Sunday morning. Take out? The best ever at McDonalds on Medina Road. I ordered the Big Breakfast without the sausage! They accommodated this Vegetarian. The Hotcakes were light and fluffy, coffee piping hot, eggs, hash brown and biscuit were perfect. The manager delivered my meal to my car with a huge smile. Her employees were extraordinarily happy too. I have always loved this location. This is my favorite meal at this McDonalds! Their management and staff are exceptional at what they do. The service here was top notch. We received a very warm welcome from the friendly staff upon entry. We had placed our order in advance via the app, and our food came out quickly, hot and as expected - Happy Meals, hamburger, 6 piece nuggets, and a Spicy Chicken Sandwich. A kind employee came around each table with guests in the dining room, checking to make sure everything was satisfactory. She even brought out some items people inquired about, plus stickers to share with all of the kids present, something we've never experienced at a McDonald's before. Worst franchise. I ordered a grinch meal, they did not tell me that they were out of the pickle salt, I had to pull forward and wait a full 15 minutes for the meal of soggy nuggets and cold, soggy fries. I noticed the absence of the pickle salt, went into the building and the employee then told me they didn't have it but "we're giving 2 pairs of socks instead" (I got one pair in my box). Their receipt printer "wasn't working" when I asked for my receipt so I couldn't even prove that's what I'd ordered. I'd hoped my only other experience at this franchise was a fluke (overloaded a shamrock shake with far too much mint and it tasted like toothpaste) Maybe they are just bad at the seasonal items. Save yourself the trouble and buy some pickle salt elsewhere because this depressing meal was $11 and a lot of time I'll never get back. read more

This is THE WORST McDonalds I have ever been to I. My LIFE. Spend 30 minutes for 2 double cheese burgers and 2 double cheeseburger with no pickle. Got our food finally and it was WRONG. They gave single cheeseburgers and were missing the second patty on each. Went back in and waited another 15 minutes just for it to be wrong again!!! They gave single cheeseburgers again and were not double! Finally after another 5 minutes of waiting was given another double cheeseburger. Food looks like it was ran over with a semi. This has to be the worst Mc D'S in the area. Who ever owns this restaurant is a very pathetic businessman. The cost of the food is at least 20to 30 percent higher than the other locations in Medina. Also the food is noticeably worse than the other 2 locations and the service is really bad wait time and order accuracy wise . To the travelers onI-71 do you self a favor and visit the other 2 Mcdonalds on North court (free coffee and tea refills) and RT 3 (free refills on all drinks) and 20 to 30 percent less on food. If you are on 71 and don't have time to vist Medina there is a great Mc Ds at 71 and 303 in Brunswick about 6 miles north of this one ,better service , cheaper prices and free refills on all beverages. read more

Saw ad for McRib and who doesn't love their fries. Places mobile order to save time. Lines were backed up, short of help. Got food, fries were only warm, asked for hot fries and they gave the same ones back, mgr said they just came out of frier, no way still Luke warm. McRib was not hot and more like a hamburger, didn't taste like the past. Very disappointed, they have dropped their standards like all the others. I should have gone in but instead took the cold inferior food home and threw out half. Probably won't visit again! What the heck if you can't get hot fries at this iconic place? I've dined at this McDonald's for breakfast a few times. To date, I've never eaten a hamburger or fries from here. And I intend to keep it that way. There are so many better options for eating great hamburgers. I still love McD's fries, but I don't eat them often. What I usually get are McGriddles. I love me some McGriddles. I know they're not healthy, but they are delicious. I usually get sausage and egg on my McGriddle. The combination of savory and sweet works well for me. Love them. I also love their potato cakes, but those too, are not very healthy. I like that this McDonald's has a dual drive through. Of the times I've waited in line for breakfast, the wait was less than five minutes. The staff is on the ball here in the mornings. read more

I rarely leave reviews on fast food restaurants because they have all been so bad the past 5 years, but I have to give a shout out to this McDonald's in Medina. I decided to eat at this one when my wife was in the hospital. I have now been back 4 times because the food is actually FRESH every time. Kudos to the workers and management. Screwed up a single, simple breakfast meal order. No hashbrown. I didn't even exit the parking lot and doubled back. The attendant at the drive up kiosk says "just a moment" then I was left hanging. After two cars in the other lane go by, I then make my way around to the 2nd window to flag someone down. The guy that messed up my order looks the other way but thankfully the manager sees me and asks what's the matter. After 15 minutes, I finally get the missing hashbrown. It's just not worth the headache. That said, the sausage egg mcmuffin was good and the hashbrown was hot...so better than most mcdonalds in the morning. read more

