However, this McDonald's has: 4 Touchscreen play devices for kids The table with colored touch to light Plenty of seating area 4 Skip the line and Order by kiosk You can still order and pay at cashier station Gendered Restrooms without a code to enter Order to Table service (most McDs don't actually do this but they do) Can ask staff to switch happy meal toys if they have it What they don't have: Play-area/zone Drink fountain station Working touchscreen play table (they have one that doesn't work) Leaves orders and food for mobile order (so you do have to tell staff your order number and they'll bring it) this may be due to and increase of ppl taking orders that aren't theirs. The place is nice, and sometimes it's a hit or miss... The AC is working and sometimes it's not so a bit hot and stuffy. When it's busy it's a long wait for orders to be ready and hard to ask for a refill on drinks. When it's not busy the staff is super helpful. They are always helpful and respond to my questions. When using the McDonald's App, be sure to check the location you are at for payment and ordering. Once I ended up ordering, and found out it was sent to La Canada Flintridge. So, I cautiously ordered and waited for a cashier to confirm my order. Everything went through for this location and I confirmed payment was made too. I couldn't believe that this particular McDonald's doesn't t do free refills on coffee when having breakfast in lobby. I can't imagine that one free refill will break the franchise. This McDonald's location in Monrovia is one located on Huntington Dr. It's designed as one of the old timey ones, I"m not sure if it's because of the original locations was out here and so this one has a very unique design. This was one of the earlier adopters of having kiosks that are at all the locations now. The store itself isn't huge but the drive-through tends to loop around the building and take up a lot of space. As a pro tip, be sure to check the mobile app for deals and coupons especially with out expensive food can now. You also can also get your food quicker if you mobile order. Overall, this location is fairly standard and there is an too much to complain about. There's plenty of parking outside as well. There is a lot of parking here in this plaza. read more

Adriana was one of the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever encountered. I ordered breakfast through the app before their cutoff time and they wouldn't fulfill my order because they said they don't start making it until I arrive?? How does that make sense it's a mobile order you make it right when you receive so that I am able to pick up right when I get there... then I'm speaking to the drive thru rep and a female voice comes on won't give me her name and tells me she will when I come to the window. Proceeds to not give me her name even though she's in a public facing job and anonymity goes out the window. I asked what her managers name is, she said Naomi, and that she's busy right now. I told her to make her un-busy because I'm not leaving until I get to report her attitude and get my refund. Never once did they offer a solution, to walk me through cancelling the order or apologize for the inconvenience. Plus their reasoning for not fulfilling didn't make sense. I hope this can be looked into and Adriana and anyone else involved can be retrained how to deal with customers in a polite and courteous manner. I do not recommend this location go somewhere else. This is my second review for this McDonalds. Ordered a happy mean and a small s'mores McFlurry. I checked the food and it was correct since they have a history of giving the wrong items ordered. The new McFlurry cups fold so you can't see the top and when we got home it wasn't a smores but an Oreo one. The receipt even says smores. I just don't understand how almost every single time our ordered are messed up. It shouldn't be this difficult and now the phone just rings. No one answers. I actually like the food served here and most of the time they aren't wrong, depending on what time of day you go. There was an offer for no delivery fee to use the McDonald's app, so I went for it since I was hungry. I ordered two Big Mac meals (different sizes) and one with some extras on the Big Mac. I ordered some guava/cheese pies and some apple pies which were 2/$1. My order got forwarded to Uber Eats. When it came, I only had one Big Mac meal. I got in the car and drove to the store. For some reason the lobby was closed so I had to get into drive thru. When I got to the speaker, I told the person I had just got a delivery and it was wrong. He asked me what I meant by that. I told him it was incorrect, and he asked again. I told him I ordered to meals and got one. He told me to drive up. When I got to the window there was only two people I could see. I think the person I was talking to was the manager. He looked at me and asked me what was wrong. And asked if I had the order, so I showed it to him. As I was explaining, he finished my sentence by telling me what was wrong with my order. I told him, "so you do know what I'm talking about!" He then explained that for some reason the store did not get my order, so when the driver showed up he tried to show them the order on his phone but it was in Chinese, so the driver read the order out loud to them and that's why it was wrong. The manager started to hand me another drink, and I told him I already had it. He said the one I already had was wrong because he just guessed what i wanted so he gave me a Coke although I ordered an iced tea. He was not really apologetic but made it right. I went home and then realized I had 4 guava pies and no apple. I called Uber Eats and explained all the things that went wrong, but it seems maybe someone could have just called me? Why guess at an order? There are a lot of problems with the app in my experience. They need to work things out. read more

If I'm in this area I come to this MCD's. It's located in the same plaza as Walgreens (Huntington Drive & Mayflower Avenue). I always do drive-thru & they are open pretty late. Be prepared to wait a more than 10 min though. They get pretty busy. Make sure to check your order before you drive off (I was missing some items the first time & didn't realize until I got home). For the most part food is warm (with a few exceptions), you have to ask for sauces at the pick up window (they do forget to add them sometimes if you ask before), fries are always yummy! read more

MY UN-HAPPY MEAL @ McDONALD'S The last several times I've been to this McDonald's drive-thru and ordered my daughter a Happy Meal, I ended up with a medium-sized drink rather than a kid's small. I didn't think much of it the first few times it happened because it was part of a larger order and I assumed they were out of the small-sized cups or something - but the last two times, I asked. I was told at the pick-up window that I was receiving a medium-sized drink because that was what I'd ordered from the young man at the menu board; I hadn't, but I chose to let the misunderstanding go. Just two days ago, it happened again, and so I asked, "why was I being given a medium-sized drink when I'd only ordered a kids' Happy Meal?" Again, the answer was that I'd ordered it. I assured her I had not, and she offered to refund the difference. I said I would appreciate that, though I was sure it was only a few cents. When I asked how much the difference was, she said, "two nineteen." Two dollars and nineteen cents? Was she kidding me? So, they've been increasing the price of the $6.49 six-piece Happy Meal to $8.68 by up-sizing the drink whether you request it or not? The audacity of them!
