Welp. We went in with the plan to dine in, but quite literally, all the tables were dirty, crumbs, and / or spills (sadly, my pictures don't do it justice). Now, they don't have the napkins out since they removed the drink and condiment dispensers. I went to ask the one person at the counter who was dismissive and rude. I was attempting to ask for napkins to wipe the table. She pointed to another person who was "there first" I informed her I was not trying to order but rather wanted a table cleaned, she said someone will do that in a minute. Someone quite literally came out about 5 minutes later and asked, "Is there a particular table you want cleaned?" At this point, I'm annoyed and tell them,"all of them." Ordered a large lemonade. Received a medium. When asked, the worker in the hi-viz vest told me it was a large. When I pointed out that a large looked a lot different the week prior when I last ordered a lemonade, he stated it was "new policy" that large lemonades now look suspiciously like a medium. When I got home and took a drink, it tasted like someone had put a single drop of lemon in a glass of water. It was obvious that he had run out of lemonade and put the tiny bit left in a medium cup and filled the rest with water. I would have appreciated a heads-up so I could have ordered something else, since lemonade is twice the price as any other drink. Not vegetarian friendly. Not once Not twice but three times I've had horrible experiences. I think because I ordered items without meat. It's been through the drive thru and most recently using the McDonald's app. They left out items from my meal like the hashbrowns, the egg from my egg Mcmuffin, a coffee specialty drink, and the entire sausage Mcmuffin minus the sausage = no Mcmuffin at all. And the rude loud guy that mops has been an issue at least twice. Blocking the entrance door, talking loud about something he wasn't happy with at work I think and being intimidating I will not ever try again. It's on the way to work but I don't care. I've lost money going there since they didn't give me food I paid for, that crazy guy and I think I got food poisoning the last time. Oh and they treat vegetarians and vegans horribly. read more

Went to this McDonalds around 4:30 on a Tuesday. After ordering, it took about 12 miniutes to get my order. I'd ordered to dine inside but was given a bag at the table. Both my son's meal and mine was awful. He got 2 "hot apple pies" that were both cold, and I got a chicken sandwich that was completely dry with no mayonnaise at all, and cold. My fries were also cold as well as the chicken nuggets. The only thing okay was my Dr Pepper. Will not be going to this location again. My 76 year old dad was assaulted inside the McDonald's on Oakdale Rd and Scenic because my dad was trying to order his food but no one would come to the front to take his order. Finally a lady came out and took his order, he gave her cash in her hand and placed the exact change on the counter. The employee rudely told him to pick up the change and put it in her hand. My dad has arthritis in his hands and couldn't. He asked her how come she couldn't pick up the change? So, she finally did and disappeared into the back without giving my dad his receipt with his order number. My dad called her to return but she never did, instead some guy popped out from the back and gave him his receipt then disappeared again. The guy standing in line behind my dad began complaining to him about how he was talking to the workers and threatened physical harm against my dad. My dad tried to ignore him but the guy started using swear words and my dad gave him some swear words back and sat down to wait for his order. The guy then ordered his food, paid for it and instead of waiting for his order, he went outside and paraded around the front of the building giving my dad and the customers inside the middle finger and acting bizarre and laughing. My dad opened the door and told him that this wasn't worth fighting over and that's when the guy picked up a yellow cone from the front of the store and threw it in my dad's face then sucker punched him in the face. My dad was knocked out. The guy then sped off. None of the workers tried to stop the guy. None of the workers called the police or an ambulance. They were too busy goofing off in the back and never saw what happened. Eye witnesses took pics of the guy's truck and license plate and gave them to the store manager and told my dad that he didn't do anything to deserve to get assaulted. When my brother and I got to the McDonald's, an employee was hosing my dad's blood off the pavement. My brother called the police and I called the paramedics because the large gash on my dad's head was still bleeding from when he hit the door when he got knocked out. The store employees lied and said my dad called them mf'ers, when it was the guy who was calling my dad an mf'er. The district manager then blamed my dad for the entire incident and my dad had to sign a 1 year restraining order. My dad regrets signing it because it's basically an admittance of guilt. I know this doesn't get a lot of traffic, but I'm hoping an eyewitness from the incident will read this and help us straighten up the facts and get the restraining order reversed and help us do something about the owner and managers of this terrible store. This is the worst run McDonald's I've ever been in my life, to say the least. This store is trash and the employees are equally trash. read more

Twice this has happened now, where the order disappears so I'm unable to let the restaurant know that I've got someone there to pick up the order. The person wasn't able to leave the car, so they waited and tried to get the employees attention when they came out with another order. The employee IGNORED them. Went here for lunch regrettably, patiently waited in line for 20 mins. Ordered my food was never told the total drove to the window paid the nasty looking girl (nasty attitude) at the window who proceeds to give my change but somehow drops all of my money on the floor and walks away nothing happened. Drive to the second window and got my food, got to work realized my whole order was cold. I don't mean slightly cold from the drive I mean not cooked all the way fries and cold as ice sandwich etc . Small coke. Have been going to this MdDonald, for years, on Mchenry cross the street from Pandera food. Have had more times than I care to count, the reg honey is mustard/honey. Paying the .25 cents for it. Having to check the order at the window now. The last 5 trips for my mcmeal, the reg chicken was spicy. I can not eat spicy. So, I give it to my adult kids. Today instead of checking for the honey, I left, stopped, checked in the parking lot and had to drive thru again...when the mustard honey was replaced, I left thinking I hoped the mcchicken was not spicy. Driving away, few blocks away, I pulled over on the residential street, took out the chicken, tore off a bite of the chicken, and again, it was spicy. I drove back, behind a line of several cars at the drive thru. Pulled up to the window where the order was given to me, told the young girl, I was not trying to be difficult, but this was the 4th time I got a spicy chicken. She said what color was the wrapper. I pulled it out, she said that was a reg. Okay, I said, sorry, but I know spicy when its' spicy. She took the chicken with the wrapper, said it was as reg wrapper. Okay. There was a person next to her, she told them the problem. They gave her another chicken. So, after this final trip of a kind of no response to why the chicken is spicy, I went home. And here is the same question of spicy vs. regular. apparently they do not give regular or they just don't know they are selling spicy instead of regular chicken. Now I am turned off at this particular order, and can't eat it. As the mcnuggets are just warmed over and flat. The fries negotiable. So, I guess I will be making my own chicken nuggets, which is better for my stomach. And as the saying goes. Won't be making that quick stop just cause I'm hungry. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me! Twice now, two times in a row, my order has been wrong! Both times there has been zero effort made to rectify the problem. Not only have they refused to correct the problem, they point to a sign that states that due to COVID restrictions, no money or changes can be done at the second window. This is patently false. Other McDonalds take all money and orders from one window. They tell you to contact the corporate offices, yet no one ever returns your call. It seems to me the complaints are such a problem they have worked to find ways to circumvent finding solutions. Terrible customer service. Unfortunately this McDonald's wasn't accepting debit cards through the drive thru today, so they had everyone that is using a debit card to go to the front curbside and order using the app. I've been sitting here since 11:58 with nothing. They won't even approach to ask if you need help.
