This McDonalds is faster than the one on Cabill Dr and the one in Zeeland. I go around lunch time and they are quick!

Terrible drive-through service. No one answering outside lane, had to order at 1st window, went to get food at 2nd window and got attitude from the woman attendant for asking for extra napkins. I can see why this McDonald's only has a 2 for ratings! S. read more

I wanted Fries with sweet and sour sauce and they didn't give me any sauce. I am pissed dude how am I supposed to eat these dry ass fries. And you're gonna charge for these sauces too??? I want my $.58 back read more

My food was cold and wrong, the manager was very rude and said that I ordered the number and not the number 7 and I had to go back up to get some sauce for my order, and the men's bathroom was not clean. If you go to the McDonald's on north river, between 6:30 and 6:45 make sure you speak clearly and load enough so you don't get the wrong order and make sure you speak slowly while letting them know that the bathroom needs to be cleaned. This happened on 04/03/2024. read more

McDonald's - a person eating a sandwich - Fast Food Near Me - Holland, Michigan

This review is for all McDonalds not just this one. I ordered a quarter pounder today and the meat has to be half of what I rem when they first came out. Are they adding the whole sandwich now to get to a quarter pound? And the fries were cold. read more

i got an order with a half eat chicken sandwich. I've never been so disrespeccted in my entire life. read more

Since COVID i have been to this McDonald's 4 times. Dining room was closed. Out of the 4 times, 3 times the order was wrong. 4 out of 4 times the food was cold. I ordered a quarter pounder deluxe. The lettuce was the Big Mac kind. The cost of the orders were OUTRAGEOUS even if it would have been right... or hot. Don't waste your time with this restaurant. Years ago it was good. But no more. read more

This location is by and far the fastest drive-through McD location throughout Holland. The employees are efficient and mostly friendly. I love Donna, who always acknowledges me and even gives me a bit of grief. Food is always correct and fresh. I will always choose this location above all the others in town! read more

This is the fastest McDonald's in Holland the women who work during the day are very friendly, fast and good at there jobs. I stop in at this location 4 days a week and I'm in and out. Thank you for your hard work ladies read more

Overall - pretty standard McDonalds. This place is on my way to work so every now and then I stop in for coffee and maybe lunch. The one thing that I have noticed is that the drive-thru staff seems very friendly and I've never found them without a smile. That's pretty impressive as I can imagine that working the drive-thru doesn't always yield the most pleasant customers. I'll be back again. But don't get your hopes up. This is just your normal McDonals. read more

Has anyone ever ordered an item at McDonald's and they were out of that item...most times they let you know and just readjust your total and you continue onward to pick up your order. Well, new twist, made my order, paid... the worker there was already making mistakes by giving me someone's order, so when I got my order, I checked and only had 2 pies whereas I had ordered 4 pies, 2 apple and 2 pumpkin. The young man said they were out of pumpkin and said they had given me my money back for the 2 pumpkin pies. They had put my money for the pies in the bag, which I considered odd. Has never happened to me. When I got home, I started taking the food out of the bag and the nugget box was upside down but in between the nuggets that were left in there, I found my "refund" for the 2 pies not received and it was not even the correct refund...I have worked with money so I know how dirty money can be , so I was not happy with that. I did go back and talked to a young woman who offered to give me another box of nuggets, which, I did not want. But I did ask for a sweet tea. I don't normally take anything in such cases just letting them know what happened is all I want to do....I hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. But thanks to the young lady who was very understanding, I left satisfied. read more

Wow - Sundays must be really bad here - employees arguing- trash overflowing- ever order messed up - drive thru customers coming in with wrong orders - is there a manager present? It wasn't even busy - I only came here because my Grands begged me - I'll drive further next visit. read more

Why don't they use the coffee punch cards their scanner is broke and they will not scan my phone code, I hate that phone app, go back to the punch cards, what a rip-off. I will have to start going to the other McDonalds that use the punch cards The people who work here are usually very rude and act like they hate their job. Ps: A Message to corporate bring back the punch cards for coffee read more

No crispy chicken after midnight. I'm a second shifter and this sux. I've been a loyal customer for years, but with the menu change and coffee reward program ending I think I have to find a new food chain to frequent. read more

My previous review of this place was way too generous considering how terrible the service is here. Tonight I hit the drive thru window since I was sick and didn't feel like cooking and figured a Filet O Fish would be a pretty bland thing that hopefully my stomach would be able to keep down. There was so little tartar sauce on it that there was only 2 bites of the sandwich were I could just barely taste the tartar sauce. Considering they are charging $3.49 for a small sandwich the least they could do was put enough tartar sauce to where it can be tasted. The thing that really got me mad yet again tonight is how they just hand you your food and don't even bother to give you a simple thank you. It's service like this that makes me say no way should the minimum wage be raised. If it was up to me fast food workers in this country wouldn't be making over $5 an hour which is still more than they deserve. They can't seem to get the order right half the time and rarely even make a weak attempt at pretending to be appreciative that people are supporting the businesses that sign their paychecks. If you want good customer service from a fast food joint in this area skip this waste of a restaurant and go a block down the road to the Taco Bell. Granted it's not fine dining, but somehow they manage to hire good employees that will get you the food you ordered and will be friendly while they do it and they'll even thank you for stopping by. If Taco Bell can find good employees I don't understand why this McDonald's can't. Obviously the problem has to be management letting the employees getting away with giving such deplorable customer service so who knows maybe they need to fire the store management here and work their way down the ladder and start over with a totally new crew. read more

