Four of us stopped in at 1:40 PM and the employees went above and trying to please us. They close at 2 but never let us know. Such kind workers. Scone and coffees were fantastic! The gift shop has so many unique items, in addition to coffees and teas. Do not miss a chance to go to Eagle River Roasters if you're in the Northwoods! read more

Stopped today for a coffee to go - got the screech owl latte half sweet - it had Irish cream flavor in it and it was so good! I've had brewed coffee / bags of coffee from here before, too - they have lots of really good flavors! The staff today was very kind, too. Maybe the best part is they have a small corner in the cafe with books, coloring stuff, and toys for young kids - so appreciate this touch! read more

Staff is always friendly and my customized coffee is always made to order. Highly recommend.

Pumpkin white mocha and turkey, pepper jack with egg bagel was amazing. Such a cute spot!

This is my second time stopping by Eagle River Roasters and it's just as good as I remembered. This time we went through the drive thru which was very convenient especially during the pandemic. I HIGHLY recommend the iced screech owl! This is the best flavored iced coffee drink I've ever had. It's not too sweet but the texture is very creamy which I love. The balance of white chocolate and the Irish cream is perfect. Two others in my party originally ordered the Nitro Cold Brew, which they no longer carry, so instead they opted for a cold brew which was just ok. Either way, I cannot wait to go back and get another drink! read more

Incredible selection of coffees to choose from. Roasted to perfection for every individual's taste. The selection of roasted coffee is great with an explanation of flavor notes to help you pick your favorite flavor of beans. I love the Morning Blend and the Northern Lights roasted beans! The baristas also concoct some incredibly tasty coffee drinks as well. They also offer a nice variety of breakfast options, baked goods and sandwiches and have a nice sitting area to relax and grab a bite to eat and enjoy your favorite coffee drinks. read more

Eagle River Roasters is worlds better than $$$$$$$$. Plus, you'll be supporting a local business which like many has struggled through the pandemic. Unfortunately it is currently closed on Saturday and Sunday, but if you plan your trip Up North just right you can stop in coming to or from. Also, they sell bags of coffee, tea, sandwiches, etc. Oh......they're also stocking Eagle River Bakery items these days. So you can get your Kringle here! read more

One of my very cool friends got me a 5 dollar gift card so I decided to go here. Free guest Wi-Fi, cozy and warm, and our coffee's were made fast! Strong but with a great taste. Employees are nice to you. What a great coffee to start off a snowy day. read more

This is our go-to place for fancy coffee in Eagle River. This year because of COVID we got coffees to go but usually we stay awhile and enjoy the comfy seating and free wifi. The baked goods are tasty and the coffees are "big city". Don't miss this place!!! read more

What a great coffee shop! They have a great coffee selection and also great food/pastries! I got the black bear mocha and 1/2 breakfast panini of your choice of cheese, meat and veggies that came with a side of grapes. The whole staff were very polite and one of the staff even asked if everything tasted okay because they are so under staffed right now and wanted to make sure that everything was still good, I was very appreciative of that. They have plenty of tables, an area for kids and even a cute patio out back. I love the wall of variety of tea bins and coffee bags of the Northwoods theme that you can purchase! This place was been here for 12 years and what a great find for us this week, we will definitely be back. read more

There were a wide variety of coffees and teas for purchase. Large Moucha selection with cute names. Some of them include: Nutty squirrel: Chocolate peanut butter espresso Campfire: Marshmallow, praline, chocolate, espresso Both of these selections were delicious. It was slightly awkward waiting for the coffee as it blocked the entry way. The drinks were slightly more expensive than starbucks (as they have specialty drinks). They have restrooms and wifi and lots of seating. It's a cute, cozy little up-north atmosphere. read more

This is my favorite coffee place in Eagle River! Love the cozy environment and I always have a place to sit and do my work. The coffee drinks are amazing, along with the iced teas of the day, pastries, and more. There's tons of flavors of coffee to purchase to take home and delicious breads as well! Must try! read more

We visited this coffee shop for a quick pick me up. We found the staff very friendly, inviting and welcoming. The place is warm and cozy, clean, and a great place to relax with friends and family. I had the black bear coffee and it was better than any coffee I have had at any coffee shop including Starbucks. We also got the black bear whole beans that are flame roasted in Eagle River for the home. Excellent establishment and very well run. You can also go there for lunch or breakfast items which all looked excellent and fresh baked. Lunch service stops at 2 PM. The coffee shop closes at 3 PM read more

Thank goodness for your place!! My boyfriend and I were visiting his family there..and sought out for a decent coffee place. You were it! Happy to have found your place. We went here every morning until we left. We would have gone to you our last morning there but it was on a Sunday, and we had to leave early because of a blizzard there. 7am. Bummer, for we just had one your delicious breakfast sandwiches too. Wish we would have had one of those sooner!! Yummy!! Fresh and the veggies were fresh and yummy with it. We bought the mugs you serve coffee in too! Not sure when I'll be back there again, but we were fans and would go back for sure. read more

Poorly managed drive thru. Waited over 30 mins in drive thru line to get a cup of coffee. People were ordering breakfast sandwiches and instead of having them pull to the side they had them wait at the window. If you decide to visit this place then go inside don't use the drive thru. read more

Would recommend going here! I got the Nutty Squirrel Frappe, and it was very delicious. It isn't too sweet but has a perfect combination of espresso, chocolate, and peanut butter. The service was quick, and the workers were friendly. The seating area is nice, but the only downside would be the hours. It closes at 2pm which is unfortunate. My friend said his hazelnut latte was a bit too sweet too. It may be a bit expensive depending on the order. The medium frappe is a lot, so I would recommend getting the small. read more

Amazing in every aspect. Staff is sweet, place is always clean, the orders come out very quickly and accurately!!

