Very few workers here that are friendly and speak English. They still don't know how to scramble eggs. My complaints to Corporate fall on deaf ears. The only other good thing here is that the coffee is always fresh and not bitter like other Mickey D's. (BTW Corporate office: I'm still waiting on the courtesy cards you were going to mail to me. This one is modern, high tech ordering, immaculate, bright, huge parking lot. I'm having a great cup of coffee and a fresh cranberry muffin. Outstanding. The contents of the pink slime they use for their meats are pig snouts, soy and ammonia (bleach). and I'm not even talking using trace amounts of bleach to just sterilize it or clean it I'm talking they pour bleach into the mix after grinding it to give it that gummy texture that's why you sometimes feel sick eating there. The drive thru is new and nice. Your order comes on screen so you know they heard exactly what you ordered. The food comes out with a label on it so you know they did exactly as the order asks. Then you open the bag and the food is whatever they wanted to put in it. Doesnt matter that you verified on the screen or the label. You are getting whatever is convenient for them. Ordered plain double cheeseburger. Sticker says plain but comes out covered in onions mustard and pickles. All of which I hate. I figured that 930 in the morning I would be able to get some decent hash browns. But NOOOOOO!!!! I ordered 2 hash browns from the drive thru before heading to the bank. So I was eating the first one which was not that great (fried twice) but still edible while driving to the bank. Then, I TRIED to take a bite into the 2nd one after I finished with the first. It seemed like it's been fried like 3x min. It was literally crunchy all the way thru. The whole time I was in the bank, I was deciding if I should drive back to McD's to complain. I am only writing this in hopes that some crew member or manager of this location will read that.... they need to all learn to make coffee as ordered. I get my morning coffee here daily because McDonald's just has the best wake me up coffee. But, often it's made wrong and I drink it anyways. Clean facility and nice staff. Also, on one occasion I ordered a Big Mac extra sauce and received a Big Mac NO SAUCE. Apparently there are communication issues at this McDonald's. read more

McDonald's is just human fuel to keep going in your day. You're the car and they're the gas station. I know that. But I have to say in the past two months, this location has had some of the nicest people working there I've ever encountered in all my years of going to the Golden Arches. When I go inside, everyone is polite and pleasant so at least when I take my family here I don't feel like we're being tortured. It isn't a place for fine dining or really even dining. it's grab and go. i went through the drive thru at 6:02 am yesterday. after ordering a large diet coke and hasbrowns, i left the drive thru at 6:10. i was the only car in line. 8 minutes, 2 items, one is food, no waiting. of course 8 minutes is reasonable (dripping with saracasm). i thought they must be making them . . .nope. stone cold cooked hasbrowns. and coke. not diet coke. this place has a consistent problem differentiating between coke and diet coke - even if the receipt/screen is correct. this has to be the worse McD in the HUB. read more

The first bad experience involved an oddly crunchy texture in a breakfast sandwich that I immediately spit out and threw in the trash, without daring to investigate what that was. It was likely extremely overcooked egg...or some overcooked plastic plastic by the taste? It took a while and a moment of desperation born weakness to return, thinking lightening generally only strikes once a decade with fast food franchise bad experiences. They are usually very tightly and efficiently run as a condition of their franchise and to make money with accuracy and consistency...right? The owner must be too busy with bank deposits and payroll to sort through health code awareness. The second bad experience at this location involved dead insects...I don't think I have to go into great detail, I trust anyone reading this has sufficient imagination with just those two words. The staff during both of these drive-throughs was...fine, slight difficulty with the English, but nothing unusual. They sure got the job done, asking me to pull forward on the first order so they could have time to prep and let others by, sure panned out well for them I hope based on what I got. Glad they took the extra time and care to insure I got a disgusting meal that I through out. The food can only be described as pot luck repugnant ill handled Mcdonald's due to poor management and oversight and likely cost cutting internally to max profits. Successfully cured me of fast food for now, suppose I owe them for the improvement in my diet enough to not a call to local health code organizations. I'm sure you will be fine! I was just unlucky...twice...they were having an off day, twice, and just when I was there, twice. It's a shame the second experience inadvertently caused me to vomit and be temporarily traumatized by the experience, with only minor lingering issues as I try to forget the experience every time I see the golden arches now. It always amazes me how many people walk into a McDonalds and order a dollar hamburger with a billion customizations and then get angry and complain when they get something wrong. It's McDonalds.... Have reasonable expectations and you won't be disappointed. Especially with this one. It's one of the better. It's really nice having something that's open 24 hours in Marlborough besides Pricechopper. I'm usually here for breakfast 2-3 times a week before most everything else opens and I enjoy the atmosphere and the staff. The free WiFi works well most of the time and you can get a pretty decent breakfast for 2 bucks. What more could you ask for? I guess the one thing I could complain about is they still have one of the older soda machines that has about 8 choices instead of the newer digital ones with like 100. But that barely detracts from the rest of it's greatness. Just to add too, often during a lot of the overnight shift until 6am they only have one person at the counter and one at the grill. So in all likelihood you're gonna have to wait longer than you would during the day. Especially if there's more than one customer around. But seriously, just be happy they're open at all. Something has seriously changed here. I used to drop by the drive though once in a while over the summer. My food came out hot fresh and the people at the window were SOOOO friendly. I've gone here recently - the place is filthy - sticky floors and flies buzzing around - no one speaks fluent English so they can't get your order right unless you says it slowly 4 or 5 times. They NEVER have any food ready so you go in order a simple burger and you are standing their 15 minutes and there is no one else in line. And the people who work there must have something against condiments because my sandwich never NEVER has enough ketchup or mustard or tartar sauce. Also the food is stale and cold and it never used to be. I don't know how a place could have gone so far down hill in such a short time. I believe the managers are not the same people who were there during the summer and neither is most of the staff, They should all be fired - really - the place has become a dump! read more

I put the review more in the middle because MOSTLY there is great service and a good place to have a meal!! There are some really great workers here...BUT the problem is at some times the service is less than good. THOSE times are to be avoided!!! The early mornings seem to be that way. Last weel early at 5AMish I got a big breakfast and had to guide the worker as to what WAS included in it.....butter, jelly etc. Was this the first day he was working?? It was like he had NEVER done that before...Poor training or poor attitude?? NOT sure...Today this same clown was busy as I waited at the counter. NO cars in drive through, just coffee stocking other things. He told me one minute, but I had already been there a few. I waited a few more and just left. A manager??