Oh my GOD !!! What NOT to say about this amazing restaurant -- It is one that you will not regret visiting. A perfect vibe of modern and classic, this place offers a specialized menu that literally tastes like it was crafted by a wizard ... We got the big mac, fries, Sausage McMuffin, as well as the beef hamburger and what they call the "McChicken". . Let me tell you !! The McMuffin !!! Is !!! to !!! DIE !!! for !!! The Muffin is fatty and melts in your mouth, and the mix of the sausage and cheese with the fries is perfect, an amazing experience. The fries are battered with a sweet aftertaste and has an amazing sweet tomato based sauce paired with it! The McChicken is perfectly battered and has a luxuriously hand-tossed bun dripping with elegant flavors...i can't say enough about this place -- You just have to try for yourself. read more

I now understand the average 2 star rating. Poorly run, poorly managed, poor employee training, poor attitudes. Ugh. It's really sad. The burgers come out cold, over cooked, sparsely topped and flat. Absolutely no quality control implemented here. Go somewhere else. Seriously read more

The lady manager IS SO RUDE. WoW... I contacted the main office for McDonald and sent them pictures of the tattered American Flag at this location. To my pleasant surprise a few days later a new flag is flying... OK now, how about a light on our flag at night or take it down by nightfall... Let's do what's right!... read more

Came into this McDonald's several times. I have come in 3 times drive thru and 2 times in. All FIVE times my order was NOT taken correctly and there was always a problem. I repeat my order several times. One quarter pounder meal large. Coke. Only mayo pickle slivered onion. I always either get the wrong meal size or I just get a regular quarter pounder. I understand one or two times messing up but every visit I make here I have a problem.. how ever the food is very fresh all the times I have went and the place was clean. That's about all I can remember from the visit was the poor customer service and the cleanliness. read more

McDonald's is McDonald's, however I am not a fun of this one. The people who work here are usually very rude and act like they hate their job. Currently closed 10 min before they are supposed to. It is 10:50 and they close at 11pm. (7-4-19) i understand it is a holiday but this service was unacceptable and extremely rude. They gave us our food and it was all wrong and when I tried to tell them they slammed the window in our face, walked away, and shut off the lights. We sat in a parking spot and watched 10 different cars go through. Will never come here again. read more

Had a great experience at 9:45 am. Before I ordered they greeted me over the speaker, I could tell they had a smile on their face when they spoke. At the end of my order they offered another purchase I might enjoy and told me the price. I declined, and they moved on with my total and asked me to move forward, all in a very upbeat and kind voice. I got to the pay window they told me my total chatted for a second had a smile the whole time. I got to the food window they had a smile on with my food ready. Handed me my order while telling me what they were handing me, thanked me and offered a good day. The time lasted maybe 2 minutes from order to leaving. Awesome service you guys! read more

Ok same lady that works nights rude as hell served me a smoothie that was about 20 percent missing and tells me that's how it done..got my money back as she says whatever...lady I work hard for my money as well as you do....you act like you don't like your job...then quit....u are so unpleasant to have there and why your managers don't do something is beyond me....I believe your a manager as well... I am in the industry myself and I would have fores you a long time ago..I have heard many complaints on you and the way you serve people...either smile and do your job right or give it up and go work in a back room somewhere that doesn't require customer contact....I have emailed McDonald's head quarters with the picture of the smoothie just like I told you I would do..hopefully they respond..if not keep giving you crappy service... read more

Not happy with this location at all!! Just wanted a large diet coke, but they are not running the $1 any size special that every other location in town does. I pulled back out of their drive thru, and went across the street to Family Fare gas station. 44 oz soda for $1.05 including tax. If they won't follow the normal sales campaigns, I refuse to ever go to this location again! read more

first of all, your strawberry shakes taste like expired eggnog. secondly, you are always messing up orders. i have never gotten my correct order. also, you can never seem to get more than one pickle on the cheeseburgers. who's stopping you?? finally, clean your food. the chicken nuggets taste like teeth. the only good thing, is that you have bathrooms. even those aren't clean, though. read more

If I could give this location a big 0 I would have. We, my coworkers and I, work 3rd shift at a location close by. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is how no matter what time of the night we go here the frappe machines are always being cleaned. They must have the cleanest Frappe machine in town which is weird because it only takes 30 minutes. Now we have gotten wise and call before we go so we are not let down or waste our time with no operating Frappe machine!!! However, after we call, our timing is apparently impeccable, the machines are going back up in "30 minutes." When calling they are rude (especially the little edentulous one that works the window and answers the phone most nights), when going through the drive thru, they are rude!!!! I work night's as well and I would never treat a customer or living thing the way they do. WAKE UP ALREADY! It's called customer service for a reason. You are here to serve your customers. I don't expect at 3a you are going to have rainbows and butterflies coming out of you ears but at least at like you care...kinda like you act like you like your job ;) If you are looking for poor service this is your place! read more
