One of our favorite places. You can tell it's a true locals spot. Don't let the fact it has the bar vibe, it truly is family friendly. We had five between two families. The food is absolutely delicious and still at food family friendly prices! Imagine that! Their burger was juicy and absolutely delicious. They truly have some of the best fried pickles. This local gem was fabulous! We sat at a booth and had a wonderful server who greeted us with a smile. The menu had so many great options with a plethora of appetizers, chicken baskets, burgers baskets, and many other sandwich options. I got a cheese quesadilla but subbed their pimento cheese with a side of home chips and ranch. Sooooooo good!!!!! My brother got chicken tenders tossed in hot sauce and loved them! This place super affordable too. I only paid $14 for my food and a Blue Moon. What a steal! read more

We went last night and sat on the beautiful deck and had a lovely and interesting conversation with, who turned out to be, the owner. She is gracious and interesting and really became the highlight of our stopover in Madison. We immensely enjoyed the burger, zucchini fries, hush puppies, grilled shrimp salad and even fried Oreos. Coming from the north, this interaction and hospitality is what makes the south so warm and inviting. Thank you. read more

Very good food - good prices. Hot chips were very crispy and I love me some crispy chips! I enjoyed their wings, too. A little heat balanced with the sweet and tangy barbecue sauce - weren't drowned in the sauce, either - just right! Hubs had a black and blue burger. Very good! I loved this place so much! Came with a friend for her birthday and we both enjoyed every second. You come in and seat yourself and someone will come over to talk to you. We both ordered the mtn dew special for the drink, which was amazing. Super sweet, just the way I like it! I got the hot dogs with loaded waffle fries as my meal. The hot dogs were delicious! If there were such a thing as an American pub, this would be it (but the food is better than pub food). It's a small place but very clean and very friendly. Lots of booths and outdoor seating for when the weather is nice. They have some very enticing specialty drinks on the menu. We asked the waitress about the Snickers drink and she wasn't sure but she thought that it had cream and hazelnut liqueur, maybe kahlua - it sounded heavenly. Intended to get it as a dessert but we were entirely filled by our blue cheese burger and chicken, bacon, ranch wrap with fries. If you order the sweet potato waffle fries (so good!) it comes with marshmallow dipping sauce - brilliant but sticky. This place is amazing. read more
