Morning drive through is ok, however the dining room customers are basically ignored. All emphasis is on the drive-through. If you need to speak to someone you have to keep looking over the side and waiting a long while to be acknowledged. read more

Terrible service always! Wait times are unnecessarily long and could use plenty of work. Food occasionally comes out cold or completely missing! Welp. We went in with the plan to dine in, but quite literally, all the tables were dirty, crumbs, and / or spills (sadly, my pictures don't do it justice). Now, they don't have the napkins out since they removed the drink and condiment dispensers. I went to ask the one person at the counter who was dismissive and rude. I was attempting to ask for napkins to wipe the table. She pointed to another person who was "there first" I informed her I was not trying to order but rather wanted a table cleaned, she said someone will do that in a minute. Someone quite literally came out about 5 minutes later and asked, "Is there a particular table you want cleaned?" At this point, I'm annoyed and tell them,"all of them." The person then goes back behind the counter and didn't end up cleaning any of them. Awesome service, right? We ordered on the McDonald's app, and fortunately, they got that right. Fries were minimally stale. Took it to go. read more

I think it's ridiculous that I ordered something through the mobile app to the curbside pick up and I didn't even get the right stuff. I'm honestly kinda upset. I ordered one of the snack wraps. The ranch snack wrap and they gave me a spicy one when I didn't order a spicy and I didn't order a spicy because I can't have spicy and I'm honestly very upset because as soon as I got home, I bit straight into it and now I'm gonna have issues all night because they straight up fucking neglected to read if it was regular or spicy and just made it spicy and caught it a fucking day so whoever made my fucking food tonight go fuck yourself read more

Ordered a large lemonade. Received a medium. When asked, the worker in the hi-viz vest told me it was a large. When I pointed out that a large looked a lot different the week prior when I last ordered a lemonade, he stated it was "new policy" that large lemonades now look suspiciously like a medium. When I got home and took a drink, it tasted like someone had put a single drop of lemon in a glass of water. It was obvious that he had run out of lemonade and put the tiny bit left in a medium cup and filled the rest with water. I would have appreciated a heads-up so I could have ordered something else, since lemonade is twice the price as any other drink. Instead I was lied to because he couldn't be bothered actually doing customer service. I feel kind of scammed paying extra for lemonade and being given vaguely lemony water in a cup half the size I paid for. read more

Not vegetarian friendly. Not once Not twice but three times I've had horrible experiences. I think because I ordered items without meat. It's been through the drive thru and most recently using the McDonald's app. They left out items from my meal like the hashbrowns, the egg from my egg Mcmuffin, a coffee specialty drink, and the entire sausage Mcmuffin minus the sausage = no Mcmuffin at all. And the rude loud guy that mops has been an issue at least twice. Blocking the entrance door, talking loud about something he wasn't happy with at work I think and being intimidating I will not ever try again. It's on the way to work but I don't care. I've lost money going there since they didn't give me food I paid for, that crazy guy and I think I got food poisoning the last time. Oh and they treat vegetarians and vegans horribly. read more

It's sucks to suck. McDonald's doesn't care anymore. 15 minutes for a human to acknowledge a lobby full of customers. We were not greeted hence, we left and went elsewhere for lunch. It was 130 in the afternoon. For $20 bucks an hour you'd think one of the bots would have taken our order. Dear franchise owner, if this is the best you can do, try harder. Went to this McDonalds around 4:30 on a Tuesday. After ordering, it took about 12 miniutes to get my order. I'd ordered to dine inside but was given a bag at the table. Both my son's meal and mine was awful. He got 2 "hot apple pies" that were both cold, and I got a chicken sandwich that was completely dry with no mayonnaise at all, and cold. My fries were also cold as well as the chicken nuggets. The only thing okay was my Dr Pepper. Will not be going to this location again. Likely one reason the place was empty except for my son and I. read more

