What to say about this location? I've been here about 7 times since moving to Madera about a year ago. I find the staff here to always be friendly and the drive thru to be quite efficient. A couple of times I didn't know what to choose. They offered suggestions and was happy with them. Fast food being what it usually is, I expected sloppily thrown together food. Not so. They are absolute garbage customer service. They forgot half of my order and when I called to complain they "" put my name and a book to make it right when I came back for lunch then I come back at lunchtime so they can give me a refund or make it right somehow and the route manager still won't make it right because when I called and gave them my name they didn't write it down correctly or I don't know what the hell do not go to that McDonald's they are dumb they are careless and they are rude read more

If your tummy needs a fill-up and you're about to cruise into into this drive-thru, DON'T!!! You could probably order pizza and have it delivered to your car before you got your Big Mac! The service at the Howard Road McDonald's has redefined "incompetent" setting new standards for "slow". I pulled into the order lane at 9PM (reset my watch to my phone) and another customer was behind. I hoped for some temporary glitch when my order for 2 CONES was taken at 9:09 PM! Long story short, I got the cones at 9:23 PM!! That's right folks; 23 MINUTES at the DRIVE-THRU for 2 very soft but well-made cones. BTW, only one order board was lit/functioning and waiting the 2 minutes at the last window I saw a one female/black-hatted employee arms folded leaning against the counter while another server had to walk around her! I won't say which one, but a young employee apologetically admitted again they were running "short staffed". AMAZING way to schedule on a warm summer Friday evening. Simply the worst. Can't even get coffee in the early morning. Twice in one week asked to pull around for a order of coffee only. Then to be forgotten about and have to go in after almost 20 min. Mistakes are a regular thing here. It's apparent they need new management. Have traveled from East Coast to West Coast and this by far is one of the worst. read more

My family and I love breakfast from McDonald's. Today i had a bad experience. I Went through the drive thru and placed my order. I was asked to park on the side and they would be taking my order. My daughter and I waited and waited and the delay was 45min. I was told that my order was on its way every time they approached us. I finally had to go to the drive thru all over again to get their attention and vent my frustration and concern. After this experience I've never been so disappointed with the lack of professionalism and organization at a McDonald's. Going forward I will be driving extra miles to another location. read more

McDonalds - Fast Food Near Me - Madera, California

The food is McDonalds. I've always loved their food, and that's the case here as well. The problem at this location is the service and some of their processes. Twice they have asked me to pull up and park in one of their stalls while going through the drive thru. Twice they have forgotten about my order and I had to walk inside 15 minutes later and see the employee get wide-eyed when they see the time on my receipt and that it still hadn't come out. If they ask you to move up and park I would politely refuse, or just go inside immediately after otherwise it seems out of sight, out of mind. read more

Just left this McDonald's at about 645 pm, I ordered 2 holiday pies which one had the 'enjoy by tag' that was for 2:34 pm. I also ordered a Powerade that was clearly out and tasted watered down. Last the large fries I ordered were old and cold. Very disappointed read more

I want in to place an order and long story short I was completely disappointed. Only got 3 out of 4 sandwiches I ordered and I was told I could get back in line and order again if I wanted to. When I got home I found that 1 of the 3 I did get wasn't even what I ordered. read more

I've been to their McDonalds plenty of times, and every time they forget something. Yesterday I went through drive through and they forgot my 20 piece chicken nuggets. Staff needs to be a little more aware of what there doing. Management is also very poor and seem not to care about customer service. I will no be coming here no more. Just had the worst experience last night. Waited maybe 20 min in the drive thru. When I got to the second window the girl asked me what my order was. Worst service ever! I was waiting at the drive thru for more than 10 min then they told me to park my truck and they would bring out my order in a couple minutes. A couple minutes turned into another 5 minutes. The worst part of it all was that I only ordered 4 lemonades!!!! I went inside and ask for my refund after waiting a total of 15 min. Confused as to why you guys have a big fat sign that says "COME ON IN" when your dining room is closed. I know it's a busy location there is always always a line but that's no excuse to be rude when taking my order. i Know no one looks at McDonald's reviews before they go there but if someone did I'd refer you to another mcdonalds cause I've never had a good experience at this one and I've lived here for 3 years , been here a few times before. This was actually one of the better McDonalds I have been to. I went there in the morning for some breakfast. Although they are an extremely busy restaurant, they are very efficient in handling their order fulfillment. As well, if they call your number and you don't respond, they will bring your food out to where you are sitting. I go to mc Donald's on a daily basis and yes some of the new younger girls slack..weren't raised to work I guess but this new one who started to work last year, Brianna I think her name was always has a smile no matter how chaotic it is, she's always in a good mood and runs her tinny ass around trying to fix all of the problems everyone else is creating, I've seen her deal with very rude customers like a lot of you guys and I think she should get a raise. Went to get a tea today there my favorite there. I was so disappointed last night the wife went to get me one but instead they gave her two coke sodas instead not a big problem. Today we went my wife told the girl when paying for the drink that last night they gave her two sodas but she wanted one of them to be tea the manager came and said go to the other window that she will help her there. Going to the next window the girl was taking a while for her to give us the drink then when she did she had a rude attitude with us she said have a nice day in a rude way then closed the window when my wife was talking to get the other tea. The manager was nice about it but the worker was not. Why give a customer attitude and be rude when they were nice and was not rude at all just trying to fix a mistake the wokers made the night before them. To the owner/ managers of McDonald's on Howard Road. I was quite disgusted after my visit there tonight. Upon arriving the floor was visibly dirty and sticky under my feet. When I went to fill my cup, I found myself unable to get ice from the soda machine as it was empty, looked down to a counter covered in trash, ketchup and soda. I tried to look past it. I was handed my order and turned to walk out only to see more trash, ketchup and soda on the floor. Oh I can't forget to mention the cockroach I saw running around also.
