There were NOT. It was a perfect bake, and I do mean perfect. Not a hard spot to be found, while still being done throughout. To top it off, both literally & figuratively, the icing was exactly the right amount. Needless to say, it is of self-worthy proportions. We also split a fish & chips meal that was tasty, and couldn't finish it, having started with the roll. I could stop there & be happy. These guys went beyond that tho, with fantastic service to boot. Drinks were never empty. We got regular check-ins without hovering. Seriously, the best service of our entire roadtrip all because we happened to stop in on a whim. There's a sitting area decorated up for season & staff offered to take our picture while the food was cooking. An absolutely adorable idea! Plus, very reasonable prices!

The decor was cute, with flowers and murals set up all over the restaurant. They had many baked goods for sale, including a gigantic cinnamon roll. Tempting, but we were already full from breakfast. The food was all decently priced and we felt like we got a bargain!

A lot of products are over the "sell by" date, and still full price. There are items on the "Out of Date" on sale, but most times, the employees walk out the back door with the stuff. The interior of the store is fair considering it's age, floors look worn. As for the staff, the ones who pretend to be floor supervisors are little on the snippy side, and too young to even be able to know how customer service works. The self check outs are a joke, need to be removed and have real people in there, but I understand that no one wants to work there because of several factors. Over all, not impressed, need another store in the L'Anse area.
