Ok 3 years after my first review, it's time to update. They have gotten loads better. Drivethru is quicker. food comes out like typical mcds food.. no more half empty fries or chicken burgers coming out all lopsided and falling apart anymore. Much much better. Oh my God. What McDonald's from hell is this. I went thru the drive thru and ordered lunch. They didn't have my order ready when I got to the window so they had me get out of line & park until it was ready. They had me park in a spot that said reserved which tells me this happens often. Not a good sign! It wasn't a complicated order so I don't understand why it took so long. I had to park & wait while cars that came after me got their order and drove off into the sunset. Usually id never review fast food but this is for the employees which im sure most people wouldnt do, the gentlemen manning the drive thru was super polite and friendly. Ive never had some1 so friendly take an order for me before. I think his name was ahmed. And the other asian gentlemen at the next window was so quite polite. The drinks all tasted like mold so we went back for a refund. We were told by two separate people to go to the second window of the drive thru. After waiting for about 5 minutes a third older lady came to the window with the order for the car behind us--she had no clue about the refund. As we told her what her coworkers had said she rudely told us that we had to go inside to get a refund. Then we tried explaining the situation and she was shaking her head telling us the machine was broken and we can't get a refund from the drive thru! At this point she was annoyed and giving so much attitude it was the worst customer service I've ever seen, especially at McDonald's when they're usually pretty nice. I can't really give any McDonalds any higher than a 4 on the principal that they are probably the unhealthiest place you can ever eat. I personally lost 87 pounds in the last year and the min thing I did to lose it was cut out all fast food, not just McDonalds, so I can't put the blame 100% on them, but they do get the brunt of it because they are the most popular, accessible, one of the cheapest and their food is assembly line made. Like Steve Martin said he had a theory that there is a vat in the balk of every McDonald with this stuff in it and it creates molds on a conveyer belt that look like what you order, squish, hamburger, squish, malt, squish, paper box, squish, here's your change. Thank You. Still, show doesn't like a cheeseburger once in a while and they do have some healthy choices like salads and the wraps aren't too bad. I have to say my favorite thing about McDonalds is their coffee. It used to taste like brown water, but they changed their bean or something years ago and started making fancy coffees like Fraps, mochas, lattes and ice mochas etc. Their coffee is the best now. I really mean it and I know what I'm talking about because coffee is my favorite drink. They are better than Cafino, Pete's and definitely Star Bucks. I go to McDonald just for the coffee. They really hit on something with that. Whoever thought of that as a genius, I am surprised oterh fast food place like Jack N the Box havn't jumped on the coffee band wagon because their coffee stinks. The customer service has almost always been satisfactory. I remember, when my dad was alive, he used to complain bout the one down the street from our house that they never looked at you when they were handing the food to you through the window at the drive through, so he always had to grapple with it. NEVER NEVER NEVER go this place is you are in hurry. Last time (about few months ago) I came to this place to buy a togo, it wasted me more than 20 mins waiting there. The line just became longer and longer, the people waiting inside is actually, more than those eating in there. Today, this place disappointed me again. Since this place is close to my work and I saw the line is not long, I decided to give this place another chance and do drive thru this time. BUT I waited like 10 minutes before I got to the ordering window...when It was not a lot of ppl? really? Ok and after I dont ordering, the wait time for pick up is another 20 mins. I received terrible service. The elderly woman who was the cashier was hard of hearing so I had to shout my order to her. They also took forever to make 2 big macs, and there was no one in front of us. Open 24 hours but very limited menu available after regular hours and staff put on those shifts are poorly trained, unsupervised and uncaring. Repeated wrong or missing orders and lack of concern. If you have to eat there check your bag carefully before leaving and be prepared to wait even if no one else is in line. We went in this McD on Friday the 3rd about 3:30PM. The place was chaos. About 8-10 people including myself waiting to put in our order. About the same number inside waiting for their order to be prepared. This was not a meal time. I looked in the kitchen and there was only one person assembling sandwiches. Several other employees were running around seemingly without purpose behind the counter only one of whom was taking orders. At the same time, they were trying to service drive-thru customers. The manager seemed to be totally unable to manage the situation to any effective extent. They have two soda machines and both were completely out of ice. The lack of ice was brought to the attention of the staff several times but to no effect. I waited for about 7-8 minutes to put in my order and then more than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. I was only getting a single burger, nothing else. When I left, there was still no ice in the soda machines and no employee had gone out to even check on them. What a complete fiasco. read more

A lot of people wondered why they have to park their car and wait for their food in the drive thru? Well first of all if you order a lot of food chances are its gonna take a while to assemble them taking the fact that there are ALSO other customers in the lobby who ordered a bunch of food during rush hours. So stop complaining and wait. On top of that if you order breakfast you're most likely gonna have to wait even longer cause the hash browns take around 3 mins to cook every time after breakfast hours and if you order egg mcmuffins or sausage egg they cook the egg fresh for you so THAT is why they park you. Don't complain when you know nothing about how the assembly line works. I'm pretty sure the managers want you out of their way ASAP.
