I ordered their beef fajita plate & ended up giving it to the raccoons. The meat is undoubtedly of "POOR" quality. The meat felt like I was chewing gum. The reason being; there is too much "gristle" in the meat thereby making it hard to chew & breakdown the fibers! This was expen$ive $$$ What a waste of money!! DEFINITELY NOT going back ever again!! I've been here twice in the past couple months both times chicken chimichanga. I ordered top shelf margarita it isn't on the menu. It is smoother than the house margarita but I'm not sure what or how much of anything is in it. It's a pretty comfortable place and lots of room for big groups. Another Madison restaurant bites the dust. Poor service, food sucks. Workers standing around not doing anything, the food at taco bell is probably better. Must have got new management because it used to be good and not worth going. Tried 3 separate times in last 6 months and worse every time. read more

Pretty standard Tex-Mex fare, but decently done. Quite a large location, lots of seating and parking. Service was very good.

El Puente is our family's favorite Mexican restaurant, we are first and second generation Latino's, grandparents originally from Guanajuato. The Authenticity of the food is great for lots of things on the menu my favorite being the carnitas or carnitas street tacos. I've always found the rice here to also be my favorite and I love the quesadillas! Other great things on the menu is the cheese dip, horchata and Xango (pronounced chango). We love the wait staff and the owner, they are always so friendly and quick with service even on busy nights. Special recognition to Sandra our favorite waitress. read more

Tonight I enjoyed a nice dinner at a local favorite! I had the fajita taco salad. I ordered it Texas style so that it had the shrimp, steak and chicken in it. I am not a big bread eater so I did it without the shell and it came out perfect. The guacamole was super fresh as well as the tomato which was very important to me. This is one dish I would absolutely get again. The service was awesome our waitress was very on top of things and kept our glasses full. I am very impressed with the level of service! read more

Well, nice restaurant inside. The food: The dish I had was extremely salty. The rice didn't have enough seasoning. The tea was sub-par and I exchanged it for a soda which was good. The salsa was extremely spicy hot. Prices were about the same as everywhere else with better food. Service: The waiter we had was good. However, the guy that brings out the salas and chips was also the guy that cleaned tables and I never seen him wash his hands of course I probably wouldn't, right? I did see him go from clearing a table to serving salas and chips very, very quickly. Quick enough that he didn't have time to wash his hands in- between. read more

This was a little tucked away Mexican place that made my belly so happy . The food was so authentic and everything was served in very hefty portions! They give you free salsa and chips on the house, which is always a plus. The salsa even came in a pitcher! I could have drank it. My fiancé and I started out with some nachos and a quesadilla, and then split a burrito together. Ugh. Delicious! Our server was super helpful and was such a pleasure to have. He had a very friendly demeanor and assisted us in making diverse menu choices! I also enjoyed a strawberry margarita with my meal which was super sweet and just right. The ambiance was fun and relaxed with lots of Mexican jamz playing on the speakers. Quite honestly, it had me bouncing in my seat and made me want to dance ! I would definitely return here, we actually have already planned to! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it is a bit dated and could have some updates in the dinky bathrooms! read more

I have been here many times and I am satisfied in many ways every time. First of all the food has always been good and I get different things every time. Diabla quesadilla, acp, burritos etc and they are always filling and delicious. Second the saff is always super nice and are following proper covid safety regulations. 3 and a half stars - I might be a fan. We've only gone once but I love the location, the size of the building, the cheerful decor, and the quality of the meat that they use. I love chicken enchiladas. I miss the sour cream sauce you get in Texas but I still love chicken enchiladas. My plate came with a beef and a chicken enchilada. There were big pieces of good quality chicken in there. My husband had fajitas, dinner portion. That was excellent too. We ended up bringing his leftover fajita meat home and it made many good snacks. read more

If we want Mexican food this is where we go. Always well cooked, super clean restaurant and friendly staff. Salsa is really good, although the chips can sometimes be stale. ACC and ACP is a favorite as is Pollo Ranchero. Actually can't go wrong with anything on their menu. read more