My 76 year old dad was assaulted inside the McDonald's on Oakdale Rd and Scenic because my dad was trying to order his food but no one would come to the front to take his order. Finally a lady came out and took his order, he gave her cash in her hand and placed the exact change on the counter. The employee rudely told him to pick up the change and put it in her hand. My dad has arthritis in his hands and couldn't. He asked her how come she couldn't pick up the change? So, she finally did and disappeared into the back without giving my dad his receipt with his order number. My dad called her to return but she never did, instead some guy popped out from the back and gave him his receipt then disappeared again. The guy standing in line behind my dad began complaining to him about how he was talking to the workers and threatened physical harm against my dad. My dad tried to ignore him but the guy started using swear words and my dad gave him some swear words back and sat down to wait for his order. The guy then ordered his food, paid for it and instead of waiting for his order, he went outside and paraded around the front of the building giving my dad and the customers inside the middle finger and acting bizarre and laughing. My dad opened the door and told him that this wasn't worth fighting over and that's when the guy picked up a yellow cone from the front of the store and threw it in my dad's face then sucker punched him in the face. My dad was knocked out. The guy then sped off. None of the workers tried to stop the guy. None of the workers called the police or an ambulance. They were too busy goofing off in the back and never saw what happened. Eye witnesses took pics of the guy's truck and license plate and gave them to the store manager and told my dad that he didn't do anything to deserve to get assaulted. When my brother and I got to the McDonald's, an employee was hosing my dad's blood off the pavement. My brother called the police and I called the paramedics because the large gash on my dad's head was still bleeding from when he hit the door when he got knocked out. The store employees lied and said my dad called them mf'ers, when it was the guy who was calling my dad an mf'er. The district manager then blamed my dad for the entire incident and my dad had to sign a 1 year restraining order. My dad regrets signing it because it's basically an admittance of guilt. I know this doesn't get a lot of traffic, but I'm hoping an eyewitness from the incident will read this and help us straighten up the facts and get the restraining order reversed and help us do something about the owner and managers of this terrible store. This is the worst run McDonald's I've ever been in my life, to say the least. This store is trash and the employees are equally trash. read more

Just got off work, just wanted something simple to eat, I understand its almost closing time but this is the second time I get super rude customer service by the same lady! I'm not sure if she hates her job or what her deal is but very unprofessional and rude! Her "welcome" is what do you want!? And when I ask for something she followed it by saying "ok? What sauce?" Like if I knew what they offered! Go to the window and go to pay and no thank you or have a nice day and practically went to close the window in my face as I asked for my receipt and even then she pitched a fit and seemed bothered! I have made the mistake of stopping at this location several times because it is on the way to my destination. I have never had a correct order they have the most incompetent staff of all McDonald's. EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this McDonald's something is wrong, the fries are cold and hard, the soda is flat or something is missing. I live 4 minutes away from this store and I try to give them grace thinking it's just an off day. But no I've given this location so many chances and every time there is something wrong. Flat soda, cold fries missing items, and when I try to nicely bring it up to the employees I'm met with an attitude as if I'm the one that made the mistake and fixing their own mistake is inconvenient to them. It's the closet McDonalds to my home but I would rather drive 10 to 15 extra minutes just to get some decent food. This McDonald's is not the one! read more

This is one of thee worst McDonald's I have ever been to. Their drive thru is one of the slowest I have ever seen. Went here for lunch regrettably, patiently waited in line for 20 mins. Ordered my food was never told the total drove to the window paid the nasty looking girl (nasty attitude) at the window who proceeds to give my change but somehow drops all of my money on the floor and walks away nothing happened. Drive to the second window and got my food, got to work realized my whole order was cold. I don't mean slightly cold from the drive I mean not cooked all the way fries and cold as ice sandwich etc . Calling them did nothing, and unfortunately I don't have 2 lunch's to go back and have them correct it. So basically I wasted my time and money. Leaving a 1 star review is pointless because fast food is just that, however for me this is a prime example of using your wallet to make a stand. Why work here if your hate it? read more

I ordered thru the app and asked someone to pick the order up at curbside. Twice this has happened now, where the order disappears so I'm unable to let the restaurant know that I've got someone there to pick up the order. The person wasn't able to leave the car, so they waited and tried to get the employees attention when they came out with another order. The employee IGNORED them. They waited without another opportunity 40 minutes later, I told them to just forget it. I'm out close to $17 without a meal. Waited in line at the drive thru for breakfast. Just as I ordered the food and just as 10:31am hits they switched it to lunch. I paid and just as I got to second window they all of sudden tell me oh we canceled your order. We serving lunch. I was all like but I was in line before 10:30 so you guys should honor the breakfast. But the manager said no that's it's lunch and we out of breakfast (excuses) They are a nothing bunch of clueless clowns. That can't honor the breakfast but yet the other McDonald's franchises serves breakfast all day. And they still wouldn't refund me my money. And they still charged it. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! Twice now, two times in a row, my order has been wrong! Both times there has been zero effort made to rectify the problem. Not only have they refused to correct the problem, they point to a sign that states that due to COVID restrictions, no money or changes can be done at the second window. This is patently false. Other McDonalds take all money and orders from one window. They tell you to contact the corporate offices, yet no one ever returns your call. It seems to me the complaints are such a problem they have worked to find ways to circumvent finding solutions. Terrible customer service. Deeply disappointed in a company I have enjoyed my entire life. read more

