Just came by to get a couple of hot apple pies, the problem is they weren't HOT. Not even close I asked kindly if we can get 2 HOT Pies as they were not. The crew member gave them to manager who then turned around and put them in the microwave oven. I was shocked to see him do this he even saw me watching him. What a joke, I asked for a refund he shook his head at me and gave me my refund as he clearly didn't care one bit. You've been warned I will never set foot in this place ever again. Terrible. Just terrible. Ordered doordash before work and usually the wait isn't long, but today I was waiting for my order for almost an HOUR AND A HALF! Then I just cancelled it, completely ridiculous to take that long to make 1 meal and a drink! Also a couple days before this happened, went there to get a meal for my hubby and got myself a SMALL coffee which I had to pull up front and wait for. I've gone here quite a few times and usually forget to write these review. They are usually all bad for this location. There are a few good employees at this locations, but mostly bad customer service. Today, we tried to use an app. (it was buy the item get another for a dollar. This should up on the McDonald app. The person at the cash register (Brandon) immediately said that they do not have the coupon. He didn't even attempt to run the coupon on the screen. It showed on the McDonald app, therefore it should be at that location. I asked if the manager knew about this, and supposed they did. As this part of the conversation went on, he was quieter and did not make eye contact. This McDonald really needs to get there act together. It WILL eventually lose all/most costumers. If I could give zero stars I would've. I know we don't expect high quality food, or excellent customer service from McDonald's; they're fast, convenient, and somewhat cheap. I tell them about all the other things I've paid for and never received. A manager, named Ana, says she's sorry and if I come back she'll give me the Big Mac and a free large fry. A large fry?!?! Seriously? I already got the stupid large fry! So, now it's 8 at night, I drive 3 miles back to this McDonald's with my receipt to get my daughter's dinner. Again, she says she's sorry and offers me the large fry. I told her, we had fries (this time) and we don't need large fries. She has this dumbfounded look on her face like she didn't understand why I'd turn down such a generous offer, and obviously didn't know what to say. I told her I'm kind of thirsty and would like something to drink. She said ok, and ordered my Big Mac. She handed me my Big Mac and proceeded to tell me to gave a good evening and, again, she was sorry for the mistake. I reminded her, once again, I was thirsty and would like some water. Water! She gave me a paper cup. Then I was dumbfounded. I said that I'd actually would prefer a Dasani bottled water. She looked at me like she couldn't believe I'd ask for something like that. A water, in a bottle! If you frequent this McDonald's, please, please, please check your bag. And if you need to speak with a manager, don't ask for Ana. On a high note she did take down my name and said to call every time this happens. Well, Ana, I have some advise for you: How about you make sure this doesn't happen again? There's a novelty idea for managing your little McDonald's restaurant. But, making $11.00 an hour, I guess it's ok to just not care or take any pride in your job. But, it's McDonald's... (In my opinion) I stop at this McDonald's from time to time to get a coffee or breakfast . Im usually here in the earlier in the day , and no matter what time I come in , there is always a petite hispanic lady cleaning . No exaggeration , theres always something being cleaned and cleaned right! Bathroom is always spotless and smells fresh. Tops of toilet paper rack and handles and rails are wet with cleaner, places people usually skip. I feel comfortable grabbing something to eat here . I can appreciate the effort and taking pride in work place, making sure it is extra clean. For that reason I give this place 5 stars. Dear McDonald's, I've stopped by your restaurant on many occasion's after leaving the Modesto Veterans clinic. Today the the very worst I've witnessed poor management of any store I've been to. There 4 people in front of me waiting in line, after about 3 min. they all walked out the door. I stood at the counter for about 2 more min. still no one to my order. I saw a lady in black pants asked her if some one was working the counter. With a smart remark "someone will be there shortly". waited another 3 min. I go here occasionally in the morning for an egg McMuffin and a coffee. The service is incredibly slow, so slow that I no longer use the drive-thru because the wait times can be unpredictable and maddening(20+ minutes). It's faster to order inside using a kiosk, it typically takes 10-15 minutes to get your food. This place has really been going downhill in the last few years. The wait times are excessive and they continually make mistakes on our orders. Today for example, I order 20 piece nuggets and 4 large unsweetened iced teas. It took 10 minutes to get from the speaker to the first window and another 10 minutes to get to the second window. They give sweet tea and when I explained that it should have been unsweetened they argued with me that their screen showed sweet. I showed them my receipt with unsweetened and asked if they could correct it. I was told that will be fine but that I needed to go park in front while they made some unsweetened tea. I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes. I went in to see what was taking so long and was told that they were currently brewing the tea but it would be ready in about 3 minutes. I asked for a refund on the drinks so that I could just leave as I had already been there for more than 30 minutes waiting and was told that they would need to get their manager to do that. I waited for the manager. While I was waiting they finally brought me my drinks. The manager then had time to ask if there was anything else. I told her that I was very displeased with the service and excessive wait time and received an I'm sorry but we are busy. Avoid using this store unless you like to wait almost an hour and then have cold food. read more
