The food was wel prepared, & hot. Served quickly. Got a Big Mac meal and ranch chicken wrap and strawberry shake. And yes the milkshake machine is working here! The service was great- friendly , fast , someone asked if I needed help as I was standing in front of the kiosk and personally took my order & payment. Restaurant is clean , incl the bathrooms. You go to a place like McDonalds for consistency. You expect to get exactly what you ordered with the same features as you have received previously. Today we ordered very basic items. The egg McMuffin with bacon was all wrong. They sent a folded scrambled dry dry egg instead of the egg McMuffin egg. It was terrible. The apple pies were dry, flattened and most likely leftover from yesterday. The only item that was as expected was the hashbrowns. Disgusting! Couldn't eat it! read more

Here's a tip for your manager if she even cares- if somebody places a DoorDash order at 2:30 am and a is unavailable to pick up and deliver for another hour or more- you might wanna stop being lazy and remake the meal. In the past going through the drive thru or using the app, has NOT been a good experience. They have not given me everything that I've ordered multiple times. I'm actually struggling to use the English language to describe how catastrophically incompetent the management and staff are. And I mean the ACTUAL management, not the salaried workers who are called managers. I've been to this place about five times over this year since I often drive my way south. Each and every single time, they have had the gall and audacity to give me a standard sandwich rather than my special order. The special order by the way is plain, just cheese, meaning that all they needed to do to successfully make my meal was to not put things on it. But nope, without fail they will give me a standard sandwich because either the staff or far more likely the incompetent and entitled admins don't care, and rely on them being part of the franchise and on a good road for business. I've brought the sandwich back sometimes, and then they manage to fail again. Sometimes I get the vibe they intentionally do this, since I've been told to pull out to the lot and this still happens. Their sandwiches tend to be mediocre by Macker's standards, but the fact that they cannot get this simple thing right is absolutely hideous. The wait time itself is pretty bad too, since I could and have gotten faster service at some restaurants too. I honestly must state that there is never a point to come to this dumpsterfire of a location; go to the one in Smyrna or one of the other fast food joints in the area. We revived our Mcfood in less than 2 minutes with no problems. Everyone at this Mcdonald's should receive a nice promising raise. I have lived in Middletown, DE for over 19 years, and have frequented this McDonalds for nearly that entire time. Every restaurant had ebb and flow of team members/employees that make things work like a machine. I have seen periods where this is the case at this McDonalds, but they seem to have currently reached an all time low. When I go in the Managers' attitudes range from distain to out right lack of interest. There appears to be no training of the staff, and those behind the counter cannot count, even with a calculator. Sunday my wife and I stopped or a quick bite after a long day of yard work. We placed our order, and just as we were leaving a young man dropped a drink in front of the door - and was very upset about his accident. I mentioned to the Manager on Duty that he had a significant spill in front of the door. He leaned over the counter and nodded his acknowledgement. My wife and I skirted around the spill and left..... After finishing her meal, my wife decided on a small treat and returned ot place her order. Upon entering, the spill was still there, no warning sign, no appearance of effort to clean up the spill. It was an accident and law suit waiting to happen. I am not certain what has happened, but the staff has completely turned over and those managing and working there could honestly care less about the owner, the store or their job. This McDonalds is horrible. Very slow. Waited almost 30 minutes and theY left out part of my order. When I told them it was missing they got annoyed. I also told them my fries were cold as ice. Nothing worse then cold McDonalds fries. They asked for the fries back then dropped them and blamed it on me. They said they were waiting on fries and told me to pull over in one of the parking spots and slammed the window shut. After another 10 minutes of waiting I gave up and left without my fries. It was warm inside during the summer when I expected it to be cool. I asked the manager, are you sure this is the well done one? She said, yea. So I thanked her and took it to the car. As I was pulling away I tasted them and they were not well done. I went back in and it took me forever to get anyone to pay attention to me although I was clearly looking to speak with someone. A random person said, so you want a large fry well done. I said yes please, I originally asked for them to be well done. She turned around and just repeated that lady wants a large well done fry.
