What a fiasco!!!! Their cashier had no idea what the menus items were and every time I tried to show her the "Add-on" I wanted she would change my original order to be that item. So my girlfriend went into this mcdonalds applying for a job, she scored an interview and finally goes in for said interview. She was supposed to meet with THE MANAGER who went on lunch as soon as she got there or a few mins prior, and some heavier set, brunette lady, comes up to start the interview, doesn't introduce herself, and says "whats your availability?" My girlfriend had asked for only ONE specific day off, Sundays. The lady cuts her off and says "this interview is over, we need people from opening to close, 7 days a week." mind you by LAW they have to give people two days off every 7 days worked consistently, unless they're unionized. Went to this establishment with my family unfortunately we were in a truck and a 22 foot trailer that we just bought and my hypoglycemic daughter was hungry so my husband walked through the line to try to order while we were parked outside (in our VEHICLE that we could NOT pull through the drive through in) and was told they can't take orders in the drive through as a walk up which we understood then. The "manager" told him to go through to the front door and he could take his order there but then decided to not show up-mind I remind you we were IN a vehicle but couldn't make it through without destroying their equipment. A super awesome customer had to buy food for our girl, which we could have easily bought ourself if given compassion and understanding that we were looking out for the equipment that the establishment provides given we were in a super long rig. 10/10 do not recommend. The "manager" was super un-understanding and unprofessional, rude and mocked my husband. My husband was profiled and assumed to be homeless and blatantly ignored. I'm disappointed in this service being a customer service representative myself- the manager brought shame to this company. The nice lady that took my confusing order in the drive thru was so nice as was the person that gave us our food after I forgot to stop and pay in the first window. I work in Madras, and go in very early. It always seems like this place is never prepared to open. Last week I ordered a frappuccino, and was told the machine is down. Today after I waited in line for close to ten minutes, when I finally get up to order I'm told, very rudely, they can only accept cash. So being as I only had my debit card I had to wait another ten minutes for nothing until I could go through the line and continue on to work. Always double check your total here before paying, especially if you're using a coupon. They didn't apply the coupon I had, even after I asked to make sure they were usable with my order. They charged me the price without the coupon. I was distracted and paid, but when I sat down I got to thinking the price seemed high for what I ordered. The food is McDonald's good. Which isn't much but for a McDonald's it's a smidgen above other locations. My fries are usually fresh and lightly salted, which I prefer. But the sandwiches could use some work. On average my sandwich is usually cold or poorly made, like one time the cheese and pickles weren't even inside the sandwich but just laying in the box on the side. One thing I will say about this location, is that the service has improved slightly from last year. I actually get what I ordered now, instead of getting a bag filled with mystery items. The staff is hit and miss. Some are sorta friendly while others are just outright rude. The guy they promoted to morning manager has been known to argue with customers or at least accuse them of "lying".
