Service is always great at this location and they are in the middle of renovating their drive thru lines. I'm curious how it will look and if it will help with traffic congestion driving past the drive thru lines. For now they are still open for drive thru and they have someone running the orders out to you. The only issue is if someone in front of you doesn't get their food then you have to wait till they get their food to move your car forward. Also if the customer in front of you checks their bags then you have to wait for them to finish and leave. Right now you just need patience when going through the drive thru lines. Ate here today had the Cobb salad and a coke float. Before too long my stomach hurt and I was instantly sick. I knew what it was because the only thing that does this to me is MSG. I thought people stopped using it decades ago but nope I paid for a salad that left me in 20 mins flat. If you are like me and have stomach upset when you eat anything with MSG. Upon pulling up I noticed they had delivery cars. I'm not sure if this is applicable to every location but a great feature to bypass any third party delivery app drag. Since I was in the area and they serve quality items. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap and grilled nuggets. I think I'll pass on the wrap. I love me some Chick-fil-a. They're my favorite chicken fast food spot. Service has almost always been above most other places. I've never dined and noticed it dirty or messy. Shout out to the 2 people assigned in the cash register(Alyssa and Cristian Alf) for rendering a very excellent customer service when I visited and dined in in this Mowry branch between 3:30pm-4pm. The 2 young girls helped me figure out the problems I've encountered with the app on my phone. I was going on the app to scan the food receipt. However, it wasn't working. Both girls took their time without hesitation to help, working on my phone, and gave suggestions on how to make the app work again and be able to scan the receipt for the points. We came here during the peak lunch hour on a weekday and it was unsurprisingly packed! The parking lot was full although it's a bit tiny and cramped, the line to order was busy, and the dining area was lively. Fortunately, it seemed they had the staff to support the lunch rush and many of the orders seemed to be pretty small and simple. What was surprisingly was that they individually walk up to you and hand you or order as opposed to you having to walk up to a counter or rack to pick it up. They do have a mobile app that occasionally will have deals and rewards available to redeem and allows you to order in advance for either curbside or in-store pickup. We chose the latter as we had to hop over to another location afterwards. The app is pretty easy to use and has vibrant colors and pictures to help with the ordering process. The menu is quite simple; you're basically going to come here for the chicken sandwich - and you pick either the spicy or non-spicy variety and get a choose or choose to go with it. They also have sides like waffle fries to indulge in as well. What's nice is that the sandwiches come protected in a cardboard box so it doesn't get squashed with the rest of your food. The sandwich maintains its structure and temperature quite well. With each bite, you get a good crisp and juicy piece of chicken meat and the tang of the pickles and sauce that goes with it. The spice on the spicy deluxe isn't too hot but it does give a nice kick for those who rarely take heat in their food. The sandwich in itself is quite filling which makes the price point for the sandwich seem fair. It's not a whole lot of food from the looks for it but it does keep you full for a bit. The location is clean and well lit from the many windows. There were plenty of tables and chairs but many of them were occupied by patrons. They also have outdoor seating shaded by big umbrellas should you choose to dine outside. Overall, great chicken sandwiches and excellent service from staff. I have never written a review before as a food service worker I never felt the need to do it. I've never felt annoyed or disrespected enough to leave a review but today I went to the Chick-fil-A location and I went through the drive-through and ordered. A young lady whose energy was already off, which is understandable. She is outside in the heat, where it takes a turn is when I ask if she could ADD lettuce to my sandwich, she says yes, repeats the order saying ADD lettuce she proceeds to ring me up. I grabbed my food and drive home. This is about a 20 minute drive from my house I go home open the sandwich and realize that there is no bun on it. It is only lettuce and the chicken. I am obviously annoyed at this point because I already drove there now I have to drive back and nobody answered the phone when I tried to call. I get there and a man helps me out who I presume is the manager or supervisor he ask what the problem was. I tell him what I want bread, chicken, lettuce, and pickles. That is it. He proceeds to tell the kitchen staff what to remake. He repackages my food and I walk back to my car and check the food in case of anything, as soon as I grab the box I feel it is very light. I open it immediately, realizing that it was again only chicken and lettuce. I am very angry and annoyed at this point that I have to repeat myself for a second time after I already explained the situation and they gave me the same thing I had also asked for them to remake the other food as it was already cold because I had to drive back. They said they would, but the food was still cold when I entered the car overall a very bad experience. But tonight, I met a stubborn young man at the drive through who ignored me, took on other cars to move into another lane, took their orders along with another girl Kelsey and then he came over to me. I told him I did not like what he did. He lied and said he had motioned me to go to another lane, which he didn't and which I couldn't anyway cause I was already in the lane and not willing to jump a curb. "I don't want my album coming out with a 'G' rating. Nobody would buy it." - Donny Osmond Lisa Z. inspired me with her "dramatic" waffle fries pics to write a Chick-fil-A review. My hardest decision was should I write one for the Redwood City on Whipple location, or the one on Mowry in Fremont. I've ventured to both locations, but have frequented the one in Fremont more. So here I am... Chick-fil-A is by far my favorite fast-food restaurant. I'm not the biggest fast-food fan to begin with, however Chick-fil-A is the exception. Maybe the only frustration is that locations are 25-40 miles from my home base. Oh and the clincher that all locations are closed on Sundays. Yep, Chick-hallelujah-A are closed on Sundays! Why? Following the Christian religious belief of Sunday Sabbatarianism. Respects. My that amazing Chicken Sandwich! Yes, it's delicious! As Jennifer "Michelin Stars" T. told me how clean it tastes. And yes, she makes sense when you compare it to other Chicken Sandwiches. Yup, the Waffles Fries are amazing too... Ohh dipping it in the house sauce is a must! My drink of choice is the Sunjoy which is basically half Tea /half Lemonade. The above always satisfies me, however you know what really keeps me coming back? That Chicken Breakfast Sandwich! Substitute the Bun for the Butter Milk Biscuits and you have Chicken "Crack" Heaven :3 Oh my! Only served in the mornings! In the end, Chick-fil-A is the one fast-food spot I would recommend. It's the first fast-food restaurant to go completely trans-fat free. The menu is kept small for a reason. They just do it right! After all they've been around since 1946 so they must be doing something right, right? I have yet to try their their Fish Sandwiches during Lent! Just don't bother on Sunday..