Unfortunately this McDonald's wasn't accepting debit cards through the drive thru today, so they had everyone that is using a debit card to go to the front curbside and order using the app. I've been sitting here since 11:58 with nothing. It is now 12:25, everyone else in the drive thru is getting their order but me.. so frustrating. Melinda comes out a few times for other peoples orders & I had her look at my order. I received a confirmation number but she was saying they don't see it on their end. I was getting very impatient, hungry and frustrated, I didn't mean to take it out on her. I'm not sure if they were technology issues, so I had placed the order again. Finally I received my order at 12:30. Had it not been for Melinda's patience with me, I would have lost all my cool. Lol. Today, around 2;30 p.m., just before school let out, I knew the food would probably be fresh. Well, ordered the McDeal, reg. Chicken, not spicy, barbeque sauce for the mcnuggets with a REGULAR HONEY. Small coke. Have been going to this MdDonald, for years, on Mchenry cross the street from Pandera food. Have had more times than I care to count, the reg honey is mustard/honey. Paying the .25 cents for it. Having to check the order at the window now. The last 5 trips for my mcmeal, the reg chicken was spicy. I can not eat spicy. So, I give it to my adult kids. Today instead of checking for the honey, I left, stopped, checked in the parking lot and had to drive thru again...when the mustard honey was replaced, I left thinking I hoped the mcchicken was not spicy. Driving away, few blocks away, I pulled over on the residential street, took out the chicken, tore off a bite of the chicken, and again, it was spicy. I drove back, behind a line of several cars at the drive thru. Pulled up to the window where the order was given to me, told the young girl, I was not trying to be difficult, but this was the 4th time I got a spicy chicken. She said what color was the wrapper. I pulled it out, she said that was a reg. Okay, I said, sorry, but I know spicy when its' spicy. She took the chicken with the wrapper, said it was as reg wrapper. Okay. There was a person next to her, she told them the problem. They gave her another chicken. So, after this final trip of a kind of no response to why the chicken is spicy, I went home. And here is the same question of spicy vs. regular. apparently they do not give regular or they just don't know they are selling spicy instead of regular chicken. Now I am turned off at this particular order, and can't eat it. As the mcnuggets are just warmed over and flat. The fries negotiable. So, I guess I will be making my own chicken nuggets, which is better for my stomach. And as the saying goes. Won't be making that quick stop just cause I'm hungry. The decision has been made. read more

Worst service of my entire. Went through the drive thru and waited 35 minutes for "fast food". First, it took forever for them to get to the speaker, and then we waited in stand still line for 10 minutes. Finally got to the first window and that wen quickly. Second window took another 10 minutes. After waiting we got everything but one item and waited in the front for another 10 minutes all for a mcflurry. When inside, I saw them handing out mcflurrys to other customers and im just sitting her tapping my feet while my grandparents are in the car. Finally, I spoke up and they gave it to me. Decently clean inside. It's the drive thru their can be no one and they take forever. Not very friendly I've now been sitting at drive thru at pick up window and it was 4min before a person even noticed I was there! I got my order and it's wrong, they also "forgot" my frapp and I've been in drive thru total of 17min. I spoke to the shift lead or manager. She didn't care I said you should greet customers as they pull up a simple "hey sorry be with you as soon as possible" goes a long way. Also I work In customer service myself and I understand it gets hectic and everything can go wrong , people have bad days but this was just rude and unacceptable.. also I don't want to hear the lady making schedules complain about making schedules sharing her texts with the 3 staff members that are working.. then says "I'm just gonna walk out today" read more

I suspect most people aren't reading details about McDonald's on yelp prior to going but here's my 2 cents.