The staff here is excellent and this would be a five star rating if I was rating just them. Unfortunately for this McDonald's and mainly the workers, I doubt they pay enough to get more workers. This is the worst McDonald's I've ever been too in my entire life. The employees are rude. They close at 8pm every day and are right next to an exit o. A major freeway. After waiting in line for 20 min between the pay window and getting our food, we got the complete wrong order... we ordered burgers and ended up with 30 nuggets, and since all the doors to the building were locked we had to stop cars and walk up to the window. My 78 yr old grandfather, a veteran, meets with a group of veterans at various McDonalds in various cities from Brecksville to Medina to have breakfast. What they encountered at this location was unforgivable. They came in to order breakfast. They waited patiently. No one came to the counter to take their order. He asked if they could please take their order. They told him to use the kiosk. These are all elderly gentlemen. He told her that they do not use the kiosk, could they just order at the counter like they do at all the other locations. She said no. "If you can't use the kiosk, get in your car and go through the drive through". They left surprised that they were treated in such a rude fashion. The other locations don't even tell them to use the kiosk. They are told to order, go ahead and take a table and they bring their food to them. At Rockside and Rt. 21 in Brecksville, not only do they bring their food to them, but someone comes out with a pot of coffee and refills their cups at their table. This location is a disgrace to McDonalds, McDonalds shareholders and anyone who patronizes them. read more

This was by far the best McDonald's experience I've ever had in my life. I am writing a review for their breakfast. Two of us split the Big Breakfast with Pancakes and an orange juice. For $8, I had the time of my life. First of all, the food was served to us by this really friendly lady who laid out the tray very gently. We sat at a window seat where we could see the gentle rain pouring down on freshly mowed grass. -The scrambled eggs: I liked how it wasn't pre-salted, so I was able to control how much salt and pepper I wanted with my eggs. Very fluffy with uniform consistency. -The pancakes: something I learned is that you should separate the stack to air out the steam from each pancake to prevent sogginess. Try incorporating on top of the pancakes that grape jelly that you would think to use on your biscuit. The perfect roundness of each pancake satisfied both my eyes and my hungry stomach. -The biscuit: save that biscuit for dessert. Ask for honey, which they save next to the stove to make sure the honey is in its most free-flowing state. Pour that thing on top of the biscuit and share it with your loved one to end the breakfast on a high note. -The orange juice: who needs a mimosa bar with expensive bubblies when you can just mix orange juice with some sprite? You might have to clarify the pricing at the front though if you decide to go down this route. Overall, this was the best breakfast experience I've had in a while. Thank you Medina McDonald's. This really is as good as McDonald's get. I don't want to ruin my health nut reputation though so note that I wasn't here to eat -just getting my grandpa some coffee. The bathrooms were the cleanest I had ever seen a McD's bathroom and they were fairly new. The drive thru line moved efficiently. There was a person standing in the lane taking orders instead of having the customer speak into the box which was nice and I'm guessing probably eliminates a few errors. read more

Ok where to start. Well my family and I were on summer vacation from Florida we stopped here to feed the kids my wife took the girls in to go tontine bathroom and wash their hands. The were out of soap for the women's room. No big deal we have hand sanitizer well when we tell the girl at the counter she said yeah it's been out all day. Use the one next to it. REALLY! My wife informed here that was out too. She just shrugged the dinning area had ketchup all over the floor there was a random mop just laying out. Wet floor signs every where. I was going to complain, but I could find a single adult running the place and not really sure who was in charge. They could get my order right and It seems like they encourage the employees to hang out at work, due the kids all wearing McDonald's uniforms hanging out in the dinning area. read more

If you eat inside, beware of the chairs with the metal legs! Mine collapsed underneath me, ripping my skirt and causing me embarrassment and bruising. The management was very uncaring. Reluctantly agreed to pay for the skirt but never so much as offered a free cup of coffee. After 2 months, finally got payment for the skirt and a few extra dollars from their insurance company. I went to this McDonalds and showed them the offer on my app. For some reason, the app wouldn't open the offer for them to scan it. The store wouldn't accommodate me anyway like just about all other stores do (including other brands). I won't be going back to this store again. I guess they just didn't care to have my business.
