Seven Embers Coffee has great coffee drinks, Erie's food as well, and is a great family owned local business.

Stopped for a coffee and loved what I got. Grabbed some freshly roasted beans as well. Can't wait to stop again.

The service was great and the ambiance is very homey. Worth it, nice gem in the forrest. Coffee was great I got the blue lotus and their baked goods and breakfast sandwich were solid. Their Greek toast was also good. Give this place a try!

Within Buddhism there is an emphasis on compassion which entails empathetic concern and a desire to alleviate the suffering of others, acknowledging the interconnectedness of all sentient beings. Yet the menu is full of the secretions and flesh of many sentient beings who suffered a murderous death. I expected better from a place that invokes Buddha in their name. There are a couple vegan sandwich options and you can get plant-based milk for an upcharge. This is nice when compared to other dining options around here, but I do wish it lived up to its name. Last time I was there, on the in-person menu it states smoothies automatically come with honey. This isn't noted on the online menu for every smoothie. Ordering online you're unable to make the smoothies vegan because there's no option to say no honey. Also, the sandwich called The Cali does not currently have its ingredients listed when you order online, but I think it is vegan too.

The inside is very modern and spacious, a great spot to wait for your breakfast reservation to open up, and the staff is super nice as well. They serve Monin syrups (important ifkyk) which is a plus, and have a variety of dairy free milks to choose from as well. They also offer a few tea options including chai and matcha. We ordered the following: Oatmilk Cappuccino Oatmilk London Fog w/ Oat Milk Iced Oatmilk Latte w/ Toffee Nut, Wisconsin Maple & caramel drizzle. I think I just don't love Collectivo espresso beans as everyone who got coffee in my party said the drinks were just ok. The flavorings are perfect, we prefer Monin, but the espresso is just a little too bitter tasting? Maybe the shots weren't pulled correctly. I'd come back to try the sandwiches or for the London Fog, but I'll stick to Eagle River Roasters down the street for coffee.
