The Dr Pepper was flat. That's about the only major complaint. The fries could (always) have been fresher and hotter, but the Double Quarter Pounder was hot and so were the McNuggets. Best of all, there were a lot of people in the drive-thru, but this location had zero problem handling all of us without putting everyone in parking spaces for 10+ minutes afterwards, then doling out cold food like the Decoto McDonald's has been doing. When I was handed my bag at the second window, I almost didn't believe it, but that was it! Food, sauce, even napkins were inside. 1 star is being generous based on the service I received earlier today. First of all, who waits at a drive-thru for 20 mins before even receiving their food? I'd placed a simple order - 1 happy meal with 6pc chicken nuggets, gogurt and milk. My total on the order confirmation screen was $5.49. As soon as I get to the cashier she greets me & says 'your total is $8.68' and she immediately swipes my card before I can even object. I then correct her and she goes back and reads off my order. According to her it's '2 happy meals'. WRONG. She then calls for assistance and another girl comes up to the cashier window, looks at the screen with the same confused look as the first girl and they both disappear only to bring back the manager. Does the manager even look at me to apologize for the mistake? NOPE. As soon as they process the refund the manager runs right back to the kitchen. The cashier hands me the refund receipt and the amount is incorrect. It's about $1.10 less than what it should be. UGH! When I bring that fact to their attention they dismiss it as 'oh, well that amount doesnt include the tax.' WRONG. They'd left out an item from the original charge which gave them an amount less than what it should have been. HOLY S--T! REALLY? Ok, I thought, I'll let this go. No sense in looking like an a$$hole for $1.11. So then I proceed to window #2 (FINALLY) and the guy hands me a diet coke. WHAT?! I look at him with a vicious look (unintended of course but at this point I'm totally and utterly frustrated) and I inform him that this isn't part of my order. He looks at his order screen seemingly frustrated himself and runs to the kitchen. Judging by his expression he's been dealing with this chaos all afternoon. He finally arrives with my order and guess what? It's wrong! But he was quick to apologize and accommodate me with extra bbq sauce. He did a better job than the other 3 women who'd made my experience such a pain in the a$$. This McDonalds is chaos and they need to figure their s--t out. Oh, did I mention my fries were cold? This McDonalds is kind of awkwardly placed on the side of the road which makes it annoying to get in at traffic but it is next to a motel and a Denny's which can be convenient I guess. This review is for the drive thru, I'm going to be honest I'm not a ride or die McDonald's person this is probably my 2nd time in my life eating it? And it wasn't all that. First off the drive thru line was ridiculous we were waiting in line for like half an hour, it just wasn't moving and the feeling of being between cars in a line where you can't get out is no fun! The lucky cars at the back were able to escape once they saw there was no movement. Once we finally got our food the staff was ok not too nice but not mean either. I ordered a vanilla ice coffee it was the most bitter iced coffee I've ever tried. It had no trace of vanilla!
