Without a second thought I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala burrito and feel as if I got a two-fer: a terrific burrito AND an amazing new flavor combo. The quesadilla is almost always made the same way. It comes out hot, the cheese is fully melted, and the creamy jalapeño sauce is spread pretty evenly so every bite has flavor. The tortilla is usually crisp on the outside but not overcooked. The Crunchy Taco is what I use to judge how the shift is doing. Most of the time the shell is fresh and has a solid crunch. It is filled properly and does not feel rushed together. When it is slightly off, it is usually just a little uneven, not actually bad. Service is usually quick even when the drive-thru is busy. I have had occasional small mistakes over the years but they are rare and usually just end up being small problems like missing napkins or straws. After going there this often, you start to recognize faces and some of them recognize you too, which is kind of funny for a Taco Bell. The food is always well-prepared and balanced, the 'of the Week' selections are unique and, frankly, half of the reason that we keep coming back. The local beer scene is well-represented (taps and bottles) and rotates to keep bringing new brews to try. Taco Tuesdays are a great deal and a lot of fun with the other regulars.
