We've been thru drive thru 2 times in past month to get ice cream cones. Last week, we just left. Tonight we wanted cones,didn't have any so put ice cream in a cup and then had no spoons. Gave us a fork to eat ice cream. Really, unbelievable! read more

Oh goodness. On the surface, I thought there were only 3 people working....so patience is a virtue & I'm happy to wait. But, the longer I waited, I could watch & see there was more to the extended delay: There were actually 3 more workers (well, "worker" cannot describe the manager on duty). One employee only made Whoppers. No Whopper= no work out of her- ignoring the fact that another employee was running the cash register and deep fried food and the in-store dining trays. It bears repeating: manager did nothing. Walked out of the office, looked around & never touched any step of the ordering process. I'm just driving through...not much of a chance I'll be in this area too soon, but I'll never forget standing for so long. read more

I've completely stopped going to this Burger King after so many bad experiences. The last visit was a drive through order with 3 young kids in the car, so I was not getting out to go in to order. But after receiving my food, I found not one but two pieces of hair in my burger. I pulled into a parking spot to call and let them know, however they refused to remake my food until "my next visit". My friends and I stopped at Burger King on the way home and immediately we noticed no one was allowed in the restaurant. When we got to the drive thru speaker we had to wait around 10 minutes before somebody took our order and the first person named Jerri was extremely helpful, nice, and easy to talk to. The second window we had to wait another 10 or so for our food to even be brought to us and they forgot to give us our three pieces of pie. We went back through the line where Jerri was once again extremely helpful but the person giving us our pie was extremely dismissive and practically tossed the bag at us and rolled her eyes when our driver thanked her. Seemed they're too understaffed and will probably only come back for my guy Jerri. read more

Mobile order (paid for when order placed) was missing 1 sandwich. Total order was 2 identical sandwiches, 1 other sandwich, 1 large fry...they can take my money via an app to pay for my order but can't refund my card for the missing sandwich unless I drive back up there with my receipt...with the price of gas being what it is I didn't bother but also will no longer spend money there. It's been over five years since I've been to a Burger King. I eat all kinds of food but prefer local food and craft restaurants. When I walked in I was greeted in a very friendly fashion. I inquired about the new impossible burger because I didn't expect a vegetarian option be at a Burger King located out in the country. Man was I surprised. I must say this burger was incredible not just impossible! It tasted great and went down smooth! Same flame-broiled flavor as a meat whopper but none of the guilt. I felt energized and reaady to returrm to work instead of bloated and sleepy after a beef patty. It was on the 2 for 6$ menu. Definitely worth it. I would highlly recommend! I'll be backk! read more

folks don't go here the dine in room is never open and the drive thru is extremely slow!! They had posted a sign that they were going to close a 6pm on dec 24 2022. I said ok i am in line a 4:45 pm so i have plenty of time. Well the drive thur was so slow and they were only four cars ahead of me but there was still time. W ell I got to the order window and she said that they would not take any orders cause the were closing and I said that your sign said that you were not closing till six and it was only 5:10pm and I said do you know how long I have been in line and she said there was nothing she could do and would not take my order!! This is the last time for me to go to this establishment. I don't know who runs this place but it is a disgrace and they shpuld just close up and let someone else take over and run the business the right way!! read more

I feel sorry for the owner of the Burger King (#16242) in Mayodan, NC. It's a shame when you have an employee do their best to try and run off business. We ordered 2 Tender Crisp Chicken Sandwiches and the older man that was taking the order told us it would take 6 1/2 minutes to fix and we said "okay". Then the man with some disgust in his voice said, "I said it's going to take 6 1/2 minutes". We said we heard him the first time and yes we still want them. Then he just crossed his arms and turned and said something to another person. I will say that the employee who brought the food to us was very nice. i am disappointed. the oreo shake taste like a liquid birthday cake! very sugary. the ch'king sandwich has a weird taste, and the onion rings are salty. i have lived in mayodan for 26 years and have never had burger king before! and i am very disappointed. i should've went to mcdonald's where i could've got a better chicken sandwich. this is a wasted trip. i wasted gas money i WORKED for on this trip. i do not like wasting trips. now i have to go to dollar tree to buy FOOD BECAUSE MY NASTY MEAL WAS SO EXPENSIVE. thanks guys! i won't ever forget this experience. this has ruined my day and made me extremely emotional. read more
