I've been trying to get my spouse to come here for 5 years - today he finally agreed. We only ordered milkshakes and fries and they've won him over! We grabbed a take out menu on our way out and I am confident that we will be back. Couple next booth over got some Carolina dogs and they looked delicious! We had a Black Cherry shake and a chocolate shake. The chocolate shake was delicious and super chocolate-y and we took turns scooping between the cherry and chocolate. Their menu has some additional flavors that we will try another time - Dreamsicle and fresh banana and several candy bar shakes! Fries were crinkle cut and perfectly cooked to crispy - yum! The wait staff was friendly and helpful. I saw them all with their hair pulled up or back and wearing gloves while working the food service, even saw them change to fresh gloves after performing tasks like taking out the trash and cleaning off the grill. That makes a strong impression! Looking forward to trying their burgers and dogs on our next visit!

They offer two different hotdogs on their menu. is one is an all beef dog and the other is a traditional red dog. Either can be dressed anyway you want them. All the way is chili, mustard, onions, and slaw. First, for extra points, the buns were perfectly toasted. Second, the onions were fresh! Too many restaurants are cutting corners by purchasing chopped onions from the food service guys. DON'T DO IT! I can spot 'em a mile away. Just don't do it! These onions were chopped this morning. The slaw is made fresh each morning. It is crisp, and sweet with just the right amount of mayo. The chili was very good. Also made on site everyday. I tried one of each, and while both were good, I enjoyed the red better. Just had more flavor. Also $1 cheaper! Both a tad pricey, but two of us got out for about $16+tip. They do take plastic, but there is a 3% charge. All in all, this is a very good hotdog in a region full of good dogs. These are about 50 minutes from Winston-Salem.

So I ordered a homemade cheeseburger add bacon all the way is mustard chili slaw I went with lettuce tomato mayo. Tater tots. And a hot dog all the way. With the Arnold Palmer to drink. I don't know if it's an off day for them. The burger is handmade fresh ground beef. However, I watch them cook my burger at no point did they add any seasoning? A lot of the flavor they came from the burger was the bacon added to it. The tater tots were nice and crispy however, no seasoning no salt was added. The hotdog had great flavor. Looks like a family room business. A lot of locals come here once again. I don't know if it was an off day but had everything been seasoned five stars for sure. Couple of things they are cash only no cards and no combo orders makes for an expensive meal

But, the longer I waited, I could watch & see there was more to the extended delay: There were actually 3 more workers (well, "worker" cannot describe the manager on duty). One employee only made Whoppers. No Whopper= no work out of her- ignoring the fact that another employee was running the cash register and deep fried food and the in-store dining trays. It bears repeating: manager did nothing. Walked out of the office, looked around & never touched any step of the ordering process.
