I was super surprised with this spot. After my last McDonald's gave me cold FF. I've been loosing faith in the brand. But on this day. I placed my order at the counter and went to the RR. When I returned my order was ready. Hot and fresh. The oil in the fryer was also fresh so the hashbrowns were golden brown and crispy. My sandwich was stacked properly and wrapped up. SLOWWWWWWWWWWWW! That's what this place is. We asked for the cheeseburger deal just to tide us over until we got back to our house after a long drive. We sat at the window AFTER paying for probably 10 minutes. That was a bit ridiculous. We went to eat tonight around 9:30 pm. The doors were open, but not one employee was present. We called out for someone multiple times, but no one came from the back to help us. This restaurant is dirty. No toilet paper in the bathrooms. I cannot imagine what the kitchen looks like if the bathrooms are gross. We finally left after 10 minutes of waiting for someone to come out of the back. Do not eat here or I should say do not "attempt" to eat here. Once again, after a 45 minute wait, I had to exit my car in Curbside #3 spot and walk inside the McDonald's building and stand at the counter for 7-8 minutes to inquire about my order. Finally, someone asked if I needed help. I explained about the 45 minute wait time and the absence of my food order. They pointed at a tray sitting on the counter and asked my name to confirm that it was mine. It was. The girl explained they were waiting on fries. I opened the bag and took out the ice cold fries inside it. I told them I do need new hot fries and emptied the fries inside the bag out on a tray. She said they didn't get the confirmation I had arrived. I took out my phone to show them the confirmation at 11:am and showed them the receipt which said CURBSIDE and was marked "11:00AM" and I pointed at the bright red car parked alone in curbside #3 and wondered why no one thought to check the car parked there for 45 minutes. The ice was melted in both drinks, the sandwiches were cold, and the nuggets were cold. They handed me new fries and were completely unapologetic. Several other customers saw all this occur and were 100 times more empathetic than any employee I had dealt with. Stopped at this McDonald's today and what should've taken 20 minutes took over an hour. They got my order wrong I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese,bacon,lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise, only.. I got it without any lettuce or tomato.. the worst part was the burger (I wouldn't call that a burger!!) it was cooked to death because it was so thin.. the second one came back exactly like the first one.. I told them 5 times (because they ask me 5 times) what I wanted on it, they brought me another one that was identical to the one that I had just returned! Seriously forks!! Worst McDonalds ever. I made a pickup order via the app and was notified when I arrived they had nothing I ordered and advised me to cancel through the app. They proceeded to process my order and then there was no option to cancel the order. I was told by the manager at this location I would need to contact customer care. I did, and customer care told me the location should have refunded me. I notified them that I was told otherwise by the manager and I HAVE NOT received any word or communication from McDonalds or this location. They stole $22 from me. On 3/27/25 at 6:15 am I went into McDonalds. After waiting 10 minutes to place order I asked a women who knew I was waiting if she could take my order. In a not so polite voice she said I would have to wait a few minutes. 10 minutes later I asked again she told me I had to wait a few minutes. By this time a lady came in and had been waiting for about 15 min. Not sure why at McDonalds the walk in patrons are ignored in favor of the Drive-Thru. Seems to be the same in most McDonalds. I was pulling a 20ft trailer and at this location you can't navigate the Drive-Tru with a trailer. Finally the woman came and again ( not polite , "what do you want") I showed her an app coupon and said " I want this and a large drink." She rang it up and I paid with my credit card not paying attention to the amount. She walked away and did not give me a cup. As she walked away I attempted to get her attention and she ignored me. (It took her about 30 seconds to take my order.) I then reached over the counter and retrieved a cup. Shortly a man whom I assume was the manager came out and insinuated that I had stolen the drink. He said the women told him I had walked around counter and took the cup. The lady behind me told him that was a lie that I just reached over the counter. I proceeded to tell him what had transpired. He Told me to give him my recite. I told him she did not give me one. It appears that she failed to ( I believe intentionally) add the drink on the tkt. The lady behind me again verified my story. I didn't pay any attention to the amount I just paid for it. I am 75 yrs old and as I tried to explain to the manager I do not steal and if I did wouldn't still a cup and stand in his presence while waiting to receive my order. As I walked out I trashed the food as I was concerned that it may have been violated. In their defense it did appear they were understaffed. The lady taking our order was incredibly rude and blunt with us- there was nothing "hospitable" about her.