Was in Eagle River the week of 4th of July but still needed to check in with work. The inside is beautiful and the drinks and food are great! I saw where other people mentioned the price but if you are from the city it's not TOO bad. But one menu item that gave me major pause was the smoothies. I asked what was in them and the girl told me it was just fruit puree. I asked further about the ingredients and she walked over to a refrigerator and pulled out a bottle of store-bought smoothie mix and let me read the label. I ordered one and the total was the short side of $7!! For a smoothie from a bottle?! Jamba Juice makes their smoothies from fresh cut fruit in front of you and they aren't anywhere near $7. I loved Eagle River Roasters and I will continue to go there when working while "up north" but I will pass on the smoothie. Also, word to the wise: the laptop bar is great if you don't want to occupy a whole table and need to plug in...but the girls at the register can be quite loud and chatty right behind you when trying to work. read more

This coffee shop is a life saver for anyone needing a place to get some work done while in Eagle River. Their coffee and food are far better than the price. I highly recommend setting up shop here anytime!!!! read more

There are several reasons to love Eagle River Roasters. They roast their own coffee -- lots of different varieties, and the dark roasts are particularly great. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. And the PIEDINI's!!! OMG -- I'd never heard of them before, and while you have to wait a couple extra minutes for them, over a ready made meal, they are ridiculously good. The seating area is comfortable, brightly lit, reading material provided, Wi-Fi -- everything about Eagle River Roasters is well thought out and designed. Recommended unequivocally. read more

Great little place up in the north woods of Wisconsin! Great breakfast sandwiches, great coffee, and warm and friendly people. What more could anyone ask for in a locally owned coffee shop? read more

Excellent coffee! Would totally go here again. I had the Cranberry Bianca. The ambiance is cozy and the menu was nice and robust without being too crazy. The customer service could've been a tad friendlier, hence the 4-star review, but otherwise, I'm pleased! read more

Two friends and I did day bike rides out of Eagle River in August. We enjoyed stopping at Eagle River Roasters after each day's ride. The iced mocha, cappuccino and scones were excellent! Staff were always busy, but were polite. (We didn't experience the rudeness other reviewers mentioned.) Four stars instead of five because wifi appeared to kick you off every 5 minutes, which was annoying. If management reads this, please increase the duration. read more

Even though the coffee itself is not quite world class, (please refer to my review of Berres Brothers regarding my opinion of flavored coffee), this is my favorite coffee shop. What I like most is this establishment elevates getting coffee and a bite to eat to a cherished event. The space is extremely well designed and laid out. They have everything. This establishment features a variety of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, an area for small children, low and high tables, and an attractive North Woods décor. You can even purchase an attractive earthenware souvenir mug. As far as food items go I highly recommend a quiche selection. At least two kinds are featured depending on availability. read more

Great coffee house. Friendly staff answered all my questions about their blends. My new favorite northwoods hangout.

Great coffees and teas. Giant egg and bacon bagel that was delicious. WiFi is strong if you need that too. Masks required and being warm. Thank you. read more

The environment they have created is very peaceful and relaxing. Its a great place to go and sit to either zone out or get work done. The people that work there are very friendly and it's great service. But the food and coffee is just okay. It's a little bland and lackluster and its not something I would go out of my way for. Overall it is an okay place to stop for your coffee. read more

Very impressed with the breakfast sandwiches. Starbucks should take notes. Fresh, made as you wait, generous portion & tasted great. Really enjoy the atmosphere here. An espresso oasis in the north woods of Wisconsin. We had delicious lattes and a generous portion of homemade quiche (spinach, mozzarella, assorted other vegetables) - a quiche for real men! Stopped to grab a sandwich on Saturday. We were told they stopped serving sandwiches at 1:00. Why do you have a menu with sandwiches listed if you only serve until a certain time? There was no sign indicating that sandwiches are only served until 1:00.The staff was kind and respectful. The coffee is amazing. I have had their sandwiches in the past and they are delicious. Unfortunately it's hard to support local businesses when things like this happen. read more

The coffee here is dank. The menu is big. There is plenty of space inside to sit w friends or get some work done. The inside of the place was kinda hot so maybe they don't have AC. Based on the materials they use they are not very environmentally friendly. They have 3 milk substitutes available which is good. They can get pretty busy so you may have to wait. The workers are rude! Two different workers gave me an attitude!!! Really unacceptable read more

When I moved to this small town from a big city, I was worried when I couldn't find a Starbucks. When I first tried this place, I quickly realized that Starbucks should be taking notes! Sure, there are other coffee shops in town but this one has a drive through! When you have small children, a drive through comes in very handy when the temperature outside is frigid. I've only ever been through the drive through and the staff were very friendly. Today, I tried something different. It was the Red Symphony. A red tea espresso drink. I am so impressed! I've found my new favorite! read more

Best coffee in town! They make a fabulous white chocolate americano. Roasters has such a nice staff. They are really doing so amazing with their coffee and I would highly recommend to buy one of their specialty coffee grounds - they are completely worth it. My sister went in to ask what she should buy for my cold brew at home, and they gave her great recommendations and it was the best cold brew I had ever had. It doesn't stop there, they also have fabulous bakery items for sale as well. Their blueberry and lemon poppyseed muffins are delish! This is my go to place in Eagle River. They also always have a treat for my pup read more
