Philly cheesesteak special
Brittany E.

Had the special, a Philly cheesesteak and fries. Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. My friend had one of their award winning hotdogs and hot chips and said it was great. We were out the door for $16 for both of us and both had fountain drinks. It's definitely not aesthetically something to rave about but the food was delicious. If I'd been paying attention I'd have asked for American instead of Swiss on my sandwich but I love all cheese so it was still delicious.

Always great food. Family business which is always a priority to support. I'd recommend the philly and the fried pickles!

I love to stumble on a little coffee shop. The Parlor was…read morea great stumble. Very cute and cozy inside. Great selection!!

I hate leaving negative reviews but this experience wasn't a particularly good one. I've been…read moretrying to try more coffee shops in Rockingham County and The Parlor was next up on my list. When I walked in mid morning on Saturday, you could hear a pin drop. There's no background music or noise, just silence. I made my way to the counter (the girl working the register was super nice) and asked for a recommendation on their specialty menu where they said they hadn't tried the drink I wanted to order. I ordered it anyways and while waiting for them to make it, I could hear the two girls working talking about how they were unsure on how to make my drink (remember it was completely silent so anything they were saying I could hear). When they brought me my coffee it looked like milk. I took it to go and once in my car, I took a sip and yep, sugar milk. I'm not even positive they put an ounce of coffee in there at all. Needless to say they, in fact, did not know how to make my drink. I took a couple of sips, gave up, and threw it away. With The Mad Bean, who has outstanding coffee, being directly across the street from The Parlor, I doubt I'll be returning anytime soon. Hopefully the staff can get some training on how to make their coffee drinks.