Went through this location a week back I almost fell out of my car door at the surprise I had when the employee took my order. The reasoning behind such a thing was the fact someone behind the microphone said "Welcome to McDonald's!, hope you're having a great day. May I take your order please". Then she even followed up with a happy voice, and a slight giggle. At first I thought I was in the wrong town. My head started spinning. I was taken by surprise. The person behind the microphone didn't hate their job so much that they were rude and disrespectful. I paid for my order, and to my surprise the person in that window was extremely happy and friendly and I knew this is my last day on earth, as I asked the Creator of heaven & earth ..God, please don't take me from this planet today. The 2nd window to my amazement was just as happy & kind as the 1st. The worker handed me my food and smiled and said "I hope you're having a great day thank you for coming to McDonald's and gently handed me my food. I didn't have to duck as I threw it through the window like the last time I had been there ! I knew it was over! I grabbed my heart I looked at my son and exclaimed, "am I dreaming?! pinch me! is this really happening ? someone at the window in McDonald's and MARSHALL is being friendly! What is happening?! We were traveling through with a group of 30+ teens & it was good lunch stop. Place was big enough to seat us all. The only issue was we had to order through the kiosk and not at the register which took time. Food was fresh. read more

Been going to this McDonald's for 22 years. Throughout time, it has changed immensely. I don't know why some of the employees now are so angry. I had to count out some change unexpectedly and the girl at the window got irate about it. Called someone to the window to relieve her from assisting me. I could visibly see her complaining abt it, they just looked at me as if I wasn't there. When I said sorry about that, thank you she nodded and would not speak and shut the window If you hate your job, or certain people in general, you have the wrong job. Customer service can be grueling, I get that. I have worked in the CS industry for well over 30 years. There is no excuse to treat anyone like that. Just because someone has to count change, or you don't like something about them. It has gotten so bad at fast food places in Marshall that my family rarely eats out or orders out anymore. I have sit on this for months and it's bugging me so I'm addressing it here. Managers! You are loosing customers (not that MCD will go broke from loosing my money) but I'm certain that I'm not alone in this. I haven't been to location in many years due to some horrific past service. But they recently remodeled so I decided to give them a shot. Food was fast and correct. I dined in and the first thing I saw was a manager drinking behind the counter and scolded a staffer who told them they didn't think that was allowed. *Food Handler laws do actually prohibit this behavior. Lots of, not LOUD but loud enough, chatter from behind the counter during my whole meal. I know WAY too much personal info about these people after one meal. They weren't necessarily unpleasant or mean, but there were a lot of words tossed around I wouldn't want my children to be around. Will probably skip returning this location again for a while. Which is a shame; the remodel is nice,though the TV was either broken or just off during my visit. read more

Updated location. Did the Kiosk ordering At 10:26 AM on a Sunday morning. At 10:51 AM and I went up to the counter to ask what the holdup was. There were several other families standing around looking frustrated and lots of the numbers on the screen above the pick up window would turn on and turn off or just disappear before being served all together. This restaurant was full of employees but yet the trash cans were overflowing. The ketchup dispenser was empty and spitting ketchup when you tried to get ketchup. At least 6-7 tables were dirty and spilt ketchup was on the floor just waiting to be slipped in. This has to be by far the dirtiest McDonalds I've ever been in. This McD's is terrible. I stopped here for a quick lunch as I was driving back to Dallas from Shreveport. The cashier definitely did not want to be there. She barely listened to my order as I had to repeat it several times. As I was getting ready to pay, my hand was stretched to her with a $20 bill, Her head was cocked the other way as she was busy scratching her head and picking her ear. GROSS! She asked me twice if it was for here or to-go...it was for here. She still stuck my order in a to-go bag. The place needs some serious cleaning. The trashcans were overflowing. The drinks area looked like a mess. And the seats and tables had crumbs all over them. I'd hate to see what the kitchen looked like. *SHIVER* read more

This is a nice McDonald's and the food was fine. The parking lot was weird and located in the back. I found it challenging to get into and out of this business. Pull in 5:55am for drive thru, only person to be found is the employee standing out front talking to whoever was there visiting her. Gave them the benefit and thought they may open at 6, so I wait. At 6:03 I drove up to the window to knock and search for life and I'm greeted by a BOH employee who can't even open the window and walks away without finding anyone to help. I wait more, drive up to the pickup window to knock there and still see no one. This place is garbage and the employees are incompetent more times than not. They should just close this store.
