her name was Patty. I told her it was my first visit, and she patiently explained the menu, especially the different spice levels. Since I enjoy spicy food, I confidently ordered the Hot level. Looking back... I may have been a little overconfident! When my food was ready, Patty brought it to my table with the same genuine smile she greeted me with. The food looked incredible, and the chicken was juicy and delicious--but after a few bites, I realized the Hot level was hotter than I had imagined. I laughed to myself and thought, "Next time, I'm definitely ordering one level lower." A few minutes later, Patty came back to check on me because it was my first visit. I told her the food was great, but I'd overestimated my spice tolerance. Without hesitation she said, "I'll change it for you." I immediately told her, "No, it's okay. I don't want you to waste food." She smiled and replied, "I want you to enjoy it." That simple statement really impressed me. In today's world, you don't hear that very often. It reminded me of something I had just read about Dave's Hot Chicken--"Keep us honest." Patty truly lived that philosophy. She wasn't just serving food; she genuinely wanted my first experience to be a great one. The food was excellent, but Patty's kindness and customer service made the experience memorable. That's the kind of employee every business hopes to have. I'll definitely be back--and hopefully Patty will be there again. Thank you, Patty, for making my first visit such a great one. You turned a first-time customer into a returning one.

The staff were friendly and always available, since we can go to the ordering station to ask questions, we asked for picked jalapeños and carrots to go with our food. They gave us a bunch of them in bags. Everything was good, I would say that my favorite is still their zucchini fries and ranch, I love their ranch and glad they gave us a couple containers because I needed more. Definitely a great bite to grab, I think I prefer snacks from here like their huge portion of fries but their burgers are really good as well.

I noticed they had a grill with open flames and thought their burgers must have that nice smoky charred taste, so I got a pastrami cheeseburger. The breakfast burritos were both good and filling, but there was nothing about it that stood out over some of the other burger spots around Monrovia. The pastrami cheeseburger unfortunately had no charred flavor at all. It didn't even have any grill marks, so I'm not sure what the open flame was reserved for. What tasted like thousand island dressing overpowered the beef and pastrami, so I mostly tasted the sweet sauce. Well, we got what we were craving, but I was left disappointed. That's just me expecting too much from a $11. burger, from a place that has the same name as me, and the word 'Burger' in its name.

When I went to pay at the drive-through,, the girl told me that I ordered a WGAR, I've never heard of that. I politely said," I ordered a flying Dutchman." she tried to explain to me what I ordered, and I told her that I know what I ordered. When I got the order, it was this weird onion, lettuce, wrap thing, that didn't resemble anything of a flying Dutchman. I've noticed that the people that they have recently hired, seemed kind of clueless when you go up to order. I've never had this problem with any of the other stores, it's just been the Monrovia location. Make sure you, double and triple check your order when you get it.

I can see that there are often several employees working at the front, and they do seem busy. At the same time, it sometimes looks like they are under a lot of pressure, especially when one employee is handling several customers at once. Maybe that is why they seem so rushed when serving customers. I understand that working in a busy restaurant can be stressful and tiring. However, **the way some employees interact with customers can sometimes feel impatient, rushed, and even somewhat aggressive.** It makes the experience uncomfortable. What I find most noticeable is that many employees often have an expression that makes it seem like **they don't really want to be there.** I don't expect employees to smile all the time or be overly cheerful, but a little more patience, professionalism, and courtesy toward customers would make a big difference. I like Chipotle and I keep coming back because I enjoy the food. The inside was like long dining hall with tables and chairs along each side and booths at the back. The guy at the counter was very friendly and was chatting with each customer. The breakfast burrito was made fresh with scrambled eggs, hash brown, bacon. It was a good size - enough to share for me and my hubby!

So... I ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich from the drive-thru. I was in a hurry, so I was just going to eat it in my car in the parking lot. I open up the box and the sandwich looks like it has been sitting under the heat lamp for 2 days. The bread was hard as a rock, the chicken looked like drift wood and the lettuce looked like some sort of green slimy science experiment. Ok fine... sometimes these things happen. I go inside to get a new one. There is this dude behind the register with long red hair and lipstick. Scary combination. He doesn't even look up when I approach.... he's messing with the cash register and says, "my I help you". He's still looking down screwing around with the register so I don't even know if he's talking to me. I wait patiently for princess to finish. Then he finally looks up and seems all put out that I didn't answer him right away. Screw this guy. Learn how greet people and do your job, ass. I'm not being mean to this guy because of his "unique" fashion sense... I'm being mean because this guy is a douche. He shows the manager my sandwich... she doesn't believe that I was in the drive-thru until I show her the receipt. I finally I get a new sandwich but the manager and the register kid both need to go back to customer service school. And yeah I know, it's Mcdonalds... customer service isn't a priority. The pompous arrogant obnoxious imbecile failed to recognize their incompetence. PUT MEAT IN THE DAMN CHEESEBURGER! My pregnant wife and boys were famished and I was out voted.
